I can’t give more than one star if there is worse I choose it! Very bad experience. It changed to Hilton double tree but they need to work very hard to get it back on its feet.. weed smell is all over the place.. we changed several rooms because of the mould on the air condition and bugs in the corners. Some workers were rude، on the other hand, many were nice ! My niece went in to the bathroom and see the ceiling is dripping!!! When they complained they were told may be the ones above you are taking a shower!! The manager doesn’t know where to start fixing the hotel problems!! It is supposed to be renovated and closed till everything is under control!! People are paying full price for having a very bad service!

My family had a reunion event at the hotel this weekend and everything was wonderful! The staff was great! The food was excellent and the setup exceeded expectations! Marshall, Robert and Matthew ensured a smoothly run event and were very accommodating to last minute changes. The decor was elegant and everything was arranged in a timely manner. The front desk staff was courteous and efficient. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Appropriately sized for our group. I would book again at this hotel for an event and a wonderful stay!

Okay so the people stating 5 out of 5.... Big No!!! I only gave 2 stars because Kevin at the front desk was absolutely amazing and I can't remember the bartender but so was he. Okay so let's talk about the lobby beautiful absolutely gorgeous but then there is the room. The sheets were disgusting, not clean. There were contact lens... CONTACT LENS ON THE WALL. There was smudges on the windows the front desk lady upon check in said they don't do room service (so they don't clean the room until you leave.... if that ) we had to leave our towels on the floor outside the room. The pool was cold and nasty the chairs have water marks of dirt on them because the bottom half sits in the chlorine. The AC gave off a smell and the room smelled like mildew. I definitely would not recommend you staying here at all. Overall they need lots of improvements. Also the lady that's supposed to stay at the front desk during her shift was never at the front desk when I called or went downstairs.

- had a staycation at this hotel . 10 / 10 do recommend. it’s close to the highway so you can get to and from everything fast. I don’t like that I had to pay 40 for parking when it doesn’t say that online . the lobby and the staff were great , the owner ended up opening the pool for me after hours to check it out . the rooms could / need a bit of a upgrade because they do look kinda old . I didn’t notice until the day before check out that it was an eyelash and a hair clip under the table . housekeeping was great , they brought me fresh towels after only staying for 2 days . Food is kinda high & also the waters was like 4 dollars a piece . 🥴🥴 . other than that I will be staying again soon for my birthday . also the balcony room came in handy especially when it was raining , just prop the door open and let the fresh air in

Horrible experience: dirty room, rude employees, charged for parking. After waiting 30 minutes in a hot lobby because room wasn’t finished being cleaned we were finally given keys to room. We get to the room; beds are not made, bedding on the floor, personal belongings left behind, stains on counter top, trash in bathroom. I took pictures and showed the front desk but still no accountability was taken by front desk. They said a manager would check it out. After waiting 20 minutes on that there was no update. Decided to take our business else where. Front desk assured us we wouldn’t be charged for the night but we were. So I had to waste more time disputing charge when it came up. I will never stay at any double tree hotel. You have to pay to park. Luckily we found a much nicer/new hotel down the street with kind employees. Four points hotel.

Google
This place isn’t terrible but if you can find a better option, do it. The entire length of our stay there were no towels. I went to the front desk at 3am to ask for washcloths and was told there weren’t any….actually there were no towels at all because they were being washed, went back down later that morning and they still didn’t have any. I also told them most of the lights in our room didn’t work but there was no one from maintenance that could come look. Room had a weird smell and definitely could have been cleaned better. Only plus side was they were accommodating in putting us in a handicap room. My stay was only one night so I guess it served its purpose.

Google
This has to be a franchisee that runs this hotel. This IS NOT a 4 star hotel. It smell dank and it is dirty. You have to pay $10 just to park to check in. When we got to our room the room was not cleaned fro. The last guest. The restaurant is not open. There are mold stains on the ceiling in the lobby and people sleeping in the chairs (they seem to be part of the "staff"). This was the WORST experience I have ever had at a hotel and I ended up leaving and getting another hotel even though I paid for this one. Sometimes it is better to cut your losses. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Google
The hotel looks amazing in pictures. It very Aesthetically pleasing. The pool looks amazing. But it’s not up to par for the price you pay for the room. The pool furniture needs cleaning, the pool wasn’t cleaned during our stay. I know this because there was a basketball float that floated in the pool our whole four days there and it was full of debris. The water was freezing so it’s not heated. The room did not have a mini fridge. It was missing completely. There was a space for it but nothing was there. I booked an Oasis view and didn’t get what I paid for. There was a big window in the room. However when you open it! It’s blocked! The windows was the full width of the room. But we could only see out maybe a 4th of it. Big disappointment. Especially because there is zero ceiling lights. It’s all lamps. The bathroom had a nice mirror that made up for the lighting. Unfortunately the water was always super hot! If we tried to use the cold it was barely a drip. I was not pleased with this hotel especially with the amount of money we paid for it. I could of stayed somewhere cheaper and got at least continental breakfast to go with it. Definitely over paid. Won’t be staying here again.

Yelp
Is this place even open now? so much storm damage among other issues. It looks beautiful in the picture, however.

Yelp
Got this room for a Mother's Day weekend with my mom as she wanted to come visit me. I live very north of Houston so she wanted to stay closer to downtown for the other activities we have planned. This hotel is 20 min from basically anything. My mom didn't know when she booked it, however she was misdirected by the Expedia ad. This hotel looks like an abandoned strip club on the outside. Extremely outdated and not at all kept up with. Driving by it you would mistake it for being abandoned. The entry of the hotel was pretty I suppose. However, it felt very reminiscent of old 70's Vegas and not in a good way. Now let's get to the room... you can see from the attached pictures it was something that's for sure. Dust was basically on every service. I swiped my finger along the tv as a joke and was shocked to have an inch of dust left on my finger. We went into the bathroom and there is literally a paint project going on... The whole hotel has no discernible theme. The elevator felt like a party bus with LED lights along the sides and ceiling. The pool had a Grecian theme. The main lobby was fake crystal with faded Audrey Hepburn chairs. It's a mess. The people coming in and out of this hotel were sketchy to say the least. Literally carried my pepper spray in my hand walking out of the hotel and into our car. Parking is $10 a night. $100 incidental fee. Wanting to bathe myself in bleach after. Priceless.

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel back in October. My son forgot his phone in the room and house keeping confirmed finding it. After sending return postage box to the hotel on 11/2 for the return of his phone I have still not received the phone and they will not return my calls or emails. I'm out an iPhone and $50 for UPS shipping. Terrible customer service, would not recommend staying here.

Christine M.

Yelp
The name sounds beautiful, the pictures look amazing, and in real life, the lobby (the entire thing), the elevators, and the hallways are beautiful. The room is put together but extremely outdated. The entire room, and everything in it (& outside of it - my balcony) are completely outdated, and look cheaply made. The AC does work very well. The bathroom is just OK very average. They having in room dining which was surprising. There are two laminated menus, breakfast , and lunch & dinner. The selection is to medium extension. The staff is pleasant. It was an ok stay, but since the room was un-inviting, linen on bed and the bed itself were extremely uncomfortable, I wouldn't stay here again, unless I was being 3 star (170$) budget friendly again.

John W.

Yelp
I've enjoyed a stay here prior and found the reviews to be way out of line until this evening. I found myself in one room and I could hear the room be met door get texts, calls and their video game. So I asked to move and it got worse, who gives a family the room next to the elevator??? Well don't ask to love from their, the. You end up in the room as close to the highway as possible. That's right, tonight I will forget about sleep as I listen to the cats to ensure one isn't actually coming through the third floor room. Pictures are from a prior stay, quieter room. I'll be headed somewhere else tomorrow evening and couldn't be happier about that decision. So had I of stayed on this side prior, we wouldn't be back and guess what......we won't chance it again, good bye super Tuscany 8.

Hope A.

Yelp
Upon check in, there was was a stain on the bed and as scrunchy on the floor. Because of the reddish brown stain, I asked for new sheets and a new room was offered to me. I agreed and upon entering this new room, I was attacked by flies. Like four. The rooms smell like wetness. I'm just sad. I got in super late and I was ready to sleep after a stressful airport experience but here I am doing this because I'm so confused. And Raven at the front desk is rude and unhelpful.

Roman C.

Yelp
Terrible place. If you want to pay for self park parking, have a unclean room, and smell dirty air, this is a place for you, dirty walls and stained carpets.. HORRIBLE PLACE. Checked in.. 10 minutes later I was checking out. Front desk was helpful and refunded me on the spot. Definitely don't recommend this hotel AT ALL!!!

Rita S.

Yelp
The hotel was recommended to me as I wanted to have a staycation from the town I'm from, THE BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!! I strongly feel like the hotel itself is a false representation than it actually appears on it's website, I definitely should have read the reviews before coming here, I live about an hour and a half NW of Houston and just needed a nice getaway... WRONG, I cringed every night I was there. There was nothing luxurious about our stay. We received dirty towels, the room was not clean and we never received fresh linens on the beds, the A/C made an extremely loud noise and was blowing warm air when I went to try and adjust it I found mold growing on the inside, which I have video of and showed the front desk clerk who seemed unfazed; it also smelled very sweaty and the carpet smelled stale, and got worse because we had no circulation of air from the rooms AC unit. We had gnats and there was no food in our room. The overall front desk staff was just rude and unconcerned about our needs, there was only one person that was nice and unfortunately I don't remember his name. I will never nor will I ever recommend this hotel to anyone, because what hotel ties their door handles off at night with white rope, because who are they trying to keep out? I have continually called and asked for a receipt only to be left on hold, and request to have a call to speak to Management has not happened, and I was given a bogus email bobbiebrown@grandtuscany.com that's bounced back saying my email had been blocked! So please Do Not, I repeat Do Not waste your money here!

Mille B.

Yelp
The entrance is the ONLY positive to this hotel. I came in and immediately called because there were no towels. There were old sheets left in the corner behind a table. It took the entire day to bring towels. I requested a new room, they said there was nothing available, not even a modicum of concern. I then got COVID-19. I was staying long enough to take care of business here in Houston, but had to check out sooner than expected. Not to mention the audacity to charge for parking when they are doing construction inside and outside of the hotel. Like I said, the entrance is stunning.... But there are no beds there sooooo. Really disappointed. The 1 start is only because I can't give -5 stars.

Nina J.

Yelp
This hotel is BEAUTIFUL!! The lobby decor is beautiful and the staff is AMAZING!! I have a king room and it is pretty spacious. The room decor is minimal..not as opulent as the lobby but nice nonetheless (I'll be sleeping so room decor is not a big deal...my eyes will be closed 80% of the time I'm in here anyway ). The bed is quite comfortable and the room is nice and clean, which are super important. The bathroom is small but it gets the job done, so I'm ok with that. Now, they have a pool that is awesome...it's a lazy river design, which I think is super cool. They also have a huge TV in the pool area, along with cabanas. There's a cafe and restaurant too, for those who don't feel like driving to grab a bite to eat. Now, the hotel is a bit away from the city, so keep that in mind. Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying my stay here and will definitely be visiting again.

Fabian R.

Yelp
Thanks for all the great hospitality and service offered by this hotel. The staff was very helpful and always at my service. Downstairs there's a lazy river that you can float and a great pool area. This hotel has all the things you need to relax and take your mind off of everything. I can't say enough great things about my stay.

Taurus W.

Yelp
For starters, this hotel looks nothing like what a hotel should look like on the outside. It looks like an abandoned building in the distant. Upon entering the compound, on top of the hotel price, there's a parking fee per day. After parking, the hotel felt like some run down club. People outside in groups smoking weed. People drinking alcohol in the parking lot and staring at peoples families as they walk to the building. It's best to have some type of protection on you if you're staying at this hotel with your family. After getting our key card, immediately upon walking in the room is smelt as if something died in the bathroom. The trash wasn't taken out and the shower water smelt like sewer water. The curtain were all torn up and the bed sheets had stains on them. After a long day, we decided to take a break in the lazy river. There was cigarette butts and all types of trash in the lazy river. People outside at the tables smoking weed, it was just horrible. 10 out of 10 WILL NOT RECOMMEND.

Nika J.

Yelp
Wooo Chile where can we start. The only thing good about this hotel is the lobby and ballroom. If I would have known about the rooming, I would have stayed at the Hampton Inn next door. The price of theses rooms are ridiculous, not to be provided with refrigerators, microwaves, and ice machines. Then had the nerves to tell us to purchase ice from the bar. I should have checked the bed before I laid down, but when I woke up they pillow cases and sheets had stains. In fact I'm still itching from what ever they used to wash them sheets. My first room had no working air and they promptly move me, but that was the only thing good about the hotel...I will not recommend...

SharonBrown D.

Yelp
This hotel has got to have the worse customer service ever. I took a picture of my phone after I had been placed on hold for an hour. They claim they can't see reservations the day before...they didnt charge me an extra night until I was gone. They told me to file a claim with my bank knowing that they couldn't do anything, but they could have creditEd my account. It took them an entire hour to come up with this response.

Jeff K.

Yelp
Not the best hotel I've been to. I only spent $87 per night so I can't expect great so I understand that. My wife got pink eye the day we got home and it may be from the pillow cases here. I wouldn't be shocked. There was what looked to be like a yellow dried up spit leugie on the wall by one of the beds. One of the towels folded in the bathroom had black stuff all over it. The room I stayed in had crumbs by the bed and a spider on the ceiling. The wife called staff to bring her toilet paper when she ran out and they just never brought it to her and one of my nights there the hot water in the shower wouldn't work. The pool/lazy river look pretty nice but it was too cold to swim, I know that's not the hotels fault though. The hotel lobby upstairs lounge area was nice and peaceful so my daughter and I did a puzzle. It was nice and peaceful because when we were here there were almost no guests, I counted a total of 11 cars in the parking lot so they must get almost no business here. The chandelier when you walk in is beautiful, this place has potential but unfortunately how it currently is I would not return. Another downside, they charge the guests $10 per night additional for parking.

Kenya G.

Yelp
I'm usually not without words but this time I can only come up with a few. There prices are crazy for what they offer / location and amenities. This was a simple staycation and there was literally one other couple in the hotel. No issues with crowds and social distancing or noise. Room was ok and we were able to relax. Food is less than desirable. Decor was all over the place - no clear direction or theme. If you have nothing else to do- try it for yourself. I hope management and owners take the time to read ALL of the reviews and make the necessary changes.

Ariana O.

Yelp
I booked this hotel for my birthday under the sole purpose that I was informed that the pool would be heated because my birthday is in the dead of winter to my disappointment when I arrived at the hotel I was informed that the pool was in fact NOT heated. The pool area is the main attraction of this entire hotel because the exterior of this hotel looks like an abandoned warehouse. I was also told that there would be a brunch available to all the guests but there were only business associates there and there was in fact NO brunch just loud music and small eats. The elevators had some LED light strips on them that looked like they were purchased from the five below store I don't know what the budget was for this hotel but they're less than five years old so I believe that the experience that I had was unacceptable.

BC S.

Yelp
Went for a great friends memorial service. Emotions were already raw and the you pull up and the most rude person tells us that it will be $10 to self park - YESI said SELF Park for a funeral. Worst still the lot was empty so they weren't "managing spaces". The front desk manager, Raven, said it was in the event contract. A hotel that puts that in a funeral service contract should be ashamed of themself. General manager Syed was unavailable to discuss the rude parking attendant or the poor taste contract. We watched as multiple cars backed out and drove away which was very sad for or friend.

Natalia T.

Yelp
The only two good things about this hotel is the night lady from front desk and the view of the pool. I booked this hotel for my wedding weekend. I checked in Friday night. Went straight to bed since Saturday was the wedding. By Saturday morning the AC went out. My bridal party and I had to get ready in a very hot room. Maintenance came and told us we had to move rooms. Super stressful. I had asked for the room to be cleaned so when my husband and I came back from our wedding the room would be accommodated. After the wedding we arrived to the hotel just to find the room not cleaned. Super disappointed. Sunday morning came around and before I left to go eat for the day and go places I asked front desk to send room service AGAIN since I have yet to receive it. They told me ok they would get on it. Got back 5 hours later to find the room not to have been cleaned AGAIN. We paid a good deal of money for it to be a mid experience.

Kasi T.

Yelp
Employees are not wearing face masks or using gloves. Cons - No microwave or refrigerator - Called for room service to deliver extra towels, was told to go to front desk to grab them - NO VENT in the bathroom - Elevators take FOREVER, ended up using the stairs every time - TV stations sometimes lose connection/need to change channel then go back - Toilet paper holder was about to break/fall off, could barely hold the toilet paper - Opened the windows and saw a roof top and a wall. Literally could not see the sky. - Hangers in the closet are all crooked/warped but still held clothes (it did the job though) - Box spring and mattress do not match. The backboard makes the bed stick over the spring. - Check out is at noon but was visited by cleaning lady at 8am to see if we were still in the room Pro - Has a full size mirror - Bathroom mirror has a white led light around the edges and warms the middle so the shower doesn't fog the mirror too bad. - Bathroom has a small extended mirror with 2 sides (one is magnifying), comes with a light but the ring light isn't that bright. - Comes with hair dryer - Lots of table room to put stuff down - Lots of outlets for plugs and USB - Has a movable desk under the main desk. - Has a Keurig Overall: Would not come back, you can probably find a cheaper/same price hotel with better service.

Marcie P.

Yelp
Came for Mother's Day. Came out to the pool and you have to pay $50 plus tax to sit at a table! I am not talking about a cabana. I have never seen this at a hotel. We are guests with a paid room. Talk about nickel and diming.

Helen S.

Yelp
Ummm ... I normally wouldn't eviscerate any business on Yelp but I feel others need to be warned. Is this place ... a scam? Reserved a room through Booking.com for a one-night staycation to rest and recharge. Drove by the property after reserving the room to see party-goers gathered outside and police cars - not the tranquil oasis portrayed online. Quickly canceled within a day of making the reservation, still several days in advance. Hotel staff told me it wouldn't be a problem and someone would leave a message for the manager so I would avoid being charged. But of course I was. Have made multiple follow-up calls and emails, and Booking.com says no one from the hotel has resolved this. So although I was initially refunded the payment from my credit card company, it has now been re-billed. There are so many great options in Houston - please know this is a party hotel even though it is not advertised as such, and they will not refund your money if you fall for their false advertising.

Thaila C.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE! THEY STEAL. The photos do not at all reflect this hotel. There isn't an ounce of "luxury" people smoking weed outside, women getting dressed in the lobby to name a few. The room smelled like the carpet had never been cleaned. Floors were not vacuumed or mopped. Luckily I bring Lysol spray everywhere I go. LASTLY housekeeping and lost and found will steal your things! I take responsibility for leaving my items but when I called to get them back they claim they cannot find anything. It was an entire dress and a suit...not sure how that's easy to lose. Desiree at the lost and found claims she can't accuse anyone of stealing yet acted like it was an issue to locate my things. I would never recommend or stay here again at this run down, dirty establishment.

Pam B.

Yelp
I stayed here from 9/9-9/12 and i must aay that i love the ambiance of the hotel. It give the feel of old Hollywood. When i arrived check in was a breeze and Kevin was so pleasant and answered all my question with ease. I was originally assigned room 919 and when i got my room although a nice room there was a sock in the middle of the floor an toilet paper in thw bathroom trash. So i headed downstairs to asked to be moved and my room was changed instantly. From that point on everything went smoothly. I love the lazy river and brunch was really good as well. Over-all despite a few mishap i truly enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Fatima W.

Yelp
If you are looking for genuine hospitality and a accommodating customer service, do not ever come to this place. First off, this hotel has roaches inside and outside the hotel. At night time they run freely all over the parking lot and we actually saw one on the wall in the hallway of the hotel. Throughout the duration of our stay the staff were very rude and they lacked quality customer service skills. The policy and stills at the hotel is a rational, their policy says we have to stay at least three nights before they can change the sheets on a piece of paper. But some of the staff members let you know upon arrival that you can get that sheets change daily as long as you're putting the request in a day ahead of time. But of course when the shift changes those rules don't know apply anymore when deal with new people. I had called down the morning after our first night to the front desk to make sure we would receive fresh towels and fresh sheets while we were gone for the day and Bobby the manager, let me know that she would not be sending anyone to change my sheets and I was more than welcome to come get some towels myself if I wanted to. I proceeded to question her about the policy considering Kevin; another manager who checked us in, let me know that as long as I'm asking the day before I should be fine. I have had our room changed twice that night so I was just making sure that they would change the room number on the request that I already put in. She was very rude to me on the phone and I explain to her that I wasn't sure why she was being very hostile and rude with me over the phone. Especially after two other associates let let me know that it would be no problem for my sheets to be changed. I felt like my friends and I had to beg to had to beg to get the sheets changed. Which you think is a very common request, considering after they changed our room three times due to a shower having terrible water pressure in the first room, the sheets being dirty in the second and third room. The only reason we even decided to stay is because the night manager Ellen, was very polite and accommodating to us. Ellen & Marshall were the only people we encountered that showed us some true hospitality. When she found out our sheets are dirty, she immediately upgraded our rooms. We had came downstairs to just ask for fresh pillowcases and sheets because the stains weren't as drastic as the room before, and it was 10 o'clock at night. But she upgraded our room with no problem. she had asked us why they had didn't upgrade our room after the first issue with the shower. The lobby is beautiful, the pool is nice, but the rooms aren't that great. The pictures are definitely exaggerating online, they don't even have air conditioning throughout the whole building. It was 83 degrees in the hall ways & elevators. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!

Lisa G.

Yelp
I always stay at the grand Tuscany Kevin and Katrina were wonderful Very helpful in solving a priceline problem today will be back soon.

Yvette K.

Yelp
Walking into this Hotel was amazing. Absolutely beautiful. Staff was so kind and helpful. The Bartender was so nice. But....it just stopped right there. Once we got into our room, not bad but then I noticed no fridge, no microwave, sheets were dirty had to request new ones and the cabinets in the bathroom were damaged. Also, had to request service to the room to get towels etc (was advised due to COVID room servicing was not available), the View to pool area was beautiful but was half blocked by hotel structure. Huh.... In the end the only thing we can say about this hotel is that the inside lobby and the pool are was absolutely beautiful. Their ballrooms are elegant and beautiful as well. Even though I may never rent a room again, I am interested in their ballrooms If I had to rate on the lobby, restaurant, pool area and ballrooms alone - I would rate it a 10 (5 stars) Thanks

Julie G.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars and change them to a warning sign I would. First: room service food is mediocre for the price. I ordered blackened shrimp Alfredo and the shrimp was cocktail shrimp. Second: ROACHES. Had I not been exhausted we would've left because there was a roach above the headboard on the wall the size of a child's hand. The worst part is idk if it died or just blended in well with the carpet. Third: our vehicle was messed with!!! Someone stole parts off it in the short time we were there even though they have "security" and we parked right next to the building as close to the front as we could. The WORST part?! It costs us 2gs to get back in the road and management could care less. Oh. Their cameras in the parking lot don't work btw so their "liability" signs are void. We asked for at least a room comp and were denied. I don't expect my vehicle to be paid for and understand it's not their fault but their prevention measures are highly lacking and the bottom line is just don't stay here.

Timeka A.

Yelp
do not i repeat do not stay here!! roaches bad service very nasty ice machine out of order only two preson per room can swim have to buy additional pool passes pics are deceiving of the rooms its just all bad pimps and tricks in and out all night horrible place

Tanisha K.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. I think my review will not do the justice this hotel deserves! It's also a beautiful spot for a small intimate wedding! Go check it out for yourself. It won't disappoint:)

Alexz M.

Yelp
Soo misleading online the hotel it OLD AND OUTDATED .. balcony room no chairs on patio . NO FRIDGE OR MICROWAVE AND TO TOO IT ALL OFF I HAVE BITES ON MY LEGSSSS .. it was World Series weekend and everything was booked up but if u can please bypass this hotel poor reservation desk when I booked I was told I would have the 9th floor balcony booked room 2 weeks in advance . I get there she was extremely rude about it I told her I have a understanding that I will be on the 9th floor balcony cause that's what I booked . She goes NO YOUR GOING RIGHT HERE ON THE first floor room 104 . Like what your not gonna put me just anywhere . Room was smelly of old carpet . Stains all over the carpet bathroom was mid . Just horrible experience. 0 out of 10 never again bypass this place at all cost

Joss M.

Yelp
Not at all worth the cost. My second time here. The parking lot now costs money! And it's their own lot not some lot they are renting so there's no need to charge. The cabana and table are too expensive for what they are. This is not Vegas or Miami. The place could use some redecorating and cleaning in the pool area if they want it to feel extravagant. The pool food menu is barely edible and that is not an exaggeration. 16$ for some frozen "fish" squares! This will be my last visit.

Yelp
This might be a fun party hotel in a different time, but unfortunately, we are operating in different circumstances right now, and I was honestly shocked by the disregard for public safety shown by this self-proclaimed "luxury" hotel. Zero distancing measures, no staff wearing masks- even inside (the owner walking around wasn't even setting a good example for staff), hand sanitizing stations were empty, dirty pool water and trash everywhere- just to name a few issues. The pool is also tiny and there is no seating unless you get a cabana. Go somewhere else like Zaza, Post Oak, or the Marriott Marquis if you're looking for an upscale relaxing hotel. This hotel is super trashy, unsafe, dirty, loud, and not fun at all. I wouldn't want to be associated with this hotel, and it honestly wouldn't surprise me to hear of a COVID outbreak coming from it. We left early because of how awful it was. Would 100% not pass a health inspection right now. It's super shady and I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here in the future.

Yelp
DON'T GO HERE! I would give no stars if I could! It's a beautiful place I'm sure events here are great but don't stay the night! When we arrived the room was dirty. Hair in the mirrors dust and hair on everything, the curtains were covered if god knows what. Then the mini fridge wasn't cleaned out from the people before. Drinks were still in there. We barley stayed in the hotel bc if they barley cleaned I can only imagine if they change the sheets. Finally after we were done w our eventful night we went to the room to go to bed. There were roaches. ROACHES! We had no food to attract them. Enough was enough. I went down stairs and Ellen helped us. She was honestly probably the only good experience about this place. She made sure we were taken care of and got us a new room. If I ever come back it'd probably be because of her. I was so upset w the experience. I'm sure this place was once amazing but it's not it. Trash inside and outside. Outside smells like weed 24/7. Honestly just ghetto. I wouldn't book a event with what I saw. Really expected more from this place. If the cleaning staff kept up this place would be great. They really need to do something. Trash was collected in the same spots through out the day!

Yelp
I came to this hotel to have brunch with my family member. The staff, especially the manager, was extremely rude. The service was horrible. The staff's attitudes was very dismissive. The cashier was borderline harassing us for our meal tickets. The manager's tone was very condescending. Although this hotel is very beautiful, the service at the restaurant was extremely ugly.

Yelp
Pool is decent and room is clean, but room service was non-existent, internet was spotty, and food costs (a lot) extra (for such expensive rates at least breakfast should be free). The coffee machine in my room also did not work. The whole establishment gives off a slightly disinterested, half-assed vibe.

Yelp
Sooo we didn't expect it to be this beautiful it was breath taking and more the only thing that was wrong was our mirror was broke but EVERYTHING else was amazing the beds were comfortable the whole room was SUPER CLEAN and it smelled good like someone took they time to clean it we loved EVERYTHING about this hotel and will be coming back

Yelp
The hotel basically puts all of it's money into the lobby. Nothing else. Upon arrival I was given a dirty room that seemed to still be in use, I received no compensation for this inconvenience either btw. The rooms are bare minimum as hell. I was there four days and received no housekeeping, had to keep asking for towels just to receive them the day before I left, no hot water, and there was a roach in the lobby. Definitely not worth all of the money they charge.

Yelp
I must say it's the most beautiful hotel in Houston, the decor and pool area are amazing! Lots of photo opportunities. I stayed at the hotel twice; service was great and brunch was delicious. I booked a room again for the New Year's Eve, as hotel is hosting some amazing parties! I would definitely recommend it.

Yelp
If I could give this place zero stars I would! If racism was the key of my moment there they sure exceeded! These people were so rude and treated my BLACK WORKERS AND I LIKE WE WERE BENEATH THEM! Don't let me start with Gabe! For one I was there for a wedding and this place is not what it's made to be! In actuality THIS PLACE WAS FILTHY! The elevators are slow and don't work! The 7th floor had mattresses everywhere alone with phones and it was actually filthy I hope no one was staying in that floor! The floors and mirrors were so filthy and the stage in the ballroom to the far right was coming apart! Several people fell and no one reassured any guest they'll be ok! I would never book anything at this hotel! Nothing! & to the staff that's there y'all need business etiquette classes or better yet get shut down!

Yelp
Came here with my friends for a 4th of July pool party that we paid a total of $130 for. It rained and everyone was forced to leave early by men in vests carrying heavy duty guns by their sides. We were given no explanation of why this happened and no refund. Some staff on duty were very condescending and not helpful at all. Don't waste your money, this is how they treat their paying guests.

Yelp
We hosted our 35th business anniversary at The Grand Tuscany hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were gracious and accommodating. There were close to 300 people who attended our function and the hotel staff barely missed a beat. My family and I had breakfast there the next morning and everyone loved their food. We are happy to have this beauty in our corporate office area.

Yelp
This will be a 100% real review. I book a stay for 5 nights, so arriving to hotel lobby is extremely nice ,also pool . Then was told its 10 dollars per night for parking hiding fees . So get to the room ,the room was 1 star I mean smell bad . So I got another room it was better. Their food is way over price and nasty also they raise the price of food by a dollar when I was their like really. No room service they don't clean room unless u stay 3 nights and on 4th night they will clean up nothing what a joke .none of this is mention on website. This hotel is only good for pool parties not a stay big facts. Elevator will take forever to come down also we almost got stuck .Is it worth your money noooooooooooooo. Also they will tell food is serve until 12 ,10 then 9 so never make plans to eat their nasty food. Trust me food is trash I tried it 2 times both times was nasty .Don't let the lobby fool you are good review. Those review are from the pool parties that's it. That I can't lie it be lit. Also sheets in both room had stains on them so how this hotel a 4 star hotel . This is nothing more then 2 star hotel now you been warn take this review truthful are not . Why would they charge for parking . Also no microwave nor refrigerator. Weed smoking no mask wearing even if its a notice on front door. Loud wet carpet smell. This is a real review save your money also any random person can go to the pool.

Yelp
This was one of the worst hotels EVER! the hotel smelt like weed there were a lot of people there and none of them had masks on. A lot of people half naked and it was very LOUD. Paid 500 for one night. The elevators didn't really work and if they did it was packed. There's no way this place can have a pool part til 2am!!! UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. this is absurd. Save your time and avoid the place THE PILLOWS SMELLED LIKE SWEAT AND THE ROOM STUNK

Yelp
Food was stale and all closed. No breakfast until 12 which is check out so you miss out on breakfast I went for my birthday and the staff was so rude the place was all closed off the cafe never opened and there was no fridge in the room or microwave which for what I paid I shouldn't have to eat cold food. I was extremely displeased with the service and this hotel. Worse birthday ever.

Yelp
Don't book if you like hot showers, insect free rooms, clean carpet and functional elevators. First let's start off with the showers; there is no hot water whatsoever it is just lukewarm, i called the maintainence guy over 3 times and only appeared once claimed to have fixed the issue but minutes later the shower stopped working completely and was barely pushing any water out. I have found insects all over the room under the bed and in the bathroom. The carpet is stained and dirty, the hotel has loud crowded parties and it always smells like weed. The A/C Doesn't work properly doesn't turn on when you want it to and same goes for the heater. Not forgetting that One of the elevators doesn't work properly and the other takes a very long time to use it is sluggish and slow. Then regarding all these issues they have the audicity to charge you for parking. Paid 60$ for a 10 night stay to park my car then i later extended my stay due to family related matters in the city.

Yelp
This hotel is very nice! We actually got snowed in at this hotel for 2 days with no power/water but still enjoyed the space. Renda who works at the front desk is amazing and extremely helpful and sweet! 5 stars for her alone.

Yelp
The use of the terms "luxury" and "resort" in their marketing descriptions are very misleading (lies). This is at best a worn down lower mid range hotel with a need for major renovations and service improvement. Check in was ok, but after that service went downhill fast. I tried to get coffee at the so called Barista Cafe--but they didn't staff it so I had to find someone in the kitchen to come over. Then they didn't have coffee made--at 8am. Later that day I was informed they thought I was checking out today, even though they charged me for three days at check in, had to get that sorted out. The property is also a huge let down. The AC barely worked in our room so the room is constantly muggy, everywhere you look there is something in need of serious maintenance--broken out glass, couches with rips and tears, seriously stained carpeting, wobbly furniture, etc. The pool area is very disappointing with worn out plastic and ripped fake leather chairs and no where to lounge by the pool. It does look like they've tried to put some lipstick on this pig, but they seriously need to shut it down and totally refurbish it. I previously said don't stay here unless they give you a price comparable to a Motel 6, but now I say don't bother, just go to Motel 6 you'll have a more enjoyable stay.
