It was a wonderful experience strolling the grand souk location . However it’s more of a commercial souk than a traditional one .The old world charm feel is still there with the local vendors and outlook feels Arabic too. One can easily find local souvenirs and novelties at cheap prices . I came across few vendors who sold antiques and vintage items . The metro is nearby and is easily accessible to most attractions nearby . however this place is meant to be explored on foot . There are local restaurants as well .

We visited Grand Souk Bur Dubai during our Dubai trip from Kerala and it was a beautiful experience. The souk has a traditional charm, with shops selling everything from perfumes and dry fruits to abayas and Arabic lamps. People were friendly and polite — some even spoke a few Malayalam words, which made us feel at home! Prices were reasonable after a little bargaining. A must-visit for families looking to explore local culture.💚

While parking is limited, an open-air car park near Dubai Museum provides a convenient option. Beyond textiles, the market also features jewellery stores and souvenir shops offering affordable keepsakes and quirky memorabilia. The atmosphere becomes especially vibrant in the evenings, particularly on weekends. Unlike Dubai’s luxurious malls, this market showcases a more traditional and culturally rich shopping experience, making it a must-visit for those looking to explore the city's diverse retail scene.

Had the chance to make a tour with Aladdin Crew in all 3 Souks, no words to describe the experience and the views. Amazing weather and not crowded. So ... a big shout to Aladdin Crew, Especially to Mr Seef,we enjoyed the mini trips to the iconic side of the old town. We couldn't take our eyes off from the beauties of the soroundings,nonetheless, to mention the mini stories and educational information about the culture of the Emirates were fantastic. My favourite part was the ⛺️ and the real life customs with which guests are received, and the Falcon ,the incredible bird which made sensation. Thank you for your al the effort and patience on awaiting for us ,as in the mean while we were using the negotiations skills which you teached us. We did a goooood job. Shukran.

It's worth visiting if you are a tourist and want to get a bit of classical Arabian flavor. It is nice it terms of architecture and environment, but a lot of the goods are low quality (and not Arabic, but Chinese), and the sellers are annoying. But still you can find very unique and handmade items. Anyway, the area itself is nice.

This souq is located at where the birth of the city. Must visit area when you reach in Dubai. You can walk through the culture of UAE. Good shopping destination if you want to buy souvenirs, UAE traditional dress/show pieces Etc. This souq is located at bank of Dubai abra.
