Grand Hyatt Muscat

We recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel and were thoroughly impressed. ​One of the first things we noticed was how wonderfully spacious the rooms are. There was more than enough space for our entire family to spread out and relax without feeling cramped, which was a huge plus. ​However, the true highlight was the staff. They were incredibly agile and accommodating, which is a lifesaver when you're traveling with family. No request seemed too big or small, and they were always quick to respond to our constantly changing needs with a smile. Their proactive and friendly service really made our stay special. ​To top it all off, the hotel boasts great amenities and services that were all well-maintained and enjoyable. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. ​Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families looking for a comfortable stay with outstanding service. We'll definitely be looking to book here again on our next trip!

This is a grand old dame in Muscat that is getting a new lease on life - and it is great to see where it is going. The new pool and facilities are great. Whilst the rooms are still old world, the hotel is relaxed, spacious and quite beautiful inside. Yes things are still being renovated and need some love outside, but special thanks go to the wonderful staff, especially in the restaurants and Grand Club. That includes the chefs who are passionate about what they do.

The hotel is located on the beach front and has amazing access to beach and boardwalk. The rooms are spacious , beds are comfortable and bathrooms have a bidet and the ac works well , but the rooms are not practical for use. For example there are very few plugins outlets to charge your phone or accessories and they are not conveniently located. If there are points there is no table close to it as you will need long cables to attach your device from plug points to table. No phones in the room, so you have to take a long walk around to the front desk if you need to communicate something. Hotel is under reconstruction and entry and exit driveways are a bit confusing. Getting to the lobby after parking your car necessitates taking several steps as the lobby is on the third floor hence not handicap friendly as there is no lift. Hallway carpets are old and smell of cigarettes. There is no free breakfast included in your stay. |They just reopened their infinity pool which was amazing and has views overlooking the ocean. Overall a comfortable stay.

We had a 2 day stop over in Muscat when travelling home to Australia from Europe. The Hyatt was a great relaxed place to stay with large comfortable rooms and a newly renovated pool area that was great. Previous reviews spoke about noise and disruption from the renovation however only a few small things are left to complete. We enjoyed our stay here.

His attention to detail and warmth made us feel genuinely valued.||Breakfast was another highlight. Mr. Abdullah brewed a coffee so rich and flavorful, I haven’t found its match even in Dubai. It was pure magic. And April and Nikiti—what a duo! Their hospitality, grace, and cheerful energy made us feel completely at home.||Because of this incredible team, we returned to Grand Hyatt within just 15 days. That speaks volumes. The hotel is truly fortunate to have such outstanding staff.||Thank you all—for making our stay unforgettable. We’ll be back soon.

Brilliant hotel and the room facilities were fantastic. Access to the beach was very near to the hotel which was really ideal for us. The staff were really helpful and friendly. A special mention for Nikita, April, Ahmed, Abdullah and Aisha for being so helpful at breakfast time. The breakfast offer was out of this world. Thank you so much Grand Hyatt for a memorable stay.

I popped in to have a drink and apart from one staff member insisting I had to sit upstairs and order a full meal, it was fine. Two other staff members said having just a drink was fine.|The pool still hasn't been refurbished and occupancy is understandably low. It appears that there are generally more staff then customers so I hope things improve for them. |Perhaps, like in Abu Dhabi, they should consider 1,6 or 12 month lease allocations at reasonable rates for residents just to recover losses and to get by in typically low tourist seasons such as mid-summer.

This hotel is not only beautiful on the outside but also very clean and well-organized inside. Each room is spacious and comfortably furnished, allowing guests to feel at ease. The security system is highly developed — from the entrance gate to the entire premises, everything is well-monitored. For those who prefer a peaceful and secure environment, this hotel is a great choice.
