Grand Hyatt Macau

Spent 4 nights at the Grand Hyatt last week. After an initial hiccup at check in we had a sublime experience. Luke and James at breakfast were absolutely amazing. Incredible service both friendly yet professional. The buffet breakfast itself was delicious. Unbelievably large selection, everything extremely fresh. We also used the lounge and here the hotel service hit its Zenith. The staff are exceptional. It was a return visit for me and it was like arriving at a very generous friend’s home. Tina, Duke, Peggy and Joseph in particular were outstanding. The food and wine served are the best I’ve had in any hotel. The afternoon tea rivals any I’ve had at 5 star hotels around the world. Kudos to the hotel GM who obviously has a great team here.

Weekend stay to watch the brand new House of the Dancing Water show. Greeted by the very hospitable Kent, who got us a corner room on the 18th floor directly facing the Wynn palace - which put on a great music and light show every 20min from 6pm-12am. Also a free cable car ride. The room is immaculately clean and well equipped with usb hubs everywhere, well stocked bar. Also 20% discount off affiliated restaurants if you show them your house of dancing water ticket. Katrina H at reception was also nice and pointed out directions for us. Late checkout till 2pm as well. The only tiny glitch is the location - it’s 20min walk to the main shops at the Venetian. But then this place is much less crowded compared with other hotels and the mood is more relaxed. Breakfast service was made really special by Aris David who took care of our every whims! Another great stay !

My family and I had a great time staying over. We were welcome with great service from the team Ken, Joseph, Lucky, Chloe and Tina. We were very lucky to arrive during the cocktail timing. Check in was smooth, Chloe was very thoughtful and understanding towards my daughter needs and prepared the extra bed for my daughter. Cocktails hours team were fabulous, Tina was clear with my check in paperwork and she is so easy to speak to. Really capable and anticipatory with my family needs. Ken, Joseph and Lucky, they went the extra miles of servicing us, my family and I really had a fantastic time at the club lounge and stay.

We are totally impressed by the excellent service of the staff in Grand Hyatt hotel especially Kent Peng from the Guest experience team. He was very friendly when he checked us in and even recommended us places we can visit during our stay in Macau, which places to get good food and how to get to these places. We were very impressed with Kent’s patience and his willingness to answer our questions and requests whenever we called the reception to ask to talk to him. He made us really feel welcomed and especially on the day we checked in, he showed genuine concern that the 2 beds in the room we booked may not be big enough for our family of 3 and patiently explained and showed us other room options. Though eventually we did not change our room, he still called to our room to check in on us to make sure the room is ok for us. Kudos to Kent!

I think it was our third or fourth time staying at Grand Hyatt Macau last week. We were a group of 9 from Thailand. The check in was a bit of disaster cos it didn't turn out well as we expected especially when we have 4 seniors (nearly 80 yo) with us. After a long day traveling and they were totally exhausted, we had to lie up in the reception area waiting for my sister (who is a Globalist) trying to sort out the problems (long list and I don't want to mention anyone name here). Anyway, after the check in was done and Cindy came to rescue us. The experience was totally changed from worst to excellent. So big thanks to Cindy! Really appreicate it and you did make things absolutely fab! I also want to thanksTina who always welcome us at club lounge with great hospitality. Also her colleagues including Duke, Peggy, Joseph and other members (sorry I can't remember all the names) you guys are amazing and always make us feel like home. It's like visiting a group of friends indeed. I also want to thanks James and Luke at breakfast. You guys had done such a great job for taking care of us. We really enjoyed the breakfast everyday. I can eat that lobster congee every morning! Tips : It's only two stops from the hotel to airport by LRT. There is a free shuttle bus from the airport to City of Dreams also. Higly recommend this hotel for anyone who wanna visit Macau. Great location and service indeed.

Good hotel, but not recommended to others if you are sensitive to smoking smell. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean, but there is a bad smoking smell in the hallway and the elevator.

Stayed in a twin room with a friend in the Grand Club Tower. Everything was wonderful. Check in and out was easy, a bowl of fruit arrived not long after we did. The room is spacious and comfortable, the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Duke and the staff on the 37th Floor were fantastic. All the staff were. The 37th Floor is great for snacks and tea time. All in all a very good experience. Highly recommend this hotel

Second stay. Location is strategic and convenient with train. Few stops away from airport. Breakfast is served with variety of foods, tastes good. Receptionist is very friendly and polite. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
