Grand Indian

So good we went back a second time! Really lovely food. A little bit more expensive than the average Sri Lankan but well worth it. The food is amazing and the service is excellent. It’s better if you can get a few dishes and share to try different things!

The food is truly authentic Indian cuisine, with curries that are both flavourful and delicious. Despite the busy evening, the staff were extremely helpful. The menu offers a wide range of options, and the restaurant has a stunning view of the main Grand Hotel building.

Had two dishes, prawn curry and butter chicken which is their best seller item on the menu. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. Amazing authentic Indian cuisine food. Top notch quality.

Truly outstanding, easily the best Indian food we had in Sri Lanka. This is something you wouldn't want to miss when you're in Nuwara Eliya. For me (albeit not an expert in Indian cuisine) the taste was on par with the best food we had in Delhi. Khadai Murgh was particularly good, and you shouldn't miss the fresh bread.

Incredible food. Over the top service. They sat us without reservations and let us tour the hotel next door as well. Everything was great and I can't say anything less than that!

Fantastic Indian food, the taste is authentic. Excellent customer service despite the difficulties during the peak. North Indian veg/non-veg dishes and the Indian breads are superb. Can be crowded, have to wait to be seated and a considerable time is taken to deliver the orders - specially for dinner during the season. So you won't get the value for money, considering the high prices. Still the food quality and taste make the place attractive. Best place for Indian food in the town!
