Grand Palace Brno

We stayed at the Grand Palace Hotel in Brno and loved the service and atmosphere.|At the reception, a Russian-speaking girl checked us in very quickly, answered all our questions, gave us a map of Brno, and suggested places to visit. We arrived before 3 PM, and she helped us get into our room right away without waiting.|Our room was cozy and nicely designed, with windows looking out onto a small park and the city. It was quiet and peaceful. We had a welcome bottle of water, a Nespresso coffee machine, tea, and a minibar with drinks (for extra charge). The bathroom had a shower, Rituals toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers. Everything was clean and beautiful.|We ate lunch and dinner at the Danube restaurant. The chef cooked delicious food, and the service was excellent. Thanks to Alex for great service!|We also tried the Thai massage. The Thai masseuses were gentle and professional. After the massage, we enjoyed the sauna and relaxation area, which was small but very cozy and nice. The gym and sauna are free for hotel guests.|When we checked in, we got vouchers for welcome drinks, which we could use in the lobby bar or restaurant (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).|Breakfast was very good, with fresh juices, champagne, tasty food, and a coffee mashine. A lady played the piano in the lobby bar in the mornings and evenings, which was very nice.|When we checked out, a young man at reception asked how our stay was, offered us water for the road, and asked if we needed anything else.|We want to thank the whole hotel team for a wonderful stay. This really is all about the location. It’s right near the center square and is convenient to walk around the whole area. There isn’t a place to park so you have to valet your car. But they always had it ready for us when we told them what time we wanted to pick it up. We stayed 3 nights and had a very nice room. The entrance to the hotel is very nice and welcoming. We had friendly service from everyone at the front desk each day we were there. The room was clean and felt comfortable. I thought it was interesting that my room had a bidet and my colleagues did not. She had a walk in shower but I had a tub. So obviously the rooms can vary depending on which one you get. It was a nice touch having the chocolates in the room . There is an onsite restaurant and also a breakfast area in the mornings. We used to stay at the Courtyard but will be returning to the Grand Palace on our next trip to Brno. It was so nice being able to walk to everything.

I have to admit, the placement and interior design of the hotel are absolutely stunning. The rooms make you feel as though you’re sleeping in a palace. However, when it comes to the reception staff… the experience was far from pleasant. They displayed an outrageous attitude and were neither friendly nor welcoming. Thankfully, my family and I were only staying for one night, so we didn’t have to interact with them much. Even upon departure, we politely said goodbye, and the receptionist didn’t even acknowledge us. Overall, a gorgeous hotel with cold and unaccommodating receptionists.

I loved this hotel! It is fantastic that they provide shampoo, conditioner etc that is not tested on animals. This is not common for most hotels. They use the brand Rituals. I hope more European hotel chains will do the same in the future 😊 The indoor courtyard area was beautiful, with a pianist playing lovely music some days. The staff was super helpful.

We stayed at the Grand Palace Hotel for one night and were very satisfied. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff are polite, and the building itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The room was cozy, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay.||We especially appreciated the on-site restaurant, which offers delicious food and a pleasant ambiance. We also took advantage of the spa services — the massage was excellent, and the sauna and relaxation area helped us unwind perfectly.||A great option both for a short stay and for a longer, more relaxing visit. Highly recommended.

Stayed 2 nights with bf. Good location. Nice clean room. Good breakfast. Impressive lobby. Got there at 1:30pm, checked in, left bags and gone out. Got back in at 2:45pm, still your room is not ready yet. Hotel quite empty. On the dot 3pm, the girl walked to us and gave us” Expedia VIP offer “ drinks voucher and key to us. Very cute ! Should’ve been given while we were waiting ! Not when we got room 😂 . Luckily we checked out early so don’t need to ask for late check out. Don’t we dare 😅. May be top in Brno but next time we will try the other one!

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The lobby was beautiful, with a fresh flower smell that made it feel very welcoming. Live music in the morning and evening created a great atmosphere. The location of the hotel is also very good. We really liked the wellness area and the gym. The gym was small but good enough for a hotel. Special thanks to Danylo at the reception. He was very friendly, explained everything clearly, showed us to our room, and gave us a welcome drink. The only minus was the soundproofing — we could hear people in the hallway. We’re not sure if this was just our room or a general problem. Overall, we really enjoyed the hotel and would gladly come back!

Absolutely loved our stay at the hotel! Spacious and spotless rooms, excellent spa with a calming aroma, and a delicious breakfast accompanied by live piano music. The highlight of our stay was a wonderful dinner at the hotel’s Danu B restaurant — truly a gem. Every detail felt thoughtful and elevated the experience.
