A great hotel located on the edge of the center. They have a great free shuttle to two points in the center. There is a perfect path to walk to town along the creek from the hotel. Great large rooms nice pool. They have on spot valet parking for a fee. Nice staff. For winter I saw an on spot gondola for ski which is perfect

Great hotel! The room was very clean and also luxurious feeling. The room is thoughtful in its decor. I love the flowers on the balcony! The beds were very comfortable. The hotel grounds are well-kept and beautiful. It’s a nice, luxurious hotel surrounded by lots of natural beauty. I would especially recommend staying here if you can get a good deal.

The location and view is great! Close to Vail Village and Lions head. With the Aspens turning its gorgeous in late September. Friendly service throughout the team. Elaine is the perfect, living definition for the hospitality industry. We met her in 2023 and again this trip currently. She is incredibly friendly, genuine and warm, she bends over backwards to be accomadating and makes you feel comfortable. The company has a real gem in her! The desk staff was very helpful as well and offered us a complimentary room upgrade.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Vail for our anniversary and were honestly disappointed. We were expecting a peaceful, luxury experience—what we got was more like a chaotic summer camp. The pool was completely overcrowded and unusable. Our plan was to relax riverside and enjoy the view, but instead we found kids jumping in with giant inflatables, screaming, and running around unsupervised. The entire lobby felt like a daycare. The walls are paper-thin. We could hear every word from the people next door like they were in our room. Their 5 AM alarm woke us up before ours ever did. Not exactly restful. There was a wedding happening during our stay, and by 10 PM we were listening to Whitney Houston blasting outside our door. The noise level in the entire hotel was out of control. The website lists private GMC transportation among the amenities, but that didn’t seem to exist during our stay. And the resort fee? Still trying to figure out what it covered. We didn’t use half the amenities, even though the list sounded impressive. The restaurant had just opened and was underwhelming at best. The only feature that was remotely useful was the shuttle to Vail, though one of the seats had a pillow stuffed into it due to damage. We had high hopes, especially booking through American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the expectations.

We had the best experience here. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Grand Suite and it was huge. Very clean, the most comfortable bed. It was better than the photos provided online. We chose to self park and if we had to do it again we would’ve just paid the extra $7 for valet parking. If you self park, there is a bit of a walk to the parking garage that is by the road. Despite what other reviews say, we did not have any disturbances. Would highly recommend.

Loved our recent stay at Grand Hyatt - Vail. Check-in was smooth , Vaibhav checked us in and acknowledged our loyalty status with Hyatt and upgraded us to a beautiful Creek and Mountain View Suite. The hotel is located just outside of Vail Village with a shuttle that runs to the village every 15 minutes. It has a beautiful Pool area (one of the best Pools in Colorado - that is heated perfectly even for cold days). They also have couple of very good restaurants on site including a Michelin star Japanese restaurant. We have been to Vail a few times and stayed at several resorts but this one definitely tops most if not all of them. We will be back.

We had an amazing stay at Grand Hyatt Vail! The property is beautiful and located right by the creek with peaceful views and easy access to Vail’s mountain trails. The resort has a very relaxing vibe, and the shuttle service to Vail Village was super convenient. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a cozy feel with a fireplace, balcony and a mountain view. The beds were really comfortable too! We loved the outdoor heated pool and hot tubs perfect after a day of biking around town. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this resort for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind in Vail. Can’t wait to come back!

Overall, the hotel meets the standard expectations of a 4-star chain. The property is well-maintained, and both the valet and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. However, the room experience left much to be desired. We are a family of four and booked a connecting room for comfort during our stay. Unfortunately, the room assigned to the adults had serious plumbing issues. The shower was completely clogged, and even when not in use, it would randomly back up, creating a foul smell throughout the bathroom. When I brought this issue to the front desk (Robert if I’m not mistaken), their only solution was to send a plumber to fix it during our stay — which was the last thing we wanted while on a 4-day vacation with toddlers. Noise, smell, and people working in our room during our holiday is far from ideal. The concierge informed us there were no other rooms available due to full occupancy and did not offer any alternative solutions or compensation — not even a complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. His response was essentially: if you don’t want plumbing work happening in your room, then too bad. Disappointed by the lack of service recovery from a hotel of this caliber. While the staff in certain departments were great, the handling of our room issue left us feeling overlooked and dissatisfied.
