We loved our stay at Basildene Manor! From the time we checked in, all the staff were so friendly and helpful. This was our first trip to Margaret River and the lady on reception sat down with me after we had checked in and talked me through a map of Margaret River, recommending places to visit and restaurants to go for dinner. ||Our room in the main building was lovely and we enjoyed breakfast as well as the cake served for afternoon tea. ||The hotel is set in beautiful gardens and you can’t help but relax!||Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely, relaxing 3 night getaway for our 40th Wedding Anniversary just before Christmas. Everything about this accommodation was great. Lovely clean spacious king suite with bath, the breakfast included was excellent, homely afternoon tea on offer every day, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens were beautiful and provided a peaceful vibe. Location was great. Close to the main strip in Margaret River and close to local wineries. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Accor Basildene Manor is an incredible experience for anyone and everyone. This early Western Australian Mansion oozes Historical Character and Charm, Set amongst lush English Style Gardens and magnificent trees. The Location is fabulous. I often visit this resort just for its proximity to world class Surf and there are plenty of reef breaks to choose from close by. |Margaret River area itself is renowned for its vineyards, exceptional foods, restaurants and wines. As well as the quaint querky friendly atmosphere, the weather, and cosmopolitan culture.|Love it, Love it, Love it.|I must also mention the facilities at the resort are excellent, friendliness and accommodating helpfulness of the staff and management are wonderful.|Thank you for another pleasant stay.|Paul

A lovely historic house set in beautiful gardens. Room was cosy, nicely decorated and very clean. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, especially Ally, who never steered us wrong with her entertainment & dining suggestions. The breakfast is delicious, hats off to the chef. We highly recommend the smoked salmon omelet & pancakes, light & fluffy. A homemade cake is prepared every day for afternoon tea for guests to enjoy & we did! On our last day, we were gifted scones, butter & jam for our journey. How nice is that! The hotel is in a great location close to the shopping strip & restaurants as well as Voyager Estate & Leeuwin Estate Wineries. We had a fabulous visit to the Margaret River and look forward to a return stay at the wonderful Basildene Manor. |Thank you again to the wonderful staff, Sally

We stayed at the Manor from 31st Dec to 7th Jan 2026 and it was one of our best holidays. If you want a peaceful break from the rat race this is definitely the place to stay. The grounds are beautiful, with bbq facilities a pool and tennis courts. The rooms are all luxurious and the staff always willing to help if you need something. The manor is located a quick 3 minute drive from the main town so you are close to everything without being caught in the constant movement of people. If you are lucky enough to get the Champagne Room, as we were, it will take your stay to a whole other level of heaven. I want to send a special thank you to Allie and Megan for their extra special care although all the staff deserve to be acknowledged for their excellent service as well. If Margaret River is your destination then there is no better accommodation then Basildene Manor.

We were so delighted by Basildene manor. I originally found it here on Trip Advisor. But it’s even more delightful in person, so quant and charming. Will recommend to anyone we know headed to Margaret River. It’s a B&B with lush grounds, a pool and so many birds. If you are lucky you will also see the kangaroos. The only thing I will mention is that it’s a long walk to town. But we didn’t mind driving.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the presentation of the rooms is immaculate and the house keeping staff keep it so day after day. The breakfasts and afternoon tea cakes are great. The pool and gardens are a great place to relax. Been fortunate to stay in some great places in Australia and overseas, as far as feeling calm and relaxed - Baildene Manor ranks with the very best of them.

Basildene Manor is beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous, recently renovated and spacious. They all have balconies or outdoor spaces. There’s a lovely pool and BBQ facilities for guests. It’s a 3 min drive or 20minute walk to the Main Street. |The staff are amazing, very knowledgeable, always willing to help, provide recommendations and any assistance you need.
