My stay at Grand Mercure Mysore was comfortable, though there were a few areas that could improve. The reception lounge had limited seating arrangements, which left guests standing for extended periods during the check-in process. The check-in process was also comparatively slow.|The rooms were well-maintained, clean and pleasant. The valet parking staff were excellent, providing efficient and courteous service. The breakfast and dinner buffet spread was good, offering a variety of options, though not extraordinary. |Overall, my stay at Grand Mercure Mysore was good, with comfortable accommodations and helpful staff. However, improvements in the check-in process and the reception area's seating could enhance the guest experience further. The breakfast as well as dinner buffet also have scope for improvement

Stayed at Grand Mercure Mysore and had a great experience! The hotel is well-connected, making it easy to explore the city. The ambience is warm and inviting, with a touch of Mysore’s charm. The food was impressive, with a delicious breakfast spread that had decent options to choose from. Overall, the place gives off great Mysore vibes, making it a perfect stay for both leisure and business travelers. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here for two nights. The service is excellent. Our server, Sangran, a delightful young trainee was eager to get the food catered to our taste and served with delight. We felt so much at home. Rest of the staff is very attentive, the management resolved our issue quickly and to our satisfaction. Location is central to all the sights We felt the room ( specially the bathroom) is a bit small but very nicely appointed. The pool area and the common areas are pretty and efficient.

This hotel really doesn’t come close to a 5-star hotel. The lobby is nicely decorated, but the rooms are below standard…our bathroom had zero water pressure in the shower! Even sink had low pressure and water tasted bad. No hand towels in the room either. Safe not working. The rooms are small. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and food was good. Staff is nice.

From the moment I stepped into Grand Mercure, I knew my visiting cousins (from Canada) were in for something extraordinary. All details, from the grandeur of the lobby to the smallest touches in the rooms, reflected a level of excellence that is unparalleled in Mysuru. The staff (especially Chaitra & Rakesh) were not just friendly, but genuinely invested in making my booking plus the stay of my international cousins unforgettable. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to every need made me feel very important.||I heard from my cousins that dining was a journey of its own — each breakfast a masterpiece, prepared with the freshest ingredients and served with impeccable attention to detail. The variety of options to every taste, and the service was second to none. The hotel’s spa and wellness facilities were nothing short of indulgent, and every moment there felt like an escape into pure relaxation and rejuvenation (per my cousin). It’s clear that Grand Mercure has mastered the art of hospitality — it’s a seamless blend of elegance, comfort, and personalized service.||What sets Grand Mercure apart, however, is the heart that all staff put into everything they do, they don’t just do their job; they make you feel like part of their family, going above and beyond in ways that leave a lasting impact. My cousins from British Columbia, Canada felt like VIP's every step of their way. Grand Mercure is not just a hotel; it's an experience of luxury, comfort, and impeccable service. I’ll recommend it to everyone I know, and I encourage all to try them out when in Mysuru. Simply put: perfection in every way!

Hospitality : 10/10 Hygiene and Maintenance: 9/10 Room : 8.5/10 Staff behaviour: 10/10 Diner and spa : 10/10 Pool: 10/10 Ambience: 10/10 Me and my wife were on the fence between southern star and grand mercure before booking and finally decided to go with grand mercure. It was worth it. We stayed here for 3 nights (#324) last week. Overall we felt very welcoming and pleasant during our stay, we enjoyed a lot and whole staffs are very polite and always smiling, helpful and makes you feel like you are in your home especially the diner, spa and receptionist at the entrance. Only a very minor issue that annoyed us is , there was a little stain in the washroom commode (room no. 324). Don't want to nit pick but mentioning to help them improve. But apart from that everything was awesome, pool and spa were fantastic and diner was good too. we enjoyed a lot and definitely will stay here only whenever we visit Mysore. Thank you and keep up all the good work.

First of all Google Map doesn't recognize the correct location to this Hotel. From the very beginning it started to be a horrible stay. The people in reception are not welcoming. It seems they are not professionally trained to welcome guests. The rooms are very average. The studio type is very small compared to other hotels. It's very much cramped. Am not sure why there is a glass between the Bathroom and the Bedroom. Feels very uncomfortable even though when there is just a screen between the rooms. Next is the restaurant. It looks there are variety but nothing seems to be of quality of a 5 star hotel. We had a food poison on the check out day. Also, the people in the entire hotel, right from the reception to the restaurant treats guest by their looks. This should not be the case because everyone is paying the same price. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a family or a couple. Strongly not recommended for family with kids.
