This was a very nice hotel, located in the historic district and walking distance to everything.||Our family of six had three different rooms. All had queen sized beds, well equipped bathrooms, and different sized sitting areas. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice views too.||Breakfast buffet in the morning had a nice assortment of options/air conditioning.||The rate we paid was fine.

The Grand Sarai is the perfect choice if you're looking for something special. The room was fabulous, it was spacious and stylish and very comfortable. The view from our room was incredible- it's got to be the best view in town!|The breakfast was delicious with so much choice. The staff in the hotel were really kind and helpful.|I can't recommend The Grand Sarai highly enough!

Great historical listed building in the heart of beloved Nafplio. Happy and kind stuff, great breakfast choices. the single room's WC was quite small but still, the overall experience was great. totally recommend the place

We stayed at Grand Sarai, in the heart of Nafplio’s old town, and our experience was truly exceptional. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful – whatever we asked for, they responded immediately and with a smile. We asked for beach towels, an extra blanket for the room, even a plastic container to take our breakfast with us as we were in a hurry – and they provided everything without hesitation. In fact, when we forgot a Kindle in the room, they contacted us right away and took care of having it sent to us in Athens! The mattresses and pillows were excellent, offering a great night’s sleep, and the building itself is impressive – a beautiful restoration that fully respects the traditional architecture. The view from our room was stunning, and the location is perfect for exploring the old town. I highly recommend it and we will definitely return!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this hotel. It is situated in a perfect spot, looking down over the town to the sea. We stayed in the suite at the top, and enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the views. The room was quiet and comfortable. The only thing that could be improved upon is the breakfast, which was just OK. There is no parking at the hotel, but you can park for free in the road by the fire station about a 10 min walk away. (Just be careful to check where you park on a Tues evening, or you may find your car in the middle of a very busy market when you return to it on the Wednesday, as we did!!)

This is a lovely hotel in delightful Napflio. Christos, at the Front Desk, is excellent, with a perfect personality for a hotel. He is kind, thoughtful, considerate and nothing is too much trouble. The buffet breakfasts were excellent and Marina looks after it so well. The rooms are lovely, comfortable beds and pillows. I spent my last two days here and it was a wonderful way to end my trip.

The hotel room was amazing. There is one thing though, if you are a sensitive sleeper: make sure you don't fall asleep very late because there is a lot of noise in the morning. The church nearby starts to "bang" at 8 am, and closed windows and the ear plugs that they provide (2 pairs) didn't help me personally. The cleaner is loud in the hallways. I could hear the noises of the vacuum cleaner next door. But i still give the hotel 5 stars.
