Grand Mercure Basildene Manor Accor Vacation Club Apartments

We stayed at the Manor from 31st Dec to 7th Jan 2026 and it was one of our best holidays. If you want a peaceful break from the rat race this is definitely the place to stay. The grounds are beautiful, with bbq facilities a pool and tennis courts. The rooms are all luxurious and the staff always willing to help if you need something. The manor is located a quick 3 minute drive from the main town so you are close to everything without being caught in the constant movement of people. If you are lucky enough to get the Champagne Room, as we were, it will take your stay to a whole other level of heaven. I want to send a special thank you to Allie and Megan for their extra special care although all the staff deserve to be acknowledged for their excellent service as well. If Margaret River is your destination then there is no better accommodation then Basildene Manor.

We just had a 3 night weekend getaway to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We were even given a little acknowledgment for our anniversary, which was a lovely gesture. The king suite with bath was lovely. Nice and roomy and clean. Serviced everyday. The daily breakfast was plentiful and excellent and the staff were always happy and friendly. We loved the beautiful and peaceful garden surrounds. Overall we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a deluxe stay down south.

We had a lovely, relaxing 3 night getaway for our 40th Wedding Anniversary just before Christmas. Everything about this accommodation was great. Lovely clean spacious king suite with bath, the breakfast included was excellent, homely afternoon tea on offer every day, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens were beautiful and provided a peaceful vibe. Location was great. Close to the main strip in Margaret River and close to local wineries. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Basildene Manor is a truly unique accommodation option located on the edge of Margaret River. The manor was completed in 1912 and has been lovingly restored. Eating our freshly prepared breakfast in the conservatory that overlooks the expansive gardens was an absolute delight. Glimpses of the tennis court, pool and duck pond complemented the sweeping lawns colourful garden beds and magestic trees. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff who provided us with excellent suggestions for dining and sightseeing options. We would love to visit again.

I stayed in the Hermitage room for a few nights as my daughter was getting married nearby. It was such a beautiful place to retreat to. I was then able to gift the newlyweds a few nights after the party had all gone home, as it was a four day event. They were able to rest in the luxury and peace of the beautiful Baseldine. They too stayed in the Hermitage room and absolutely loved it.

We stayed for 2 nights at Basildene Manor in Margaret River and had an incredible experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, making us feel right at home. Our room was immaculate and truly top shelf, with every detail carefully thought out. The grounds were absolutely breathtaking — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the region. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Margaret River. The only reason I put 4 stars for service was because they had no ice available. In accomodation in the wine region I feel ice being available is essential for all the goodies we came back with.

Basildene really is a special place. Upkeep is immaculate and the gardens are truly special. Big thanks to all the staff who were as always about as good as you can get. I had twisted my ankle and they arranged for a change of room to a downstairs room so I wouldn’t have to use the stairs. Thankyou and very highly recommended

Fantastic place to stay with super attentive staff and a fantastic heritage location with amazing gardens. Don’t miss the scones and breakfast is great. The team will put together a BBQ pack for you, grab some local produce and wine, and use the BBQs by the pond for a fantastic option to eating out. Luxury.
