Walkable from Shinagawa Station, though very steep. Staff spoke English. Very convenient 7-Eleven and restaurant downstairs. Rooms were clean, but too hot. During the winter, the whole building is on heat, so an individual room can't get AC. But there was a window we could open and that helped a lot. Beautiful garden. There was a QR code in the room for an AI chatbot that was able to answer many questions about the hotel - very convenient for foreigners.

The room is relatively spacious in Japan. Service is good, the staff friendly and responsive. The property has a beautiful garden which is well maintained. We add on breakfast on 2 days only which is a good spread with high quality food. My only comment is that the fitness centre is way too small with only 2 treadmills, 2 bicycles, 2 yoga mats and a pilate ball.

Large hotel conveniently located only 15-20 minutes from the airport by taxi and also very close to Shinagawa Station so very handy if you want to use the public transportation to get around Tokyo. Room large and pleasant (951). Small but functional bathroom but only shower over the bath. However different shower head settings were great. Usual Japanese standard, hotel spotlessly clean, service excellent. Buffet breakfast very good with both local as well as usual international foods available. Numerous restaurants (Japanese, Chinese, French, Bar type) available in this and the sister Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa which is literally the other side of the lovely gargen that connects the two hotels and a two minute walk away. Overall a very good hotel and base for a short business stay.

Stayed for a week on a work trip. Started with two nights in the Upper Floor Deluxe Twin Room, then moved to an 8th-floor Twin Room because the hotel was fully booked and my week had to be… stitched together. Upper Floor Deluxe Twin: Spacious, comfortable, and the bathroom felt almost luxurious. The ironing board was so tall it could have checked into the room as a third guest. Breakfast came with a garden view and the star attraction: a pancake machine. 8th Floor Twin: Smaller bathroom and only a mini steamer, so yes, I ironed on the bed like a true professional. But the view more than made up for it. Watching Tokyo Tower light up every night felt like a private show. Breakfast was still good, just minus the pancake machine, which was a tiny heartbreak. The surprise MVP of this hotel? The Lixil spa shower head with three modes: normal, massage, and mist. The massage setting saved my back after long days of walking. I talked about it so much I might as well have been their sales rep. You can actually buy it for about 30k yen at the Lixil showroom. Location is close to Shinagawa Station, but I used the shuttle a lot since it rained all week. The area around the hotel is quiet with noticeably cleaner, crisper air compared to the chaos around Shinagawa Prince. There’s a small 7-Eleven in the lobby (daily fruit smoothies became a ritual) and a bigger one at the next hotel. Service was good overall. One front desk lady with short hair didn’t want to give a second keycard, which was odd. Two guests, one keycard. Math wasn’t mathing. Other than that, a comfortable stay.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Overall, the property itself is quite nice: the building has an attractive design, the lobby is welcoming, and the garden area is pleasant. The room was spacious and nicely decorated; however, it was located right next to the elevator, which made it a bit noisy. I wouldn’t recommend choosing that room if you’re planning a longer stay. The buffet breakfast was very good, and it's worth noting that the hotel has three on-site restaurants. The location is decent—convenient enough, though not exceptional. We arrived before the check-in time of 3:00 PM and requested an early check-in, something that has never been an issue at other hotels we've stayed in Japan. Here, it was only offered for an additional fee. We also asked for a late check-out, even just by an hour, but the staff did not allow it. Overall, the interactions felt more transactional than friendly or accommodating. This hotel seems like a reasonable choice for business travel, but not quite ideal for a relaxing vacation.

This hotel was okay and had some great points and some not so great so I am not sure we would stay here again. On arrival we were allowed to check in early as the room was ready. The room is quite small and the bathroom would not suit more than 1 person in there at a time. There was very little room to o put anything in the bathroom and a very high tub that you had to step into to shower. The security lock on the door was broken and the person we told didn’t seem to understand. There are some great points about this hotel as well. It is close to Shinagawa station and has a shuttle to and from the station vicinity. It also has beautiful gardens and a great view out the large window when it wasn’t fogged up on the inside. Bar staff were lovely but drinks are limited for cocktails. Considering we paid over $300 AUD I was a little disappointed in this venue

The entrance and garden to this property are beautiful. It's about a 10 minute walk to the JR shinagawa station. But the walk through the gardens is a great way to start and end the day. Interior lobby is also beautiful and scented nicely with scattered diffusers. The rooms are nicely up kept but a little dated with very thin walls. So long as you have quiet neighbors, it should otherwise be a nice stay! It can be confusing because there are three subproperties with similar names! Like Shin-, Sakura tower, and just hotel. But since they all inter connect then you easily get between them.

The deluxe king room is very spacious, hotel grounds are very nice. Cleaning lady was nice and friendly most days when we'd slept in. It's nice to be somewhere quiet, but the nearby station is large and has many lines, including from Haneda and the Shinkasen. The 7-11 in the hotel is small but handy. There's a bigger one in the Shin variant of the hotel, which we passed through on the way to/from the station most days. Be wary of the "fitness room" as it was just 2 treadmills and 2 bikes, with a gym ball and matt in a windowless room. Thankfully we got our steps in exploring the city rather than in that sad room on a treadmill. Also in winter the rooms are very hot, temp was set at 24c when we arrived and didn't seem to work when lowered. Thankfully the window opened, but then you're subject to outside noise.

Yelp
Last stop of our stay back in Tokyo. This was quite a walk up and down the hill to the station although the atmosphere was beautiful and their garden. This hotel connected to the other Prince Hotels. We got a taste of what each has to offer. Another three bedroom, lol. Tiny bit too tiny. Still spacious. Rooms were much older but they seem to have remodeled the outside and lobby area. Had a gym which was designated on one floor. Kind of disappointed because they had two bikes and two treadmills. How can you get a good workout with no weight training! Thumbs down for me and no pool that I had seen or perhaps I don't go looking for it. It is winter after all! I forgot to mention that all the hotels in their bathroom have their mirrors designed to not fog up your face when you look in the mirror after a hot steamy shower or bath which I would love to have in my home. It is like perfectly squared out so you can still see yourself. Plus for me. Overall stay was peachy and comfortable.

Yelp
At my boss' insistence, we relocated from the Shinagawa Prince to the Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa partway through our week-long trip. She had asked her admin to book this hotel from the start, but her admin had gotten confused. It's understandable: there are 3 hotels that are named pretty much the same thing within a 5 mile radius. If you've never been, it can be difficult to muddle through. Anyway, check-in was quick and easy, with everyone from the door staff to the front desk welcoming us in with smiles. Check-in was a breeze, and before we knew it, we were being escorted to our floor and to our rooms. I don't know what I'd expected, but the room wasn't it. Not that it was bad - far from it - but my boss made it sound like this hotel was the THING, and that we just had to stay there. Again, I had no complaints. The shower was mold-free (and had blessedly strong water pressure), the bed was comfortable and clean, and I had a nice view overlooking the grounds (shared with the other Shinagawa hotel across the way). I got better quality sleep here than I did at the other hotel, though that could also be attributed to my body adjusting to the 16 hour time difference. I did hang out in the club chairs early in the morning, while I FaceTimed with my husband back at home, or worked with the San Diego team before they called it a day. If you stay here, and the weather permits, definitely get out and explore their grounds. Like I said, there's a path between this hotel and their sister one across the way (which I think is also connected to a convention center). There's a large Koi pond, a bell and some structures that look old and probably had a good sign explaining their presence or importance that I totally missed.
