Google
An amazing cinema experience with comfortable seats, color accurate projection and clear sound, but no popcorn (which wasn't a deal breaker for me, but for some it might be). Great vibes and a sense of a movie loving community.

The cinemas is very cute and cozy. Normally you can watch non-main stream movies here. There is also a very cozy cafe with nice cafe where one can have food and drink and read books.

Great cinema, kinda fancy and old-style. There is a nice café, plenty of space to sit down and talk while waiting for the session. The seats are comfortable and the main room has a way out directly to the street, which makes it much easier to leave when the movie is done. Only problem with that room is that the screen a bit small for the size if the room and the front rows are all on the same level, which makes it a little difficult to watch the movie if a taller person is in front of you. The smaller rooms have better leveled seats.

Very nice place, but if you buy a seat, do not do so in the first couple of rows, it is very difficult to see. I do not know why the first row is so close to the screen.

Great spot to spend an evening at, as theatre also has a cafe where you can get quite affordable drinks and snack and enjoy the evening sitting on the "terrace".

Nice old fashioned cinema. Nice big screen, comfortable seats, and good customer service.

Nice and cosy arthouse cinema in the heart of the old city. They recently renovated the toilet section, so no more queing on the stairs.

The theatre is near City Hall. We went for an English movie. It was supposed to start at 12:30 PM. Multiple ads were screened for more than 20 mins. Movie actually started only at 12:52 PM.

Yelp
This cinema reminds me of Paris. It just has such a lovely atmosphere with its black and white decoration! And all the framed pictures and the nicely set posters make a nice vibe. Regarding the facilities, there is a cafe where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or warm chocolate before or after the movie. Can't remember if they had popcorn (pretty sure they didn't) but at least they do not have much candy. So if you associate movies to eating something yummy make sure you bring something with you. One more thing I liked about it was that it was more or less kids free and it was quite chill/peaceful with no queues. I had a very positive experience and whenever I check for films I try to look if I can watch something there. It is also quite conveniently close to Strøget so it is easy to find your way to it.

Yelp
Small, neat cinema with an authentic vibe. Grand Teatret has been kept in a Danish 1930's style that gives the theatre a unique warm and welcoming feel. The atmosphere is laid back, and I've never seen a line of more than 3 people (all waiting to get a coffee) - and while you can buy candy, it doesn't have a massive candy supermarket like many newer cinemas, but instead has a minimal candy selection at the ticket sales desk. The lovely vibe you get from the cinema and its adjoining cafe is that this is a place for movies and cinema lovers. Not marketing. Not candy. Not Hollywood. Just good movies. It makes you remember what movies and cinema is really is - or at least really was - about. Bottom line: The best cinema in Copenhagen, second only to Cinemateket.

Yelp
Love this old cinema! Despite its location in the crappier (as in, more touristy and tacky) part of the Copenhagen pedestrian area, this is in fact kind of an arthouse cinema, showing primarily quite narrow films. Cozy and quaint, great architecture, and a nice, if somewhat pricey café, leads into a completely renovated and very comfortable movie theatre, with new, soft seats that reclines, and plenty of leg space. Don't expect this place to put on the latest Marvel summer blockbuster, or the coming Star Wars flicks. More documentaries and art house films, or sometimes more commercial art house-ish films. But if that's your thing, its a great cinema.

Yelp

Yelp
Grand, I do love you, you know that I do, but why do you sometimes have to be such a posh little bitch? I love (most of) your films, you know that I do, but why must the people working for you always have to make the experience less magical? Why am I so often getting scolded by that scary lady serving me coffee? Why is she so mad, Grand, oh, but why? Grand, please do also change the tables in your café area. It does not suit you to have such ugly tables when you try to be so ridden with style. I am still in love with you, Grand. I am still in love with your seats and your gorgeous auditorium 3, but please, Grand, being beautiful doesn't mean you have to be so uppity.

Yelp
Awesome old-timey cinema ambiance. The repertoire is niche, with a lot of non-English movies (beware: Danish subtitles).

Yelp
Best cinema in København. Arthouse style, showing smaller, low-budget films that wouldn't necessarily be screened anywhere else. Pricing is around 85.00 per person. On site cafe is also reasonably priced, good selection of beers and organic food. Cafe can be used without use of the cinema.
