Grand Hyatt Muscat

This hotel is not only beautiful on the outside but also very clean and well-organized inside. Each room is spacious and comfortably furnished, allowing guests to feel at ease. The security system is highly developed — from the entrance gate to the entire premises, everything is well-monitored. For those who prefer a peaceful and secure environment, this hotel is a great choice.

I had a wonderful short stay at the Grand Hyatt Muscat and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. Some people call it a “kitschy” due to its size and grand design, but I actually found that totally unfair. The hotel is a huge property, yes, but it beautifully integrates Omani architectural elements and cultural touches that make it feel welcoming and authentic. During my visit, the hotel was undergoing renovation, but I was impressed by how professionally it was handled. It didn’t disturb the guests at all. They even offered pick-up service to the nearby swimming pool, and the beach access remained open and peaceful. Restaurants were still operating, and the staff went above and beyond to keep everything quiet and comfortable for everyone staying. The food was absolutely delicious, and the team welcomed us with warm smiles and excellent Omani coffee – a perfect touch. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated in style, but they’re enormous and offer such a sense of space and calm that it really didn’t matter. I’m actually looking forward to seeing the full refurbishment – if the service is already this good. The location is also fantastic with easy access to great spots in Muscat. Overall, amazing staff, great hospitality, delicious food, and a lot of charm. Can’t wait to come back when it’s fully refreshed!

Amazing hotel, looks like a palace. Huge rooms, really comfortable. Excellent breakfast, with a huge variety of food choices, vegans well catered for. Hotel is across from a lovely beach with beautiful warm water. |We were made very welcome by Neville at reception.

I stayed only for 1 night; the hotel is beautifully designed and the rooms are super clean and spacious. However, they are realllyyggy outdated and need refurbishment! Even the room didn’t have sockets next to the bed to charge your phone for instance. You hear weird sounds when you use the toilet and the water flow from the shower is a disaster! On the positive side, i had diner at the Italian restaurant and the food and service were top quality and tasty. Breakfast was super basic (especially for. 5 star hotel) the Gym has good equipments but is dull. Staff service (except the reception check in) was also very good ! Super friendly.

We visited Oman for the first time with my boyfriend and since the reason and celebration behind the trip was my birthday, the team gave us an Upgrade but unfortunately the room was extremely noisy due to a contraction going on in the hotel. We have called the FO and the answer we received was “Would you like to shorten your stay?” instead of offering a room move straight. But fortunately, the lady checked with a leader on duty and we moved the room and luckily the new one was much better, with a nice city view.|The Pool is closed under renovation and no information was given before arrival also nothing is mentioned on the application. It would be nice if it's informed before so as a tourist you can plan your days accordingly. |The first day we ordered “Omany Mixed Grill” through the Room service and we received the lobster grill. We called and they changed it. But the mix grilled comes without bread. However, the lady who delivered the order was super polite. I guess her name is Zouina. Appreciated the cake I received for my birthday as well. |Abdullah at the BF was amazing!!! Took care of us every morning and he went above and beyond. By the time we were coming to the table from the buffet he already placed our coffees! And the lady at the egg station as well. Super friendly and polite! (Didnt have the chance to get her name).|Overall we had a great stay! So thanks to the Grand Hyatt Muscat Team.

⭐ 0 stars if I could. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The Grand Hyatt is under construction something they conveniently fail to mention when booking. There’s absolutely nothing to do on-site, and key amenities like the pool are unavailable. We flew in from Qatar expecting a relaxing stay, only to be met with noise, inconvenience, and disappointment. If we want to use a pool, we have to take a ride to another hotel, which completely defeats the purpose of staying here. For a brand like Hyatt, this is absolutely unacceptable. I would never recommend staying here until the construction is fully complete

Had a great four night break at this hotel. Rooms were big and had everything one would need for their stay. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us, always bringing me ice to my room when needed, Eman and his team were attentive at breakfast time and meeting our dietary needs and Rahim cleaned our rooms to a high standard. Thank you for a great stay, will be coming back soon.

There was a definite feeling of potential for an amazing hotel when we stayed here on a business trip in February 2025 but with renovations going on it tempted a return visit. I was disappointed not to be able to swim but good alternatives were available. Besides the thing to do is really to go for a walk outside at the end of the day and take in the muscat family life. Hope to go back to see all the good work,
