The location is very good to go to Coex and Apgujeong. When I entered the hotel, lobby is luxurious and sumptuous. I was obssessed with the hotel atmosphere. Also, the room I booked was very antique, clean and spacious than I expected. The staff were friendly and professional. I requested a quiet room and the front team reflected it well, so I was able to relax comfortably. When I come back to Korea next time, I'm willing to revisit. I'd like to recommend it to my friends and family.

With a hotel of brand name, there is already a certain expectation, and I can say with confidence that it lived fully up to its name. I travel often across Europe, and I truly appreciate the level of quality and value I find in Korea. Rather than writing at length about how beautiful and comfortable everything was — which is already well known — I want to express my sincere gratitude and respect to all the staff. From reception and parking to the restaurant, bar, maintenance team, design dept, and every corner of the hotel, every single staff member was warmly kind, professional, and attentive. The only moment that gave me pause was seeing some children climbing onto a hotel display. The following day, the staff thoughtfully placed a sign there, which shows their kindness, but personally I feel they don't need to be so gentle with guests who lack basic public manners. It was a lovely stay, and I left with genuine appreciation for the people who made it so welcoming.

The premier residence room is spacious, and newly renovated with many thoughtful touches such as the LG styler, usb and usb-c ports, and plenty of storage spaces. The amenities are great as well, large gym, huge indoor swimming pool, and wet/dry sauna. Highly recommended this property!

Very good hotel which is luxurious, well-located and has attentive staff. Room (corner suite 1760) comfortable and spacious. Having the bath in the bedroom next to the bed was unexpected; it wasn't due to lack of space in the suite. Breakfast high quality with lots of choice and excellent staff. Chinese restaurant excellent. Swimming pools were a challenge to use. There is a significant charge even for hotel guests to use the outside pool and it needs reserving, which is a shame and the indoor pool requires a swim cap which my daughter tells me doesn't work well with hair extensions, so we didn't use either of them even though we had hoped to do so. Overall, very good hotel and I would stay again.

I recently stayed at grand mercure imperial palace and overall, the stay was great. However, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the check-in process on the day of arrival. Our official check-in time was 15:00 hrs, but we had to wait for over 45 minutes beyond that before we could access our room. We arrived at the hotel at 14:30 hrs but were only able to enter our room after 16:00 hrs. Despite prompting the front desk staff multiple times, we were repeatedly told that the check-in would be completed within 10 minutes. After several rounds of these 10-minute assurances, we were finally informed that it would take another 30 minutes. While the staff member assisting us was very helpful, she appeared to be quite helpless in resolving the delay. Given the inconvenience caused by this extended wait, I would appreciate a reasonable explanation for the delay and appropriate compensation for the time lost. Secondly, we did not receive any prior notice about a water disruption at the hotel. We only found out about this issue upon checking in, which added to our dissatisfaction. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response. Best regards,

This is my third visit. Again I love the lobby, the Penhaligon's toiletries in the guest room and the size of the room for the price paid. But the customer service level is left to be wanting. This is the only hotel in the world(and I have stayed in hundred in all continents) which does not allow guests to even start the registration process prior to the 3pm check-in. At 1.20pm, I was shooed away by the front desk and asked to return at 3pm. All other hotels will allow me to complete the process and ask for a colleague to stow my luggage. She also didn't even acknowledge that I asked for early check-in and was willing to pay 50%.

I stayed at the hotel for three nights with my mom during our trip. Although we were tired upon arrival, the concierge and front desk staff welcomed us warmly with a smile, leaving a great first impression. Both my mom and I are sensitive when it comes to sleeping, but the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable, so we were really pleased. The hotel had a charming, antique atmosphere that’s hard to find these days, and the artworks displayed throughout the property made the experience feel even more special. And also the staff at the café on the first floor were also very friendly, and I loved that cake was served with our drinks. I usually don’t eat much in the morning, but the breakfast was so delicious that I ended up eating more than usual. This time, I stayed in a hotel room, but I heard that the residence rooms have a different atmosphere, so I’ll try staying there next time.

We had family visiting from out of town and overseas, including seniors and small children. The amazingly friendly service from the staff was the standout of our stay. Gabriel in the restaurant was helpful and humorous and helped with special requests for seating and food. Anthony at the front desk was a huge hit with our young nephew, making it a fun experience for him and allowing his parents to enjoy their stay. Also, the selection of food at breakfast was fresh, diverse, and plentiful. We had some non-guests join for breakfast, and the costs was extremely reasonable, far cheaper than we expected for a 5-star hotel breakfast. Lastly, the rooms were clean and modern, particularly the residence-style rooms which include a kitchen and living room area. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take advantage of some of the other facilities like the pool and spa. We will definitely be staying here again in the future, and we're considering getting a membership as well. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Seoul
