Grand Lebanon Restaurant (Batu Ferringhi, Penang)

I love the atmosphere, the service, and the food! Everything is perfectly suited whether you’re dining with family or alone. The food arrived at just the right time — not too long to wait — and we really enjoyed the taste. As you can see, the portions are generous too. A lovely place, and we’ll definitely be back.

Everything tasted great here! I highly recommend the Spaghetti Bolognese and the Mango Lassi 🤩 The fries were crispy and nicely salted, and the spaghetti was very flavorful with lots of spices. 🥰 A really enjoyable meal overall! The service staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy.

The food is very unique in both style and taste. The cheese naan was soft, fresh, and really tasty. It stood well on its own and complemented the masala chicken perfectly. The mixed grill of chicken, beef, and lamb were all delicious and well-seasoned. The restaurant has a lovely interior with a variety of seating options, including high tables and counter seating. All the staff were very friendly and warm.

The staff are attentive and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is generally decent. The chicken kebab tastes acceptable, though it could benefit from a stronger grilled, smoky flavour. The fries would be better if they were thicker. The Lebanese mixed salad is decent, and the naan is acceptable as well, though it could be improved.

Recommended by our tour guide Mr Mohamed. Such a warm welcome from Mr Azrai the host/waiter. He attended to every need with a smile and patience. The staff is friendly and speaks English very well.Azrai recommended some very nice meal options and he has great pictures on his phone too which made our choice making very easy. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Penang.

Overall experience was good and food taste was excellent. However, was a little disappointed with the Claypot fish dish. The picture is totally different from what was served. It looked more like “fish head curry” and was hard to find the flesh of the fish and had more vegetables instead. The taste overall was excellent but for rm70+ one would expect a little more fish.

The food was really delicious and full of flavour. The ambience is warm and cozy, making it a great place to dine and relax. Service was good and the overall experience was enjoyable. Definitely a nice Arabic restaurant to visit again! 😊
