Grand Victorian

Absolutely wonderful experience at the Grand Victorian. Our hostess was exceptional, and the location can’t be beat. The breakfast, mid-afternoon appetizers, and homemade cookies were all well prepared and delicious. A couple minute walk gets you right to the Nye Beach overlook. Plenty of wonderful restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The view from the Lady Catherine room afforded us views of the ocean, and the room and shared bath were beautifully appointed with all the linens, pillows, towels and small amenities that anyone could need. I can’t recommend this B&B enough - thank you for the amazing experience!

We had a lovely night on the third floor of the Grand Victorian. This is a gorgeous house right on Nye Beach within a stone's throw of all the fun shops and restaurants. We were greeted with tasty shrimp cocktail, and there were scrumptious cupcakes for the taking as well. The room on the third floor was cozy and full of character. The bed was so comfortable! Our breakfast was enormous too. Possibly the best hash browns I have ever had. Thank you so much Eileen for sharing your space with guests in such a delightful and welcoming manner.

My husband and I spent the day at the Grand Victorian for a friend's wedding. The proprietors couldn't have been nicer, or more accommodating. The house was the perfect setting for the small ceremony. The 3 bedrooms in the house provided ample space for the immediate family of the bride and groom. The suite at the top of the stairs had a huge bathroom, small sitting area as well as a small balcony with a view of the ocean. The middle floor had 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The entire house is decorated tastefully with antiques, but also has a comfortable/homey feel. After the ceremony, we walked to the nearby Nye Beach for photos. It was the perfect setting, with so many options for photos! We then returned to the house to cut the cake. My friends mentioned that the breakfast the next day was fantastic. I would highly recommend this as the perfect venue for a nice weekends stay at the coast, or another wedding. The owners went out of their way to meet every need, yet were respectful of everyone's space.

We recently stayed at the Grand Victorian and loved it. The hosts are very friendly and the home is beautiful. We stayed in the Victorian suite and the room was fantastic, Jacuzzi tub was very relaxing and the view from the room is fantastic. Breakfast was great many options, my wife and I celebrated our 12th anniversary I called ahead to ask if I could have flowers put in the room for her and they were there and beautiful. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast you wont be disappointed.

What a great place in great owner. We loved the room on the third floor would you have all to yourself. The third level has their own bathroom. Two other rooms on second level have a shared bathroom. The people who were there with us we're on the second level and they told us they've been in each of the rooms over the years. The room at the top was by far the best and we had a balcony overlooking the water. We only stayed one night but we did feel pampered in the breakfast was great. We would likely return if we're back in Newport. There are other places that are closer to the ocean but you are only two blocks away from the sand.

The Grand Victorian in Newport, OR is fabulous. It is located very close to the beach and within walking distance from very nice restaurants and shops. The proprietor is very warm and pleasant. She prepared a tea for our group that was excellent! The food and atmosphere was perfect. The rooms are divine. The are decorated so cute. This was our second time there, and we would recommend the Grand Victorian to any one!

Relaxing and quiet, top floor is awesome with a view and balcony. Short walk to beach. We had shrimp cocktail and a cheese plate waiting for us. Delicious breakfast prepared on our time table. My husband (and I) loved it! Gracious and friendly hostess. One other room was occupied but never heard a peep. Can't wait to go back!

This was my first experience with a B&B and I have to say I was blown away. Great host and location. The top floor room is the way to go. Breakfast was amazing! Great location and easy to walk to a lot of really good places. Host were very friendly. Highly recommend you stay here. Much better than 99% of the hotels we've stayed at in the area.
