9 Best All-inclusive Resorts for Families in the Caribbean

"Fresh from a multimillion-dollar ($27.5 million) renovation, this Montego Bay property emphasizes scale and variety with five pools (including an infinity main pool described as Jamaica’s largest), a children's pool with a water park, 10 restaurants, and 17 bars, plus abundant complimentary activities and entertainment (live reggae bands, kids Olympics, non-motorized water sports, mini golf). Child-care programming spans a Baby Club for ages 1–3, a Mini Club for ages 4–12, and the Black & White Junior Club for tweens and teens. Rooms and suites average over 700 square feet with contemporary decor, private terraces, and hydromassage bathtubs; new suites add private 161-square-foot pools and furnished patios. T+L senior visual editor Taylor McIntyre remarked after a September 2023 visit: "The resort sticks to its name by being truly grand... [It] strikes a nice balance of lively party and serenity, allowing guests to really make their own adventure." - Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman is a New York-based writer and editor who specializes in travel, lifestyle, food, and shopping content. I have a great time at this resort. My fiance and I visited for vacation, and everything was exceptional. Especially Craig Merchant he was such a joy and very welcome. He was very helpful, and made our overall stay and experience a 10/10. I would definitely recommend this resort if visiting Jamaica. Just ask for Craig while your there to make the experience even more memorable.

Here’s a polished, review-ready version of your experience:||⸻||We went to Grand Palladium for a 40th birthday celebration, and there were 29 of us in total! The resort is about an hour from the airport, and check-in was a breeze. The property is very large, so be prepared to get your steps in. Our rooms were nice and the mini bars were restocked daily. We had an oceanfront room that was beautiful and comfortable.||The beach is on the smaller side but clean and enjoyable. There are plenty of pools with swim-up bars, and the bartenders were fun and engaging. The jerk chicken hut was a standout—absolutely amazing!||The restaurants did a great job accommodating our large group, which we truly appreciated. The food overall was good; the steakhouse was excellent, and the Japanese restaurant was also very tasty. Nightly entertainment was just okay—karaoke and similar events—but the coffee shop was legit and definitely worth visiting.||One note: the mixers (orange, pineapple, cranberry juices) tasted different from what I’m used to, so if you’re picky about that, you may want to bring your own.||Overall, it was a solid trip to Jamaica, and I would definitely return.

We've had a lovely stay at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton. The property is beautiful. We had a fantastic experience at the Japanese restaurant with our waiter, Rayon! The kids club girls are absolutely phenomenal and deserve all the raises! The level of detail in the kids club experiences is amazing and my two kids (7 & 5) loved every experience! We also had Shirley for room keeping, and she was absolutely lovely and kept our room super clean and tidy. We had a lovely stay! ❤️

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The Best Bartender in Jamaica! Our group from Sweden visited in November 2025 after Hurricane Melissa. Despite the challenges, Stephen Miles at the Grand Palladium made our trip unforgettable. He is a true mixology artist and the friendliest person. As he says, **"Vacation comes with intoxication and relaxation,"** and he delivered both perfectly. His personalized cocktails and amazing service were the highlight of our stay. Don't leave without finding his bar! Thank you, Stephen

Grand Palladium, is beautiful and grand indeed. Amazing Staff and delicious food - everything to love! We had an fantastic stay at the Grand Palladium Jamaica! We travelled as a group of 14 celebrating a wedding anniversary of 25 years and two birthdays, and the resort handled our large group perfectly, no issues with dinner reservations or service. The Jamaican food in the main buffet was outstanding, so much authentic local flavour. Please keep this up; we can’t stop raving about it to everyone! The Indian restaurant and Poseidon were also top-notch. The staff truly made our trip special. Huge thanks to Anthony Garwood (Groundworker), who greeted us with a smile every day; Dante (Steward) and Shenice (Chef) for ensuring I had ackee made to my dietary needs; Cameila from the Indian restaurant for her warm service; Rakeisha at the main buffet for her continuos care; and Rekeisha at Poseidon, who was a fantastic host and made my birthday lunch unforgettable. Special mention also to Kiwi for leading the best Pilates I have ever had — full of energy and positivity! If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the entertainment. We missed the steel pans and Jamaican show, even though they were listed on the app. More signage or reminders around the resort would help. A daily water-cycle class would also be a great addition. Entertainment options is all the more important given the hotels Remote location! Overall, we’d definitely visit again for the amazing staff, delicious food, and beautiful grounds - book it!

I had an excellent lunch at Poseidon with Sympo (so?) as my server. She is very informative and attentive to my needs. She worked hard to make sure I enjoyed my meal. She suggested the jerk chicken, which was delicious! The atmosphere was nice with a lovely view of the beach and part of the resort. What a wonderful lunch experience.

Ate at the Sumptuori restaurant. Treshana was our server. She was very helpful, courtois and professional. The chef, Jason, also came to the table to ensure everything was going okay. He explained the difference between regular sushi and the uramaki. Everything was amazing. The service was exceptional and the food was great. Definately a return visit is a must.
