"Coming soon, Australia's acclaimed fish butcher Josh Niland and his wife, Julie, are taking over much-loved Paddington pub at The Grand National Hotel—which will become home to his restaurant Saint Peter, with 14 guest rooms attached."
Worth the 10 Year wait!! If you are looking for luxury, the Grand National Hotel is the place to stay. In fact, we didn’t want to leave the room because it was so incredibly comfortable. The staff were exceptionally accommodating - nothing was too difficult. Fine dining breakfast. Location perfect. We’ll be back.

From the moment we arrived the staff were so attentive. The room was so well appointed & super comfortable. Dinner was faultless & the service made it the best dining experience I have had in Australia. All the little touches were so well though out & really made the experience feel so personalised. If it couldn't get any better, then there was breakfast!! So indulgent! A totally memorable stay & we will be back!

Stayed Sunday night. Lovely room. The snack brought to the room was divine. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had, so delicious with wonderful little touches.
A 2 minute walk up to Oxford Street. Great location

Went to dinner at Saint Peter, food is amazing, all seafood utilising about 90% of the fish even the bones have been crushed made to powder and have mugs made, tastes all good, we had the 9 course tasting menu, did not go away hungry, service fantastic explaining all the dishes as they came out.
Highly recommended

We stayed at the Grand National and had dinner at Saint Peter for a birthday celebration. From the time we arrived at the hotel to the time we checked out, the whole experience was perfect.

Probably one the best-designed hotel in Sydney. Great rooms and atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.

Best pub food in the area in my opinion. We have enjoyed several different meals here recently and all have been great. The staff are friendly and it has a nice ambience. Having discovered it we have become regular visitors. We would vote for chunky chips instead of fries and reckon they could do a great Sunday roast.

Absolutely luxurious. And the breakfast is a sumptuous experience in itself.
