Beautiful place to stay. It's far from town, fyi. Cheapest, and best selection of groceries are in town. The condos are amazing. Daily service if you want it. They were good about just leaving us coffee, tea, and towels if we didn't need service. They were very nice. The unit has a very small washer and dryer, sub zero fridge, and dishwasher. We had 2 bed rooms with bathroom in each, plus 1 up in the living area. 2 beautiful pools. You have choice to rent a golf cart during your stay. Great beach out there in Emerald Bay, with kayaks and snorkel stuff available. They do have a few food/ drink options on site (but we recommend you go 5 minutes north to cocoplum bistro). We would recommend this place.

Our trip to Exuma was unforgettable, and Grand Isle Resort was a huge part of why. From the moment we arrived, every detail of our stay exceeded expectations. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, crystal-clear water, beautiful villas, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease.||||What made our stay truly exceptional, though, were the people. Kaleisha at the front desk was an absolute gem. When our scheduled boat tour was canceled at the last minute, she didn’t hesitate for a second, she jumped into action and found us an alternate option that ended up being even better than we could have imagined. Her kindness, resourcefulness, and warm personality turned what could have been a disappointment into one of the highlights of our trip.||||At the bar, Carlton was another standout. He makes the most delicious piña coladas we’ve ever tasted (seriously, they deserve an award!) and is such a great conversationalist. His friendly energy and attention to detail made every visit to the bar feel special.||||And Princess, our waitress at 23° North, was simply superb. Her service was impeccable, she anticipated everything we needed, all with a smile that made us feel right at home.||||Every staff member we encountered at Grand Isle embodied true hospitality. You can tell they take pride in making guests feel cared for and welcome. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already planning our next visit.||||Grand Isle isn’t just a resort, it’s an experience, and the people make it unforgettable.

We stayed at Grand Isle Resort for our honeymoon and it was exactly the relaxation we needed! The service was definitely 5 starts and all staff members were so friendly to us. From the moment we arrived exhausted after our wedding, we stepped into ultimate paradise. Our villa was located right next to the pool and ocean, the view from our balcony was spectacular. Everyone at the pool bar was so friendly and service was super fast with our food/drinks. We tried to jerk shack on the beach and we instantly fell in love with the flavors of that chicken and Mac n cheese, We went back for seconds! All of my piña colada’s were right on the money, the rum was delicious. A huge shout out to Carlton at the beach bar, and Shelly at the seastar spa. She did a phenomenal job for our couples massage! The entire staff treated us like royalty and we really really really appreciate it. We did not want to leave this morning and we were already talking about when we can come back to Grand Isle…. An amazing resort without the typical resort feel. Every employee we interacted with were kind and a pleasure to be around. The food and drinks were excellent and the beach was clean and very accessible. Highly recommend and we are excited for our next trip back.

My friend and I stayed at Grand Isle Resort and Residences for 3 days August 8-11 and had such a wonderful time. The food and service was great. The pools are clean and nice and a beautiful beach area with plenty of chairs and shady umbrellas. 23 North residence was super nice and the food was excellent. I had a 50 minute massage with Shelley at the Sea Star Spa. Totally worth it. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. |We had a great Goombay Smash cocktail at Palapa and Denrick Burrows was a very pleasant and attentive bartender for our stay. |We also loved the grilled jerk ribs with Mac and cheese down at the Sandy Toes beach bar! The reception team were very responsive, polite and took care of arranging cabs and airport transfers. Very impressed! We stayed in a residence and it was easy to walk around the property and the restaurants. We even walked outside the property one night to a restaurant down the road called Salt which had a lively vibe and delicious food (grouper and prawns dishes were our favorite). Would love to come back here!!

The resort is stunning and exceptionally well managed. The buildings and grounds are beautifully maintained, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. However, I was disappointed with my room assignment. I had booked an ocean-view villa months in advance, but Villa 5122 offered a view of the gym roof rather than the ocean. This was not what I expected and fell short of what was advertised.

Beautiful villas that are even better than the resort website pictures. Also exceptional service by everyone at the resort ! The staff is always willing to answer any questions and assist you with anything you need like excursions and anything else. You have the regular pool with the restaurant that provides drinks and food right behind it. The adult pool which has cabanas that provide shade are very nice and overlook the ocean. Everything is close together. You might need a golf cart to go around if your villa is a little far from those areas, but it’s very worth it and kind of fun to drive around anyway. The resort is definitely the best accommodation in the area. It is a gated community so it’s perfect for families and feels very safe. Getting food for the kitchen you have in the villa is a bit challenging so I would plan ahead for that. Renting a car to get around the island is a practical choice that I wish we had made but as far as the resort itself , it has the perfect blend of high end accommodations while still maintaining that island feel. They also provide kayaks, paddle boards and other beach items as part of your stay. Highly recommend this resort!

Absolutely Outstanding Stay at Grand Isle Resort! Grand Isle Resort is truly accommodating, beautiful, and staffed with amazing people! We originally stopped by just to have lunch at Palapa, but the moment we entered the property, we knew we had to leave our VRBO to fully enjoy everything the resort offers. I went straight to the reception desk, and to our surprise, they had a room available that fit exactly what we needed. They even arranged for early check-in and had our room ready by 1 PM. A golf cart was available to us for a daily rental fee, which was a huge plus for getting around the property. Our room was simply beautiful—immaculate, comfortable, and stocked with every amenity you could think of. The resort features two large pools: one for families with children and another reserved for adults, both stunning and relaxing. We continued to enjoy breakfast and lunch at Palapa throughout our stay, and on our last night, we had dinner at 23 North—absolutely delicious. From start to finish, our experience exceeded expectations. I would definitely recommend Grand Isle Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway!
