The veranda at the Grand Magnolia is a lovely place to enjoy an excellent pre-dawn Yirgacheffe while checking your email. While there is adequate hot water in the bathroom sink, I could not coax it above tepid in the shower so passed on a shampoo. The soft bed is lumpy, and the wood splinters in the floor to the bathroom must be avoided. It’s in a lovely old home, but I think I’ll stay elsewhere next time.

This was fantastic business trip lodging. The restored home was beautiful along with the antiques. I loved being in quiet old town in walking distance to some restaurants and the general vibe. In the front parlor I enjoyed flipping through the pictorial history book to get a sense of the area. The restaurant recommendations were helpful. Fried fish at "Bozo's Too" shown Everything was spotless, clean and secure.

The house was lovely and I adored the cats on the front porch. I was a bit upset that I arrived for my three night stay without check in information being provided. I arrived at the house with no one there. I called the number posted on the door and was connected to voicemail. I received a return call fairly quickly and was provided information as to how to access the house and my room (locks are digital). My friend was meeting me the next night so I was also provided the entrance code for her room. After getting settled, I wanted to leave some things for my friend in her room. I used the access code provided only to open the door to find that another guest was in the room! Apparently, the digital codes are NOT changed between guests! This was unsettling given I was alone and would spend the 3rd night of my stay completely alone in the house. I realize this may be a Chicago mentality, but it made me feel unsafe. There is no breakfast (other than some snack bars and fruit in the kitchen) and no housekeeping. There was plenty of water bottles and ice.

Big oak trees welcome you to this beautifully renovated home featuring comfortable themed rooms. The courtyard, front & back porch, and common areas are spacious and mindfully designed. I was welcomed with refreshments & the sound of birds! My room was facing West & the view of the sunset was not comparable. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and towels were abundant. Evelyn is a gracious, friendly host. I would highly recommend this location.

I was there for a wedding anniversary dinner for family and it was great.

I would not recommend working with Amy or Richard. The weekend started off by us having to wait for 2 extra hours for our rooms to be ready even though they were stated to be ready at a certain time. The following night a gas leak occurred in which I had to call the fire department myself because the owner nor “innkeeper” could be reached. The fire department confirmed & disconnected the gas line from the stove. All of my family & guests had to be evacuated for about 2 hours at 1am as we rented the whole house for 2 nights. I still did not hear from the management until 9am the following day, my wedding day. Neither Amy or Richard deemed it necessary to meet with me at all throughout our trip even though there was a gas leak. There were hiccups with ceremony that they tried to say I didn’t tell them necessary details so I kindly sent screenshots of the exact conversation that in fact did occur. My chairs made it there at the end of the day but the communication & commitment to your wedding will be subpar with these people. No prices are ever itemized so what you’re actually paying for is a mystery. I requested a refund for the night of the gas leak & they decided to “wash” it all because we supposedly owed more money toward the consumption rate for beer even though it was set for higher than the amount of people showed. I will never know the actual cost as a count was never provided for me. Since this they have decided to cease contact so the property the staff locked up the night before we packed up & was not allowed to retrieve, will also be a “wash”. So all in all, between missing property, severe lack of communication, & terrible business etiquette, I would never recommend the grand magnolia ballroom for a wedding.

What a “little gem!” (Southern gardeners will get the reference). Lovely room in an historic house with modern comfort. We came for a performance (Alabama Troubadours) at the Grand Magnolia Ballroom and booked a room so we wouldn’t have to drive home after an evening of music, and were delighted with the accommodations. Safe (across the street from the police station!) quiet (despite the police station) and a great way to get off the grid for a few hours. Very comfortable bed, nice large room and plenty of hot water for a great shower. We have tickets for Sonny Landreth in a couple of months and will book again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Magnolia. It was everything we hoped. It would be. Charming room, very good service, very comfortable, and perfect location. The breakfast was exactly has advertised - not a bed and breakfast, but a nice continental breakfast with very good service and exactly what we were looking for. I wanted to give my girlfriend's first trip to Pascagoula to be a nice feel for the charm of the town, and this was perfect. Highly recommend. By the way, my one hesitation was the fact that they do not have a front desk. This turned out to be no issue, as they were quick to respond when I needed help.

Yelp
It's always amazes me how a venue has no handicap amenities except in the bathrooms. The entire process of going in is an unorganized an unsafe for someone with a cane... not to mention the dude in a wheelchair gobbled up by the crowd. This group is all middle age or older. Why the owners choose this chaos is baffling. There was a tent for the bar, but with all the rain of late a tent for waiting guests would have been nice as we waited in mass in a thunderstorms. It's an attractive venue on the small side. The seats a terribly uncomfortable and entirely too close for grown adult The staff was curt an abrupt as they were adding chairs for the event. It was a basic mess with bad vibes. Freezing the entire evening. We had to leave it was so uncomfortably cold. The parking lot is a tripping hazard. Big broken pieces to navigate with pot holes. I'm extremely excited to see the performance tonight and this is no reflection on the artist we came to see.

Yelp
This place is NOT what it advertises. First, they claim to offer a continental-style "light breakfast." That would have been fine. However, that is not what was offered. Instead, there was a pot of coffee and some packets of instant grits. There is absolutely no maid or housekeeping service whatsoever. Three days of wet towels because no one ever changed them, or made the bed. In fact, when we arrived in the room, someone's candy wrapper was still on the nightstand. I took a photo of it. The website also failed to mention that it is adjacent to the train tracks, so all night long you get to hear trains go by (along with their whistles). This regularly recurring event shakes the floor and bed several times during the night. The website also does not explain that the "Grand Ballroom" is across a very tiny courtyard from two of the rooms, so for two nights in a row we were forced to deal with noisy people partying and smoking in the courtyard, their shouts and cigarette smoke wafting up to our room. We couldn't sleep until after midnight both nights. Not once did we see any owner or manager. It's a shame that such a beautiful house is run by people who have no idea what hospitality means.

Yelp
Quaint, quiet, lovely Boutique Inn...Wrong!!! Old home that you could hear almost every noise being made inside and out. Booked a 3 night stay. Second evening they held a class reunion in a large dining room just below our guest room. (Guest suites are big rooms-not a suites) This lasted from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. Constant noise from below. Owner said they thought that all of the Inn guest would be out of the building for dinner. Plus, we were denied access to the kitchen (one of the amenities) during this time. Discovered that they were holding Wedding/Reception in the building right next door the following evening and using the patio right outside our guest room for the reception. Choose not to stat and checked out. The Inn owner also owns a restaurant and catering service, and hold catered events in this Inn/Facility.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! So beautiful and comfortable. It was beyond my expectations and we will most definetly be returning for many more visits. The staff were awesome; especially Ms.Evelyn. Evelyn was friendly and made sure we had what we needed. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place

Yelp
Lovely, grand old lady of a place. We enjoyed are our here. What a beautiful, historic place to rest your head. If you like a well done, vintage vibe with gorgeous fixtures and furnishings you will appreciate this place. It's not a bed and breakfast, think of it as an old fashioned small town Inn with some tastefully done snacks throughout the day. Quiet and comfortable suited us just fine!

Yelp
This venue was completely irresponsible and had zero COVID social distancing or safety measures in place. They allowed a wedding party much larger than what could fit in the venue space. They have no care for the safety of their patrons or employees. They allowed buffet dining. Do not book this venue if you care about the health of your friends and family.

Yelp
The place to stay in the Pascagoula area. Suites in a beautifully restored historic building in old downtown. Owned and run some very nice people.

Yelp
The building is gorgeous! BUT, where's the service? This is a bed and breakfast - without breakfast! And no one serviced our room at all - we were there 5 days. Make the bed, empty the trash, vacuum? Not once. Such an incredible shame considering how beautiful the place is.

Yelp
This B&B was beautiful and comfortable and clean and luxurious and friendly and convenient and well-located!! Amy and Evelyn were so gracious and outgoing. You can't go wrong here. Rhonda and Scott

Yelp
I had a great time at the Grand Magnolia. My King Suite was beautiful and cleaned everyday. (I asked them not to change my towels because I felt it was a waste to change them everyday). Although not officially a bed and breakfast - but a guest house- there was coffee every morning as well as some fruit and asst items for breakfast. There were also always snacks around - home made brownies or cookies and cheese and crackers in the afternoon. I cannot emphasize enough how beautifully renovated the house is. It's kind of in the middle of no where but I recommended this place highly and look forward to the next time I'm in the area to have the opportunity to stay here.
