Grand Lux Cafe

*Long post warning* Grand Lux Café at the Galleria feels a bit like running into an old friend who still tells great stories, but has definitely lost a little sparkle since the last time you hung out. The day had some high points, but a few quirks made it one of those “glad I went, not sure I’d rush back” kind of experiences. Grand Lux Café – Galleria Edition: where the appetizers and desserts are out here doing the heavy lifting while everything else just kind of…shows up for attendance. The good first: our server Matthew (pretty sure that was his name) was on point the entire time – attentive, helpful, and easily the brightest part of the visit. The appetizers and dessert reminded me why this place used to be a go‑to spot; they came out hot, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you decide to fight Galleria traffic for brunch or dinner. Now for the “adventure” portion of the day: The parking -Between the congested mall traffic, the nearby construction, and everyone circling like musical chairs with SUVs, just getting into a spot felt like a side quest nobody asked for. By the time we actually made it inside, we’d already survived one full level of the game.The wait time didn’t help either. Even though the app suggested reservations weren’t really needed and showed plenty of availability, we still ended up waiting over 40 minutes to be seated. At that point, it felt less like “no reservation needed” and more like “surprise, you live here now.” Energy-wise, the vibe from the host stand and some of the staff felt a little underwhelming. Not rude, just low‑battery. Hard to tell if it was a long shift, short staffing, or just a “let’s get through the night” mood, but it didn’t match the kind of warm, upbeat atmosphere this place used to have. As for the main event: the food and drinks were…fine. Not terrible, not amazing, just ok – which is almost more disappointing when you remember how good it used to be. The alcoholic beverages landed in the same category: drinkable, but nothing that made me want to take a picture or order a second round on purpose. Overall, it feels like Grand Lux has lost a bit of the magic it had in the past – the atmosphere and food just don’t quite hit the way they used to, especially when you factor in the parking chaos and the unexpected wait. With so many options in the area, this experience definitely made me think twice about choosing this location again unless it’s specifically for appetizers, dessert, and a very patient mood.

Born and raised in Houston but never ate here until recently. It was because I found out they're closing! Everything was so fresh, out waiter was attentive, funny, and down to Earth. The wait to sit was a little over 20 minutes for 2; it seems they were short waiters/waitresses because there were tables still empty. I really wish they would reconsider keeping this location over Cheesecake Factory; the food is definitely better. Not pictured: ordered a dozen of their chocolate chip pecan cookies to go and they were fresh and good too.

We had lunch there today and seated at the bar. It’s a very large, beautiful restaurant. The service was good. Jessica took care of us. The food was good but I felt it was a tad pricey for lunch. It’s not chef quality but I would consider it fair. Plenty of free parking in the shopping center. Overall a food experience. Btw I ordered the Bento Box Chicken Supreme for $19.95. Best part was the mashed potatoes. The menu is expansive - I’m sure there must something else I would like. Overall it was pleasant experience; simply not as delicious as I would have preferred.

So long to one of my favorite restaurants in the Galleria area Grand Luxe! Always delicious food, clean dining, great wait staff and affordable pricing. I have spent many years here since 2015 after church, brunch, celebrating proposals and etc. to name a few. Hate to see you go. Another part of the Houston legendary restaurants sadly gone like Kim Son and PF Chang's. Thank you for all the amazing food and times spent. Many blessings to your future.

Always SUCH a wonderful experience! The Lemon Chicken Piccata was superb! HIGHLY recommend getting your last bites in before they close on January 24th! If Don H. is your server, you WILL NOT be disappointed! Please make it out while you can! Grand Lux Cafe Houston, YOU WILL BE MISSED!

We had a company luncheon here that lasted 2 hours. The food tasted great and was hot but the waitress was inattentive and very slow. I drink a lot of tea and my glass was only refilled once in that time, and I had to ask for it. Used plates were also left on the table too long until they couldn't be ignored. It's the worst service I've experienced at this restaurant.

While I have dined at Grand Alix in the last, and it's a lovely dining experience, I recently ordered to-go from them, and I was quite impressed with the order. This was a late night order, probably 30min from close, and everything was prepared in a timely manner, the ingredients were fresh, and the food delicious I have always been impressed with the portion sizes at Grand Lux, and I was curious if those same portions would translate to a to-go order. They absolutely did. The to-go attendants and chefs even thought to add a few slices of their complimentary dinner service bread with nicely packaged butter packets. They thought of everything from silverware to separated components so things wouldn't get soggy. Definitely consider them next time you want to eat out. As far as Galleria area restaurants this one actually has decent parking, a lively yet sophisticated atmosphere, great service, and incredible food. Some tips: If you like salads, their Crispy Avocado Salad is not only healthy and hearty, but it's also one of the most delicious salads I've ever had. The honey lime dressing is incredible. Cheers!!

I had dinner here with friends and it was a wonderful experience! Phillip D. was our server and provided outstanding service from start to finish. We stayed for almost three hours since some friends arrived late, and he was so patient and attentive the entire time. We tried several appetizers—the crispy calamari and buffalo chicken were both delicious. Our drinks (smoothies, tea, margaritas, and more) were great as well. Phillip really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and enjoyed our evening. It was my first time here, and I will definitely be coming back!

Has it ever happened to you that you want to order something different, but always end up getting the same dish? Well, that's me !! For some many years when I come here I order the Spicy Ginger Beef., it's always good, I love the flavors. The Grand Lux Cafe's menu is huge! You will find the Ginger Beef under the "Foods of the World" . Love the Strawberry Lemonade. And for dessert, I would recommend the New Orleans Beignets. Delicious!!! The restaurant, I will say it's casual , the service is good. Enjoy!!!

It's been a long time since I've been to Grand Lux Cafe. Went for a family dinner to celebrate a special graduation. The service was amazing! They were able to handle so many questions and requests for our party of lucky number 13. The food was okay. Salads were fresh. My salmon three ways was okay, but not hot and the flavors were off. Would not get this again. Key lime pie which I shared with two others was also okay. My sister-in-law did not like her tiramisu in a cup. For the food, I would give it a three, so I wouldn't come back, but the service was five star.

The food at a Grand Lux is far more casual than the decor. That's true anywhere. I came in on a quiet Wednesday evening by myself and got a table in the bar. The waitress was prompt and friendly. The food and drinks were good. Casual good. I got the Jambalaya. Atmosphere is kinda fancy kinda kitchy, which is what you'd expect.

Grand Lux Cafe has a long standing in Houston. I had not been in a while. The food is good. I had the ribs. Drinks are good but a little watered down. It is LOUD. Service was not good...slow, inattentive.

For longest time I thought Grand Lux Cafe was an adult entertainment center. I drove by dozens of times. I just never stepped in. Yesterday, my friends from my toastmasters club decided to eat here after the meeting. Getting here was no problem. There was about an hour before closing. The waitress was friendly and never rushed us. I ordered Chicken Lettuce Warps because I'm on the keto diet on Mondays. I drank water with no ice. It was perfectly room temperature. My friends ordered variety of dishes. The atmosphere was so grand. I see the decorator did a great job making this place looking like very high end restaurant. Food prices were reasonable for the Galleria. The dining room was huge to accommodate groups. So did the tables, which can be arranged to get a group to sit together.

Arriving late in Houston on a Thursday night through a crazy thunderstorm was nerve racking. Thankfully, we had just the place to eat and relax! As it was late, service was efficient and prompt. The food was good and the place was nice and quiet. I've come to know Grand Lux is typically busy and not peaceful.

Terrible experience . I walk in at 3pm , it's kinda busy but there is no hostess anywhere . Three other people waiting with me no one even knows how to get a table then there is these people when walking in rushing up to you begging for money it's all too much. Never ending up getting a table I waited there 10 mins and no one cared to show up. This place has gotten too ghetto don't go here anymore

We had a big party celebrating a birthday. It was a Saturday and I expected more people at the location. This restaurant is owned by the same company as Cheesecake Factory. The ambience and style is the same as Cheesecake Factory. The menu items are similar as well. The food was good but was slow to come. I got the buffalo wings as an appetizer for the table and garlic shrimp pasta as my entree. Both were satisfying. There were several large parties which made up for the bulk of the population at the restaurant; nevertheless, our server was very slow and seemed impatient anytime she came to the table. They don't take reservations on Saturdays and Sundays but again even with our party of 13, the wait didn't exceed 30 minutes. It was also a big night at rodeo so this may have had something to do with the crowd being low. I recommend it if you're in the Galleria area and is starving but it's not a place I'd make plans to go back to.

Sat at the bar for an evening dinner. The bartender was very entertaining and attentive. My food was just okay. I've been to other Grand Lux Cafe in different states PA and NJ this one does not live up to those two in comparison. I was ultimately surprised by the quality of the food. Drinks were delicious. The chicken parm was just okay. My date enjoyed his meal which was the shrimp and chicken pasta. The bathroom was being renovated I believe and definitely made me feel uncomfortable using it by the appearance and cleanliness. I doubt I'll ever give this location another try.

Nice greeting at entrance. Good service our waiter was very kind and checked in on us to ensure everything was going well. My friend had chicken and pancakes she said the pancakes was so very good. Another friend had chicken and Waffles and she said it was good. The Cobb salad was ok the chicken was very bland. The special salmon was ok the salmon was very bland, no season in the rice, the mushrooms were can not fresh product. The lemon sauce made everything tasteful it would be better to have a bit more lemon sauce. The inside restaurant looks very pretty and clean with a great amount of tables for guests.

it took an hour to get brunch from the brunch menu because supposedly there was no pancake mix. Manager has terrible customer service skills. Communication overall poor.

we were in the Galleria area and wanted salad so stopped by Grand Lux. It's been a while since we've been to Grand Lux and i'm still not sure the difference between Grand Lux and Cheesecake Factory. we ordered the fish and chips, the farmers salad and the appetizer chicken tacos. complimentary sourdough bread was given - which came our fresh and hot! the salad was good, large portion with lots of ingredients and good flavor. the fish and chips were decent, again good portion size and decent flavor. the chicken tacos took the longest and were a large appetizer portion and were decent. the price was a bit expensive but the portion and flavor were good

The restaurant is nice. When I first arrived the wait was approximately 15 minutes which was great. The taste of the food was good. There was 2 issues I noticed the tables were not getting cleaned quick enough to service your guests so that might have been due to being short staffed. The other issue was that I asked for syrup before my order came out and it was never brought to the table which resulted in the waitress advising me that they were out at the moment and it might not be made by the time I finish my meal. The manager was advised and he brought the syrup out immediately. Please know that customer service is everything and all the waitress had to do was check before giving incorrect info. Overall it was nice and I'll visit again

I was in the mood for a Ahi Tuna sandwich, and it was getting a little late. I ordered from Grand Lux on door dash, and also got something for lunch the next day. I believe when ordering food to go it's better leave the sauces in the side so the bread doesn't get soggy. However the tuna was fresh and it still was a good tasting burger. It came with regular fries. The Indochine bowl was ok. I would have liked more depth in the flavors for a bolder taste and more spice. Door dash did not give me the option to change the rice for this bowl, I would have rather brown rice instead of white.

I was really excited to find out there was a Grand Lux Cafe so close to home as this restaurant is pretty popular in Las Vegas. It is a "sister" restaurant of the Cheesecake Factory, so it has a very similar vibe. The restaurant seemed to be large & was very pretty based on what I could see from my table in the bar area. The hostesses and our waiter were nice & friendly. I really appreciate the variety of options offered in their menu. I thought my drink was good and our appetizers were really unique & yummy! As far as our actual entrees go, they were very average. Not bad, but not great either. I think the price for these few pieces of steak with French fries is way too high. Everyone in Vegas raves about the beignets so I was excited to try them, but they weren't anything special and neither were the sauces they were served with. We'd visit this restaurant again, but it wasn't worth the drive for us to this location. If we do come back, we'd just order drinks and appetizers as those were the best.

We came in to celebrate my friends birthday, it was my first time dinning here. We were a party of 9 people. Before I talk about the food, I'm going to talk about the service first. After we ordered our cocktails, about 15 min go by I ask our server if this restaurant provides any complimentary bread? His response "We provide bread to those who ask for it." I responded "okay, can we have some bread please?" As a server, you see we are a bigger party and you know we are celebrating a birthday, would you not think to offer bread when we arrived and ordered our drinks? Another 10-12 minutes pass, I'm pretty hungry so I grab the servers attention and ask "excuse me, did you hear me when I asked for bread?" His response "Yes, I'm just getting more important things out right now." And then he proceeds to hand us our cocktails and then goes and grabs the bread. I found that response to be Rude, to tell me "there's more important" things he's grabbing when he could have just said "it's coming out shortly." Now for the cocktails, me and the birthday girl got sangrias. They were okay, it tasted a bit bitter, like that bitter pre sliced apple taste. The sangria was not my cup of tea. However...... the expresso martini 10/10! It was really good, one of the best expressos I have ever had! For appetizers, we ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls with ranch. They were good, I think they could be a little more crispy and the filling a bit more chicken, but a solid appetizer. The inside was pretty cheesy/creamy. The ranch served with it was great, I love me some good ranch. Now, I'm going to break down the my plate and some of the plates the people in my group ordered and I had gotten to try. I ordered the Madeira Chicken, which comes with a mushroom Madeira sauce, topped with asparagus and served with mashed potatoes. The chicken and mushroom sauce was so good and the mashed potatoes were so buttery and garlicky! It was really good and portion was big! I couldn't finish it, so I packed it to go. But wait? I just remembered, what about the asparagus? I looked at my plate, there was maybe 2-3 of the tiniest pieces of asparagus I had ever seen. I did not take a bit of any asparagus before I packed up my plate. That was disappointing, I love asparagus. The birthday girl ordered and let me try her Chicken Royal. Breaded fried chicken in white wine sauce served with veggies and mashed potatoes. The chicken could use more seasoning, it was a little bland for my liking. But the dish was solid. The "Beef Wellington" was........ interesting to say the least. The last thing we expected when our friend ordered this dish was for a plate of sliders to be brought out. This "beef Wellington" was nothing but steak patties topped with puff pastries. Nothing about this gives beef Wellington! He said the meat was good, but.... Come on now? I got to try the spicy vodka pasta from a friends plate. It was good, definitely spicy! Had a nice kick to it. If you're in the mood for a good spicy pasta I would recommend this, it also comes with Italian sausage with it. But the star of the show was, THE CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN!!! I was told by my friend who ordered it that this is the only thing she gets when she comes here and I see why. The chicken is seasoned perfectly and the gravy that comes with it is so good. Way better than the chicken royal. That paired with the already tasty mashed potatoes 10/10 meal. Over all food and service, I would not be coming back here for dinner unless it's for another birthday dinner. If I'm in the area for lunch, I would consider coming here for the chicken fried chicken and an expresso martini.

I have visited Grand Lux in Vegas and Chicago before. The food at this location was very mid. My salad (Grand Cobb) had a ton of the bad lettuce corner pieces, and my wife's entree (Chicken Royale) barely had any sauce or flavor. The baked cookies for desert were the hit of the meal.

We ate here after my daughter's graduation. We had reservations & were seated immediately. The restaurant is very beautiful. I ordered a Grand Lux Strawberry Lemonade & Garlic Shrimp. Both were delicious. The table also had Beignets. The beignets were not as good as the ones in New Orleans, but they weren't bad. My overall experience was wonderful. Our server was very attentive & the food was good. Highly recommend!

I came here this past Friday with some friends for my birthday. I must say I was presently surprised. We came during happy hour which is M-F from 4 - 6:30. They have discounted drinks and food. However, you must sit in the bar. My friends and I were able to get a booth in the bar. It wasn't very crowded. I didn't venture into the main dining area, so I can't speak to that, but the bar area, though not a very large area, was pleasant. They have a very extensive menu. We shared an order of the buffalo chicken rolls (no pic). They were really delicious. As my entree, I ordered the "Wood Grilled Market Fish of the Day" for $25.95. It was salmon and it came with potatoes and broccoli. I subbed potatoes with roasted Brussel sprouts ( pic attached). I asked for it medium rare but our server indicated that they couldn't do that since it wasn't sushi grade but said she'd work with the kitchen to cook it so it wasn't dry (overcooked). It came out perfectly and everything was delicious. Our server was amazing with the right level of attentiveness. She gave us a complimentary birthday dessert (pic attached).

I decided to eat here for lunch with a friend. The waitress was good. She was attentive and made sure our drinks were always filled. The cucumber lemonade is awesome. It's definitely worth trying. If you want bread, you have to ask for it. It's not automatically given anymore. Fried pickles were meh. They were really dark (either fried too long or fried in old cooking oil). Fried calamari was good. Shrimp Alfredo was awesome.

This was a breakfast visit. I wanted to try their breakfast since I was out and about. I got the pancakes with scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon & and iced latte. There wasn't a long wait. I sat in the bar area as I dined solo. My food came out fast. Everything tasted good. It was the regular breakfast. I got full with the pancakes quickly lol.

Service is always great . Food quality is ok. I will return as usual with in the yr. Thanks you

Great variety of selections on the menu. Good tastes great and service is always on point. Thankful that we are always quickly seated, even during busy times of the day!

Came for another birthday brunch and everything was good. Everyone enjoyed their food. Its always a good time and we'll be back

The service was slow on a Saturday afternoon which had not been my experience on previous visits. I ordered the veggie burger which was not tasty and came with hardly any thousand island dressing as stated in the menu. The drinks took a long time to arrive and was told it took time to prepare at the bar but even beer was lukewarm when it arrived. We had a party of 12 so I don't know if that was the issue. Another guest's food was incorrect. Overall, it was not the best experience celebrating a birthday. The waiter however was extremely nice and would love him to serve me at future visits.

We were told the wait was 30/35 minutes but we were seated in 10 so that was awesome for Mother's Day brunch. Alex, our server was pleasant. We did have to ask for bread but other than that, we were pretty much left alone to enjoy our dining experience. The food was delicious. The scenery always throws me off. Today it was the guy flossing his teeth at the table next to us and the kids running throughout the walkway.

Friday July 11,2025. 11:30 AM. Went with office, A group of five. We were seated right away. Took a few minutes to order drinks, and about 10 minutes to receive them. We then placed our orders. 25 -30 minutes later, our salads arrived, two were incorrect. About 15 minutes later, all but one of our entrees arrived. Before the correct salads were served. The last order took another 10 or so more minutes. I had the chicken with pasta in a brown butter sauce. The sauce and pasta were cooked well, the sauce was tasty. The 3-4 small pieces of chicken, not even a full breast, was dry and overcooked. I couldn't eat it. Someone else had asked if he could have onion rings instead of fries, he was told they didn't have onion rings. When his burger came out there were 2 nicely fried onion rings sitting on top. Fries on the side. He just shook his head. I don't think we will be back as a group, I won't go back at all.

Everything was good. Not a place I go often but it was a nice vibe. I would recommend anyone going at least once.

I ordered the small plate of nachos with ground beef and the ground beef had zero seasoning. Everyone's food lacked seasoning. I also ordered strawberry lemonade and it was watery. Drinks at the bar taste like juice. Our waitress was nice and attentive.

Steak was perfect.! Good size portions, enough to share and very friendly and helpful service.

Grand Lux Cafe is basically a Cheesecake Factory, but, a much calmer environment even though they are bigger in sq footage. We had an early dinner on Sunday around 4:45pm and there was plenty of parking. After being seated, I asked for herbal tea and they only had mint, which I declined. They didn't have any lattes for my friend so we just settled for water. As for our meals,I got the impossible burger on a lettuce wrap and sweet potato fries. The food came quick and was decent. Nothing stood out about this experience but I also didn't expect it too. It's family friendly and has a variety of options to choose from.

I met a friend for lunch here one Saturday. The parking is plentiful depending on the time you arrive. It was rainy this day and Ives's lucky to get a spot closer to their door. We sat at the bar and had a few drinks that the bartender suggested while we waited on our food to arrive and they were very good. My friend is a vegan and there were options for him to enjoy. We both had a cup of gumbo and a salmon entree. They were very good and filling. We didn't go for dessert as we were pretty full from our meal. They is a large seating area if you so choose to be seated there. I had heard of how good this place was and they did not disappoint. The next time I am in the Galleria area I will be sure to stop in again.

Although the food was "decent", we struggled to give more than 2 stars because of service. For a party of 3 , we were seated , our order was taken and we waited....and waited...and waited some more. At this point 3 new tables have been seated, ordered, received their food, started eating and 2 of those tables were even able to finish their meal and pay their checks....all before we even received an appetizer or drinks. I asked for a manager and one never came. We will not return to the Houston location.

Wonderful service and food. Everything was done right the first time. The environment and music were very relaxing. I'm so tired of noisy, fast paced restaurants where the waitperson doesn't listen. We'll be coming back to the Grand Lux on our next trip to Houston.

Decided to make a reservation and enjoy a few overdue birthday celebrations with friends. Great idea- RIGHT? So we arrive, promptly were seating, and waited for the other guest to arrive. Once seated, our waiter came over seemingly flustered, and sweaty...(*Really- Already off to a great start-NOT). We asked for water, just to have a chance to look over the the menu and catch up on pleasantries. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we flagged our waiter down, he told us he would refill our water, and come back to place our order because he was dealing with another table who were given the wrong order. (*IKYL!!!!!) Ok, no worries, we wait another 30 minutes for him to return, no bread no ETA, nothing - just an out of sorts waiter who obviously needed a smoke break, a nap, lunch or ALL THREE. We finally order, and the food comes our relatively fast- at least it was shorter than the time we waited for the waiter to return!!! And here is where things didn't get any better, but almost immediately worse. Raw chicken!!!! Just floored, and outdone!!! I told the waiter, and he said ("OH") let's just say that was the last straw for me. Will not be returning.

I'm a Cheesecake Factory fan (mainly for the desserts), so coming here seemed like a great idea considering they are the same company. Parking is plentiful in this large parking lot shared with a bunch of other businesses. In my opinion, Grand Lux is the higher end Cheesecake Factory. Yes its a chain, but you can't argue that this place isn't beautiful inside. Customer service is not their strong point at this location. The restaurant was not that full but we had to wait awhile to be seated. Our party was somewhat big, and our waiter was definitely overwhelmed even though we are some of the most chill customers you will ever have. Service was slow and the food came out super staggered. We got some Spinach Artichoke dip to start. It's pretty hard to mess that up, so it was good. A couple of entrees we ordered were the Salmon Three Ways and the Bourbon Street Chicken. I think these dishes had some potential, but both were pretty overcooked and tough to eat. The flavors were there, but it just wasn't executed right. My son got the Grand Lux Burger Melt that was hard as a rock. Fries were solid though. We didn't want to complain about every plate we had, so we just chalked it up as a loss. Overall, this was a big no for me. I'm wondering if this was a fluke, as I have enjoyed the Grand Lux in Vegas. Doubt I will be back.

Enjoyed myself immensely at the Grand Lux Cafe in Houston. Located right across the street from the Galleria Mall, GLC offers some tasty dining options and drinks. Our waiter encouraged me to order an $8 drink from the happy hour menu before it closed, so I really appreciated that $$ saving tip! I had the pork chop with mashed potatoes and brown rice- SO GOOD! The pork chop was thick and juicy. The potatoes were creamy and flavorful; the brown rice was plain but I enjoyed it as well. My partner had the ribs with fries and brown rice. I LOVEEEEE their ceasar salad but they dont do Green Tea martinis here. BUMMER! But they are pretty good. I ate here around 8 or 9 pm. pretty quiet and a LOT of space. The waitress was very kind and service was kind of slow but I just chalked it up to it being near closing. Either way, its my second time coming and i loved it both times

I stopped in for dessert and had a great experience once I found the dessert that was right for me. I started out with the Profiteroles. They are house-made cream puffs filled with vanilla ice cream. Topped with chocolate fudge sauce and whipped cream. The bread was like biscuits, but the hardest ones I have ever seen or tasted. I couldn't enjoy them, so I sent them back. I ended up tasting the warm butter cake. The server didn't give me a hard time and was happy to make sure I had a great experience. The cake is sooooo delicious. I would definitely say get it. The warm buttery vanilla Cake with a rich creamy center, served with fresh strawberries and vanilla ice cream had me savoring every bite. I didn't want it to end, lol! The ambiance is nice. I kept thinking that it reminds me of the Cheesecake Factory and finally found out they are owned by the same people/company. There is plenty of room and they accommodated our large party pretty well.

We met some friends at Grand Lux Cafe and we all had a really nice time for dinner and drinks. This restaurant is big wide open spacious and the food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Restrooms were clean and well ventilated. I highly recommend for any occasion.

I've heard from some good friends of mine and I trust their judgment that this is a fabulous place to eat at and has good food and they feed you well

The food quality has gone down a bit from what I remember. I feel like Grand Luxe used to be a bit of a nicer dining experience but it seems more like a casual family restaurant now. The service was not bad at all but just the overall feel has shifted.
