I 'm surprised! Sahid Jaya has its reputation as a heritage hotel, so the assumption was an old and tired facility. But when I first stepped into the hotel, that assumption faded right away as we entered the lobby. Yes, it's old but well maintained and still has its charm. The staff at reception next-level hospitable and friendly. Shout out to mbak Tiwi and mbak Mei, who handled my stay and were very helpful.||The room was beyond my expectation as I came with an assumption of a tired hotel. Apparently, their newly renovated rooms are amazing. Clean simple and spacious. Room service and breakfast taste ok. The variety is great. You can find many options, including traditional cuisines.||I stayed with my family, and the facility is good for staycation. From the moment you checked in, you can get a cup of ice cream and an afternoon tea package (not sure if this is specifically included in my package or for anyone who stays). My daughter played the arcade video game. They have a swimming pool and a children pool. The location is near MRT station and in the heart of Sudirman area.||The staff were the main thing for my 5 Star review. A hotel is not always about the facility, same as your home, it might be not the most luxurious but the people inside make it beautiful.
