Grand Mercure Mysore

While staying at the Grand Mercure in Mysore it was pleasant, and the service was great. The rooms were spacious for two people and the cleaning staff were great. Even if the signs on the room were off, they would ask us if we needed anything extra. There were many options for food in the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet. They had both Indian and western food options on the menu. To get to the floor of our room a key card had to be scanned, which made me safe while staying there. The outdoor area on the rooftop was beautiful and had nice seating areas to relax. For shopping next to the lobby area, they had a gift shop that sold souvenirs and clothing.

My husband and I were travelling with our baby by ourselves for the first time. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Special shoutout to Achumi for going out of her way to help me when the baby was acting out. ||The breakfast buffet was delicious and rooms clean and nice. ||Wonderful service and a wonderful stay! |Only thing I would appreciate is the pool being heated. We were unable to swim during our stay due to the cold weather.

Stayed here during my one of my official trip. The location, amenities and comfort level were top notch. The room cleanliness and house keeping and room service staff showed extremely good hospitality. House keeping staff Kumari has been so helpful in arranging the accessories and amenities needed. I stayed at this hotel for roughly three weeks during a fellowship and I had a great experience. This hotel was easily accessible to so many places. most of the areas I visited in my free time were no more than a 20 minute drive away, and there’s a variety of markets, stores, restaurants, and religious sites to explore that are walking distance from this location. The breakfast was good, the hotel was pretty, and I loved the massage and facial I tried at their spa. There was however inconsistencies with housekeeping in providing toiletries and towels, and we had a problem with our phone for a week or so which meant we had to walk downstairs to remind them, but besides that I enjoyed my stay!

I had an excellent experience thanks to the professionalism and warmth of the front desk staff. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, courteous, and efficient. They handled check-in smoothly, answered all my questions with patience, and made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request—big or small—truly set the tone for a pleasant stay. It's clear they take pride in their work and understand the importance of first impressions. A big thank you to the front office team for their outstanding services..

Five points for location. That's the only positive. The rooms are not maintained well, and basic things as hand towels and floor mats in bathrooms are not provided, citing energy saving measures. Why then provide paper tissues instead? Anyway, the rooms are cleaned on request, so you have to categorically instruct them to clean or else they won't. We also found a hair piece in one of the coffee mugs in the in-room coffee station. The next day the second mug was not cleaned (you could clearly see milk powder residue). How such a crappy service qualifies for eco certification? Add to it the staircase which is stinking as the floor level dustbins are placed there, possibly obstructing safe evacuation in the event of an emergency. Someone from Accor group should do a full safety and cleanliness audit of this place. Lastly, and this really broke my heart: they valet-parked our vehicle in some shady (literally!) area where it got extensively stained with bird droppings. We requested them to get it cleaned and even offered payment but our request was not entertained. Overall, a pathetic experience.

A Comfortable Stay with Exceptional Staff Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment. While the overall experience was positive, I felt the food, although decent, could be improved slightly in terms of variety or perhaps seasoning to elevate the dining experience further. However, the absolute highlight of my stay was the hotel staff. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure guest satisfaction. I'd like to give special recognition to Nirmala, Tanmay, and Cfan. Their helpfulness and professional demeanor truly made a difference and contributed significantly to my enjoyable stay. Their service was outstanding!

Had a wonderful stay! The room was excellent — clean, comfortable, and very well priced. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of tasty options. Special thanks to Mr. Mukherjee for his exceptional service — he personally shared his contact number when the in-room phone wasn’t working, which was very thoughtful. Also, a shout-out to Tapas at the restaurant who helped me choose the perfect dishes based on my taste. Great hospitality overall. Highly recommended!
