Extremely disappointing stay. The rooms are in an absolutely rundown state. The beds were quite literally impossible to sleep in, and the bathrooms were pathetic—there’s really no better word for it. I was first given a room that had visible mould and was extremely damp. After raising the issue, I was shifted to another room, but the only “upgrade” was the absence of a stench. Everything else was just as bad. Attaching photos of the room and fittings from the so-called upgraded accommodation. Strongly advise avoiding this property. To the management: this level of neglect is unacceptable.

Exceptional place to stay. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We stayed in an updated room and it was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was exquisite. Lots of room to spread out and work in the living room area too. Decor was beautiful and appeared well crafted. We would certainly stay here again. Easy walking to plenty of restaurants and shopping. Thank you Grand Residency!

"Firstly, it is a lie that the hotel is fully refurbished. It is not! We were given an old one-bedroom apartment that smelled of sewage. The alternate option, an old studio, also smelled of sewage. The hotel considered this normal and saw nothing wrong with the sewage smell. The lone receptionist on duty was incompetent, unhelpful, and clearly not qualified for the job. We were offered no apology for the situation whatsoever. They were indifferent, telling us that if we didn't like it, other guests would gladly book the room. We decided to check out that same night but were told the hotel would still charge us for one night because we had dropped off our bags earlier through their concierge and simply gone up to check that they were in order. This is truly shocking, considering we had only entered the apartment and left immediately. The hotel has no compassion or empathy for anyone. We are very disappointed, considering we have been regular guests at this hotel for the last 10 years. I would have expected a phone call from the Senior Manager after we checked out the next day. But no one even bothered to call or contact us. No compassion or empathy for their loyal guests. I am still waiting for my refund, even though I paid directly to the property."

Booked via Agoda which the hotel refused to honour. The manager, Mr Tariq claimed to have conveyed this to Agoda but refused to share this over written communication. So I don't know if he actually did or did not. So I only realised I was not getting a room on arrival. Spent over an hour trying to resolve this during which the clueless desk informed me that Mr. Tariq was on his way to the lobby. During this entire ordeal Mr Tariq made no attempt to make himself available or speak to me directly. Preferring to communicate through the clueless receptionists who promised me he was on his way the entire time. Had to corner him at the end when I was on my way out. Pathetic response and absolute cocky tone in dealing of the situation by the manager despite giving them full benefit of the doubt.

I strongly advise against booking this hotel. We recently reserved around 10 rooms for a wedding party and were thoroughly disappointed with the service and treatment we received. The hotel engages in fraudulent practices, such as forcing guests to pay in a foreign currency when using an international card—a policy actively encouraged by the management, who are fully aware of its illegality. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi in the rooms is non-functional. When I needed to log in for work, the management dismissively suggested using the business centre instead. Be prepared: if you need to work during your stay, you’ll likely be directed to do so in a communal area. The hotel was plagued with mosquitoes in the hallways, lifts, and rooms. Despite repeated requests for assistance, I was met with empty promises and dismissive attitudes. Additionally, the room key consistently failed to work, requiring frequent trips to the front desk to have it reactivated. The customer service was unhelpful and rude, showing no regard for the numerous inconveniences caused to our wedding party. Having once recommended this hotel, I can confidently say that its former standards of service are a distant memory.

We had gone to check it out for a long stay rental. While the rooms were neat & spacious and location of the hotel is good, We found the prices to be quite high. Almost at par with 5 star hotels. Perhaps the Management is calculating that the room sizes are greater than a normal hotel room. So in the end we decided to stay in a "normal" 5 star hotel.

Service is good but as they are renovating the rooms it’s nuisance , cant bear the noise Continuous drilling from 9am to almost 7 pm, think twice before booking , we have booked for 11 days , but trying to get out of here asap , prices are like a 5star hotels , our vacation has become a nightmare
