Wow this store is a must to visit for souvenirs and gifts. The most affordable prices in Times Square. You would think it would be on pricey side since store is located right at Times Square. Make sure to visit lower level. Many key chains for .99c Do not miss this store

Grand slam is your run of the mill times square, gift shop. Stop here for all things you'd expect to buy on a trip to give yo loved ones as a gift that moreso says "look where I went without you." And less I was thinking of you. On the other hand I built the first basketball court in times square right in front of this store. Unprecedented event enjoyed by student athletes and their families at the expense of losing three days of sleep assembling and disassembling the basketball court, decking, and portable hoops.

This store is a scam. They lure customers in with advertising claiming they have tons of products for 99 cents. Technically, they do — but it’s all awful stuff, like ugly keychains. Everything that’s 99 cents is extremely cheap-looking and unattractive. The rest of the products are extremely tacky — I wouldn’t even buy most of them for 10 cents. A few items are decent, but they’re much more expensive than in other stores. The basement is dreadful. Many items are stained or damaged. The security guards and staff are unpleasant. At checkout, apparently “hello,” “thank you,” and “goodbye” aren’t part of their vocabulary. I stood in line for a long time and noticed they didn’t greet or thank anyone — so it wasn’t personal, just consistently rude. This place relies heavily on social media marketing, but the reality is very disappointing. Definitely a place to avoid. There are many other tourist shops in the area with the same products at lower prices — or much nicer ones.

Came here to pick up a couple of last minute souvenirs from our trip. This place is less in-your-face than some of the other gift shops in the area. I was able to find a cute keychain, a mini snow globe, and a magnet. All in all, I am pleased with my purchases. I feel like a lot of the stuff in here is just your typical tourist trinkets.

I was just there and I sat in a corner on the floor while waiting for someone else who was with me shopping I was in no one’s way at all An employee came up to me super rude mocking me and asking if I was sick I said I was waiting for someone else who was shopping and he got even ruder There was no need to be rude He could have politely told me I could not sit there but there was no need for the rudeness We went to Canal St in Chinatown and found so many stores with better deals and they were all really nice. I ordered a custom jersey as a gift, and I am so happy with my purchase! The quality is great. I only wish they came in women’s sizes, that is the only downfall. It arrived within a week of ordering and the price was better than most of the competitors. Overall would highly recommend!

THE souvenir/gifts store you should visit while in NYC. Not only their collection is huge and well displayed but their prices are also cheaper than what you would get at any other roadside vendor or those 'I ♡ NY' gift shops. The quality of things here is also pretty decent. And the best part -- it's right on Times Square. Regardless of what you want -- NY t shirts/jerseys/hoodies, baseball gear, magnets, car stickers, coffee mugs, etc -- you will find it here. Don't think that this store must be overpriced given its size and location. On the contrary, prices are so much better here

This store is a great choice for shopping gifts when visiting New York, especially Times Square. They do have a great variety of products and very competitive prices. The beautiful shirt or sweater "I ❤ New York" is something than you can't miss. The fact that they are plenty of gifts for any member of the family or friends makes this store my favorite. Well located, with easy access, very professional staff, easy payment process are also features of this store. Overall I always have a good experience every time I visit NYC.

NY, NY or specifically Grand Slam New York. Origins of a brown plushie canine named Bruno who has appeared in countless yelp photos over the course of about a decade. When we first met my CM, he said "I've seen that dog everywhere....the Yelp dog." Lol! From memory in the middle 2010s, Grand Slam NY is a souvenir shop with many things NY. Visited here while on a business trip. Don't recall much about the customer service transaction but it was a cool place for NY memorabilia. Writing this review as it was recently Bruno gotcha day. Shout out to my yelp friends that regularly and occasionally greet him warmly in person or online, mentioned him in a yelp check-in, via yelp compliments, and even postal mail. And of course, shout out to Bruno's yelp plushie friends in Hawaii. Grand Slam NY also has the brown plushie doggies online which is also where Bruno's cousin, Uno is from. :)

The security guard there was severely unprofessional. Some body's child broke a snow globe and the security guard started yelling at the family, I don't even know why he was so mad he's only the security guard, somebody who was with the child didn't like how he was talking and an argument broke out, and the security guard threatened the man with a bat and started yelling out derogatory words towards the man. You can say it's because we're in NYC but no child should have to experience such ignorance from a grown man. (The child was maybe 5-6 years old)

just MAJOR My friend and I discovered this shop, in the heart of Times Square, on a trip in 2021. This past March, we were again in NYC and made sure to stop by this terrific store for souvenirs. This place has every imaginable type of NYC souvenir/touristy items you could ever think of: shirts, shorts, sweaters, keychains, coinpurses, mugs, glasses, shot glasses, bags, scarves, gloves, etc. We stopped by this store twice during our trip. Overall, I bought a few bags, stickers, coinpurses, and a small tray adorned with the "I LOVE NY" logo. For tourists in one of the most expensive and largest cities in the world, I thought the prices were reasonable (IMHO). NOTES 1. They take card......and there no fees to use your credit card here (unlike a souvenir shop on 5th Ave that was charging a small fee to use card). 2. They're open late! BOTTOM LINE Great selection, decent prices.

Grand slam located at times sq is jam packed with souvenirs galore, New York clothing, baseball shirts and accessories, mugs, key rings, prints, everything you can think of you will find here and although expensive, there is a discount sale downstairs. I think the staff could be a bit friendlier but all in all, I enjoyed this shopping experience.

My daughter and I stopped by this gift shop to purchase gifts from our trip. We spent around $200, yet the store manager was giving us a hard time about the "1 free keychain with your purchase" that was offered at check-in. He claimed it was an old offer that was posted a long time ago and they didn't have any keychains left. Hello?! It's a gift shop, you sell plenty of keychains!! It's not that I needed a free keychain, but it was the principle behind it. If you can't follow through with an offer, then remove it from Yelp. He ended up giving me a cheap keychain that he dug out of storage in the back, but he wasn't happy about it. His negative attitude lowered the rating a 1-star review. Really lousy customer service! If I had more time, I would've returned everything and gone to another gift shop.

Want a NYC souvenir of any type? Stop here. Located on Times Square right in the middle of tourist traffic. But don't let that stop you from going in. Prices are reasonable. You'll find sale items and items that are priced lower than at other shops. Worth stopping in.

lots of souvenier shops in times square. place was pretty busy. they got your typical tshirts, sweatshirts, hats,key chains, gifting items etc. the kids stuff is soo cute. i wanted a couple keychains but wasnt a fan of the selection they had so i went to another store.

The workers weren't very nice, we were trying to buy a rangers cap, they had one left in the window and the worker refused to open the case to get it.

Terrible product and even worse customer service. Their online store does not show the same product they send. False advertisement. Stay away!!!!

Never again. I've been going here every time I visit NY for the last 20 years. It's been great.. until this rime. The clothing is cheaply made now. But the main thing was the rude employees. I had FOUR different employees either bump into me or act like I was in their way as they were trying to restock. One even stepped right in front of me while I was looking at something to put things on a shelf. Then I go to pay & she didn't even say thank you. So I, sarcastically, go "thank you!"... She just nods at me & still says nothing! Never again.

I placed an order with this company not long ago. I feel they've been putting me off. Communication has been a serious problem here so I'm pretty upset with that. I feel the customer service could be better here. I feel the prices were ok, but other things can be improved on.

Grand Slam New York is a high end sporting goods retail outlet in New York City New York USA providing same day MLB authentic 2024 Nike Limited jersey customizations. GSNY with fast shipping and quality work. I am HIGHLY satisfied with the entire experience of ordering a jersey online from them. They create the authentic MLB letters and numbers for your jersey. I wish they did more teams. But as a big Giants fan I am more than satisfied with buying my custom jersey from Grand Slam New York. The only store other than the official Giants dugout store at Oracle Park or Walnut Creek CA. There are no retailers who offer the legitimate custom jerseys in the states offering them online. Even the Giants store only does in store customizations. And it's 30 minutes wait time same day which is really fast and great service but you have to drive to San Francisco to get it done. I will have to do that for my other jerseys but at least this one was a painless process and the guys were super responsive, quickly. We got a deal done same day and shipped out in 2 hours. Great service. I have to say I'm a happy customer. I plan on shopping here again. No tax and shipping is affordable. Almost Free even for standard. I chose 2 day shipping and my delivery date was scheduled for a weekend day even. Wild. I'm more than happy to recommend these guys to anyone looking for quality sports merchandise customized. I know they do San Francisco Giants, Yankees, Tigers and Mets. They might do other sports too. They may do other teams on the east coast. I'm pretty Grand if you know what I mean, and I know how to Slam. And I'm not talking about LeBron style. Grand Slam is a pretty awesome gift shop right in the heart of Times Square. I'm not sure why it doesn't have higher ratings. Sure they're watching you like a hawk to make sure you don't steal anything but this is a place where a lot of tourists and random people probably try to steal things. I do think it's pretty awesome and not particularly expensive and they have such a huge enormous selection so I'm definitely giving them four stars. If they were cheaper and nicer, they'd get 5.

We'd been visiting a lot of souvenir shops during our trip and had been holding off on purchasing anything. Today was our last day in NYC, so we finally stopped in one a bought a few things. Then after our last dinner we ducked into Grand Slam for my sports-loving kiddo... and found everything we'd just bought at the other place, but for less or better quality. I had assumed that it would be a complete tourist trap due to its proximity to Times Square, but I wish we had made this our one souvenir stop! Will definitely come here again next time we're in town!

Visiting the City and forgot to buy souvenirs? This place is located right in Time Square and has everything you need. From shot glasses, magnets, bags, t-shirts, sweaters, etc. Lots of choices. The prices are fair and they even have $1 section. Can't beat that. Staff is friendly and willing to help you find exactly what you're looking for. They have a lot of options for everybody. Best souvenir shop in Times Square and I swear I went in almost all of them! I made to mistake or buying in the first one I went to and paid $20 for 6 keychains... this place had the exact same keychains for $1 each. The dollar keychains are pretty good quality and so are the shot glasses. They literally have everything you could want in terms of souvenirs here including snow globes, shirts, sweaters, sweat pants, toy cars, picture frames, magnets, etc. If you're reading this and wondering if this is where you should buy, this is place to get all of it. Prices on everything that's not a dollar is reasonable, some places are cheaper but if you only have time to stop at one place, this is it!

I had a blast visiting grand slam today! Even though I had to pay a lot of money for a customized Detroit Tigers jersey, I was able to eventually take it home with me to my apartment the same day I bought and customized the jersey. But although I had a little bit of trouble with the communication with the store employees, they seemed kind enough to help me and even if there was an issue or so, I did end leaving with a happy face and the jersey. So I wanna thank Grand Slam NY for a great customer experience and I totally recommend this store to anyone who comes to New York City and wants a souvenir and/or a customized sports jersey.

This is a three story souvenir shop. Any typical souvenir you're looking for they have it here including sports items like jerseys at standard prices you'd find anywhere else. Random but they sell luggage too. Kinda awkward upstairs there's one guy just standing there by the luggage watching you shop but I know it's to prevent theft. We did all of our shopping here to buy gifts to bring back to California. Check in deal gets you a free key chain, but they choose a few from behind the counter that look like defects and let you choose one. Guess you can't really complain with free. I picked the least defect least ugly one from the bunch. Staff at the register were whatever. Hard to understand their English and they're chit chatting the whole time in their own language as they ring up customers. Overall it's just ok. One stop shop for lots of options for souvenirs.

If you're visiting NYC and looking for souvenirs or new year "swag" to bring back home, be sure to come here. This is located near the Olive Garden on Times Square. Before arriving here my friend and I scoped all of Times Square to find the best deals and this place had it. This place was larger than the other shops and don't have crazy prices. Be sure to go to the lower level to find their 99 cents items. Main floor is where all the main merchandise are. They also had a third floor which we didn't get to go to. Keep in mind to read the tags carefully as some have buy one get one offer, great deal. I was able to find a crew neck for $30, BOGO. If you're looking to change your merchandise size after purchase, be sure to check with the people working in the area you got your merchandise from and bring your new sized item along with the original purchase to the managers at the cash register. They'll be more than happy to make an exchange. It can get a bit crowded as it is located in busy Times Square, but this place is definitely worth the stop.

Located right in Times Square, Grand Slam has a solid collection of everything "I (heart) NY" and its assorted cousins on the ground floor. All the possible thotchkies you could imagine - playing cards, tshirt, sweatshirts, ashtrays, keychains, postcards, books, DVD's, hats, and too many more to list. On the upper floor, sports memorabilia. Some (most?) of the stuff is cheap junk but there are some reasonably priced bargains here and there.

Grand Slam sells pretty much the same things as the other stores in the vicinity, but you can get everything in one place rather than store hopping. It's sort of a madhouse and quite disorganized, but one good thing is that they have a $0.99 souvenir section downstairs. There were some shot glasses, keychains, and other trinkets, which might be worth it for the tourist who isn't trying to break the bank but just wants a small memento. Otherwise, for all other souvenirs, I would head to Canal st/Chinatown. You can haggle and the prices just can't be beat.

A large New York souvenir shop that sells cheap, tacky, and perfect NYC souvenirs. No, you aren't going to find high quality, one of a kind boutique items here. But for Times Square this place is cheap, and has plenty of cheesy stuff to choose from. Postcards, magnets, knickknacks, baseball stuff. There's even a 99¢ section downstairs. Perfect for last minute shopping.

They were very fair prices. Sweatshirts, T-shirts keychains, mugs, sports stuff, I love New York stuff. $.99 items in the basement. I had my daughter do all of her friend shopping there so she could keep to a budget. Done and done! Did my Yelp check in for a free $.99 keychain. I was distracted and left my credit card there and they held it for me, no fraudulent charges. Three cashiers so the line goes fast.

One stop shop!! 99 cent souvenirs are down stairs and much appreciated !! But very very tricky, that's where the put their kids toy selection. If it wasn't for my humble kid taking the first no as the only no, you normally would end up with a few 99 cent grabs and a over priced kids toy! Very disorganized and very over stuffed. There is stuff EVERYWHERE! I wouldn't suggest bringing in anything other than your body because you might bump into and break something. The lady at the counter, polite, but hard to understand, as well i don't think she understood me.

It's my father's 60th birthday this Thanksgiving (tomorrow). A big birthday for anybody, but especially so for us as it's one of the only times in the year our family is able to gather. Since he's a big fan of the Dodgers, we think how cool it would be to get him a custom Dodgers jersey as a small, but important part of his birthday gift (We were going to have him wear it the entire night). Instead of being able to surprise him this year with a custom jersey from his favorite team, I'm trying to get a hold of the owner of this stupid business who decided to put a "30" on the back instead of "60". In addition to that, there's black, greasy fingerprints on the front of the jersey too. Once I finally got a hold of the manager, he was helpful, but their attention to detail is apparently nonexistent and that's unacceptable for custom work. Shop elsewhere.

Grand Slam is the perfect place for cheap souvenirs. They have a whole section under $.99 downstairs, including little bracelets, pens, pins, keychains, magnets, notepads.. everything you can imagine. They have other options for a higher price too, from earrings of the statue of liberty, to phone cases, to hoodies, jerseys and funny condoms. Some things are truly overpriced, but I got great deals to bring back for friends and family in HTX. I did not enjoy shopping here because it was so packed that I would run into others every couple seconds, and because some members of the staff literally follow you around the store making sure you don't steal, which is pretty uncomfortable if you ask me.

So many gifts, souvenirs and much more! The prices were fair and reasonable. Although they should have more selection of t-shirts. I will definitely come here for my souvenirs when we come back to NYC! Thank you!

Gland slam 256 W 47st First I would like to say how wonderful the manager is - I purchased over 200.00 worth of item only to be treated like garbage by the cashiers!!! The women checking you out of the store - taking your money are completely rude! Zero customer service !!! If I hadn't been beeped at the front door the poor manager would have no clue how rude these women treat customers When I went back in - I ran into him! A complete sweetheart and he is so disrespected by these women as well !!! In the end he was so amazing and I would shop there again only because of him !! People need to remember customer service is number one

I like it here as there are three floors of souvenir shopping but the prices are really steep. This is the biggest souvenir shop I have seen here so far and has everything. Closest and convenient as its at Times Square...the staff here are not as friendly but lines go pretty fast. Been here twice and I guess I will be back to buy things for others... ;-)

I only gave this one star because it was the lowest I could go. Incredibly rude staff member. they harassed me with F word! when asked if I could return an item that I bought 2 mins. ago. I don't know what is going on in her life. But a customer is not her emotional punching bag. BEWARE!! I'd hate for any other person to have to go through this experience.

If you want to be followed around by staff like you're stealing stuff... this is the place! So rude and just browsing you will notice staff follows you like your a thief. I spend lots of money on Yankees gear and this place will NOT get my money after what I just experienced. When I complained to the security guard at the door...he told me to tell the manager... Which I did. The security guard guard at the door told me he gets these complaints all the time about staff. Additionally they appear to be selling fake MLB stuff. Everything looks and feels fake and sizes are waaay off!

They got lots of small gifts for a buck. I got a deck of cards, shot glass, magnet, socks, bottle opener all for under a buck each. I later visited another gift shop and found a small mirror costing almost $5 and at this store I found it for $1. I know they say to avoid time square for gifts but I found many small ones for a steal.

I don't normally frequent sovenier stores, but I collect a magnet from everywhere I live/visit/ etc. for my parents. Somehow, I never got them a NYC one. Grand Slam NY had the cheapest and nicest magnets to choose from. I think I paid $2.99 for a really cute magnet. The check out lines were a disaster, but I'd send people here for souvenirs.

This is the quite possibly the largest souvenir shop in New York. It is located in Times square in between 46th and 47th street. In addition to having a large selection, they also seem to be about the same, if not cheaper in price from the many other store fronts selling souvenirs. The store itself is bi-level with mostly pop culture items in the lower floor, and NY souvenirs with Yankee gear on the top floor. The selection is clearly better than most of the other stores in the area. The store itself may not be as trendy or organized as the other stores, but it makes up for it in selection, price, and convenience. I would give it 5 stars if it presented itself just a little bit better.

Yes yes...this place is the epitome of the term "touristy". I heart NY shirts, mugs, mini statues of liberty, keychains, magnets, etc. If you need to pick up souvenirs for your loved ones back home, this is the place to do it. On Broadway, its located next to Roxy deli...you can't miss it. Just look for the window full of Yankee gear. Thats one of the reasons that I like this place: upstairs is almost all Yankee gear (small section for the Muts, I mean...Mets). They've got jerseys, shirts, cups, frames, photos, keychains, etc...everything Yankees. The player shirts here are cheaper than the shops across the stadium though they don't have all the players but they do have the legens (Ruth, Gerig, Mantle, Donny, etc) and some nice leather jackets. Overall, its a big store with lots of stuff where you can do all your last-minute gift shopping or grab some Yankees gear.
