This is the most horrible and dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in in Myanmar!!! I never recommend staying there under any circumstances. Cockroaches, dirty floor, everything that is listed, the restaurant, the pool does not work. A complete lie.

1. Extremely dirty. Floor in the room, all surfaces. Spider net on the corners.2. The hotel doesn't have breakfast!!!3. I asked taxi before departure. I was waiting for 50 minutes. Every 5 minutes I asked about arrival time of the car. No information, just smiling. In result I get airport by tuk-tuk.4. Stuff do not have any simple knowledge of English.5. It is possible to change just USD! No any other currencys!!!No Euro, no thb, no any!!!6. Swimming pool is very dirty. Water was green colour.

Locating on the busy road with basement car parking. We stayed in the executive family room on the 27th floor with a beautiful view. The room is large and clean. The bathroom is spacious with a rain shower and bathtub. The water pressure is good and warm. They also have a rooftop bar on and swimming pool. The food at the rooftop bar is nice. The service is good as well. Overall, the hotel is nice and worth the money. But ... the tv channels are not so played well and automatically stopped after a few minutes. The light sockets are cheaply installed and some of them are loose. This should be reviewed and fixed for a five stars standard. Easily accessible to anywhere and the tuk tuk taxi are available just outside the hotel. But since it is situating on the busy road, if you prefer tranquility, the hotel is not advisable.

Very clean rooms. We took the family room and it was perfect for our family of 4-very spacious, nice soft pillows. The pool was amazing-located on the rooftop, it allowed us to have a great view of the amazing blue skies of Mandalay. It was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good-with fruits, omelettes available, local Cuisine-would have loved some pastry-just a bit of sweet. If you are looking for great service this is the place for you. The service was INCREDIBLE. The staff was amazing-all staff ensured that we were comfortable and felt catered to-from the bellman, to the office staff, the General Manager, the restaurant staff…everyone went out of their way to make our stay in Mandalay very special. We would recommend it to families and singles looking for a comfortable place to stay.

Worst customer service hotel in all of Myanmar. I parked my car underground, gave the bellboy my shoe bag. The elevator from the underground parking is closed so have to walk up the drive way to the lobby. The shoe bag did not make it to my room. I asked to see the duty manager but they said he went out. Asked them to check the CCTV and the person in charge of the CCTV room said why did you lose it! Smelt alcohol on his breath during working hours. They said they cannot log into their CCTV because of password error. I don't think they have ever opened it before or know how to use it. Did not get back my shoe, no responsibility from hotel at all. All staff treats you rudely instead of providing HOSPITALITY! Clearly they do not know that they work in the HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.

The check-in was quick as no one else there. The staff were friendly. They took our passports and we had to ask for them back later that day. They didn't seem to know they had them and found them on the reception desk. The room was large with great views of the city. The hotel has been newly purchased, and though it was luxurious, it needs updating in small areas. The breakfast food was good but there were too many staff to guests ratio in the large dining room you felt a bit uneasy. The location isnt quite the city centre. We were unsure we had pre-paid or not and they didn't ask us on check-in so we thought we would pay on check-out like some other hotels. However they rung us at 10pm the night before and asked us to come to reception and settle the bill. We explained that we were in bed ready to go to the sleep, so they asked to come up, which they. They also only wanted cash, so we had scramble around for that. Inexperience? Could be a really good hotel.
