This was our 1st hotel of 2 when visiting the Costa Smeralda, we arrived late afternoon to a humble , small reception area with a warm welcome. |The hotel is immaculate & well kept. We were upgraded to a sea view room with a bottle of fizz on arrival (not sure if the bubbles are standard) |The breakfast was excellent; buffet with à la carte options. There is an all day dining menu which is available everywhere (beach/pool) but for us it could do with some more casual dining options (sandwiches & salads) albeit the lobster linguine was lovely. |Dinner in the restaurant is formal, verging on fine dining, the service was faultless & the food was delicious. We regretted only eating in once. There are of course alt dining options in the local town, some of which we were a very similar price to the hotel restaurant & not as good. |The beach area is tiny but private so never felt busy, the local beach nightclub next to isola Dei Nuraghi was closed so we weren’t bothered by the music guests often complain about in high season. |Overall, we loved it hear, proper old school charm, boutique, spacious & very relaxing. |Would return & recommend if you like boutique hotels.
