Grand View Beach Hotel

The Grand View was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and we are well travelled. We arrived from England and were given a warm welcome and a choice of rooms. It certainly has a Grand View.....which seemed to be from every window! The hotel is quiet and quintessentially English,which we loved and felt at home. Breakfast was lovely and the breakfast waiter was friendly and gave us lots of information about St Vincent. We found all staff kind and considerate and nothing was too much trouble. Food at the restaurant was good and it was nice to eat with the locals and make friends. Our room was clean and fresh and very comfortable. So much so that we were supposed to be staying for two nights which we changed and stayed for a week....as it was so relaxing. Thank you to the cleaners and front desk staff who were ever present ,caring,and again.....very accommodating. We stayed here over Christmas and it became our base.....to enjoy St. Vincent. We will be back next year........Thank you for making our Xmas so special!

The hotel is clean and the views are spectacular. The overall service leaves a bit to be desired. The breakfast was nice but not included in the room rate so its an additional expense. The beach grill did not open until 3pm and closes on holiday days so you need to leave the hotel to eat

This hotel has taken on a MAJOR Renovation and is ABSOLUTELY BREATH Taking!!! You see the most BEAUTIFUL ocean views from the ENTIRE property. I cannot wait until the LOVELY NEW beach bar is finished. This will DEFINITELY be the NEW ISLAND HOT spot!!!

Definately not what we expected. Reception seemed forced; not genuinely welcoming. Rooms extremely dated. A/C too small for the room. Took 2 days to cool off the room. Came back from a meeting on the 3rd day, someone had turned it off (sighh).Balcony has great views, but it and the furniture are not inviting. Walk out "with" shoes on, take in the view, go back in the room, have your drink peering through the sliding glass door. There is cable tv and wifi. Miniture old school soap bars. No shampoo/conditioner no lotion. No microwave. Small fridge. Breakfast was good but service is EXTREMELY slow. Asked for scrambled eggs and toast. Took almost half hour and there was no one else. Restaurant closes like before 3p. They refer you to the Grill on the beach for dinner. Food there is sad and over priced. Service was sad. Many items on the menu not available. Views around the property are great though. The property has soooo much potential. Needs serious help.

The Grandview family is an amazing group. From the Sardine family on down, justba wonderful staff. No other place to stay on the island

Extremely welcoming and accommodating staff and owners. They go above and beyond what any other hotel will afford you

Grand view beach is a wonderful placw in st.vincent the workers are great management so if i have to visit again thats where i am going to stay

Excellent location and view. Hospitality os great and the constitucion is wonderful, from the mid 1800's. Really worth It!
