The exterior of the hotel is very beautiful, but unfortunately, the room and the service were deeply disappointing.
This was our first stay booked through Agoda from January 7–14, costing THB 38,283.07 (without breakfast). At this price, we expected a spacious and well-appointed room, but instead we were given a very small room of only 32 sqm. Once we placed our luggage, there was hardly any space left. The service was also very limited and not appropriate for a hotel in this price range.
We then extended our stay from January 14–21 but had to change to a larger room because we needed more space, and the original room was not available. My relatives had to pay an additional THB 5,100 per day, totaling about THB 23,000 — again, without breakfast.
My two relatives stayed from January 7–21. I only visited and stayed overnight in the room for one night (January 15) because it was very late. On the next morning, the front desk complained that three people were not allowed in the room and demanded an extra THB 1,900 per day for an extra bed. They even warned that if we did not cooperate, any damage to the room would be charged to the registered guests. This felt extremely unfair and insulting, as if we were being treated like criminals. What damage could possibly occur from one extra person staying for one night?
It felt as though the hotel was constantly trying to extract more money rather than provide proper hospitality. The service quality did not match the high price at all.
The only advantage of this hotel is its location in the city center near shopping malls, which makes transportation and sightseeing convenient. Other than that, there is nothing impressive.
I have stayed in many hotels in Thailand, including ones that cost around THB 3,000 per night, and they offered far better service than this. This hotel is overpriced and not worth the money.
We even had to dry our clothes inside the bathroom because the washing and drying machines did not work properly — washing only, no drying. There was no balcony, and a strong sewage smell came up from the drain. Overall, it felt more like renting a low-budget apartment than staying in an expensive hotel.
As a Thai guest, this was a very disappointing experience, and I will not return.
