Grande Roche Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Grande Roche Hotel and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The hotel itself is a stunning property with beautiful gardens and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The room was luxurious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing retreat after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. The attention to detail in the room decor and amenities truly made me feel pampered. The dining experience at the hotel was exceptional, with a variety of delicious dishes that showcased the best of local cuisine. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making dining a true pleasure. Overall, my stay at Grande Roche Hotel was nothing short of perfect. The combination of top-notch service, luxurious accommodations, and beautiful surroundings made for an unforgettable experience. Grand Roche is beautifully nestled among the vineyards of Paarl, surrounded by a well-maintained garden. The hotel has a classic feel with a modern touch and offers stunning views of the mountains. Our rooms were very spacious and comfortable, with tasteful decor. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and dinner at the restaurant, and the breakfast was more than delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. A stay at Grand Roche is a luxurious and exceptional experience.

The accommodations were spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed the plush bedding and luxurious bathroom, which added to the overall feeling of indulgence.||||Dining at Grande Roche was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurants offered a diverse selection of gourmet dishes, showcasing the finest local ingredients and flavors. Love this beautiful quaint hotel set in an extraordinary location with magnificent views. ||Lovely modern rooms with ample space and all the necessary amenities.||Great dining , bar and lounge areas with an outdoor pool overlooking the mountains.||The cuisine was excellent with great service.||Truly a must to stay at Grande Roche hotel in Paarl.

What a setting: a grand manor house with really excellent gardens surrounding the various buildings. Beautiful views of Paarl and the surrounding area. Our rooms had a level down from the entrance where there was a small living room and a toilet. We slept in de bedroom upstairs, directly under the thatched roof. The bed was a bit small and the shower was small and outdated: I would have ripped the bathtub out to leave more room for a useable shower. The hotel staff was friendly, especially in the truly spectacular restaurant. We loved the food and being able to sit on the terrace in front, overlooking the gardens and vineyard.

This was my 3rd time back at Grande Roche. The venue, staff and service never fails to impress. The immaculate setting, the friendly and efficient staff and their can do attitude is what beings us back everything. As an organization we simply enjoy the amd appreciate the care and service we receive at Grande Roche. A hotel and conference venue of note.

Grande Roche Hotel is the most butiful hotel I've seen it has the best views on the room it has the best bar and the best conference room. The staff is olso kind and very helpful its a place i would not mind taking my family to one day its on my have to go back to list.

We have stayed here on 4 other occasions , but not for a while, we were so disappointed in the room we were first shown to, a 2 storey suite, in need of an upgrade . We changed to a terrace room, recently refurbished it was lovely a complete contrast, we did have to pay another 750R a night, but worth it. We has issues with the shower , it was not draining and flooded the bathroom every morning, it was reported to maintenance but it was not resolved , it stop it overloading the drains we ended up putting the shower on lower pressure which it did help.|During our last stay there was a gym which has now gone, but there are still signs up for the fitness centre which apparently went during Covid..|We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and one evening meal, the food was good a high standard. Staff were always happy to help with a smile
