Grandis Hotels and Resorts

This is the worst hotel that I have stayed in the whole of KK. ||As the rooms that is given to have this following problems||1. Cleaning cloth left behind by housekeeping||2. Carpet still have left over dirt and is not vacuum ||3. Religion necklace is left hanging on the lamp shade.||4. Boiling kettle still have left over water inside the kettle.||Despite all this we was given a room change and upgrade to a higher room but still the room is not up to standard. ||As the higher tier room the bedsheet and pillow have yellow stain. ||TV channel is not updated and carpark is still using the very old dated system and is damm expensive. Whereas other mall and carpark in KK have already been using contactless carpark system. ||Overall I can say is that the hotel standard have drop tremendously compare to the pervious time I have stayed before. ||Service level is definitely not there and hotel only welcome tours group guest and ignore local or individual guest. ||Definitely overpriced and not worth staying as there are better hotel in KK

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile.The location is convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions, shopping, and dining options. Breakfast was good and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt warm and welcoming.I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and good value.

After arriving in KK around 12:30 a.m. from Seoul, I was quite exhausted, but the warm welcome at Gayangis Hotel instantly made me feel at ease. Despite the late hour, every staff member was genuinely kind, patient, and attentive, which truly touched me. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful and added to the overall sense of comfort and care. This stay left me with a lasting, positive impression, and I sincerely look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Kota Kinabalu. 박헌하

We waited over 40 minutes to check in because both front desk staff were handling only a tour group that arrived at the same time. Individual guests were completely ignored, with no explanation or attempt to assist in parallel. I understand that group tours are important, but leaving other paying guests waiting for 40 minutes is not acceptable service. A fair check-in process or basic communication would have made a big difference. Very disappointing first impression.

I enjoyed the food and beverage in the hotel. Even has Senior discounts too. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is super spacious with a bathtub. Laundrette detergent has a lovely fragrance. 10/10 service. Stayed for five nights.Sin$100 good deal.

We stayed here after checking out from Marriot, because of its location, near to the Jetty and next to the Suria mall. We checked in the family room, which is very big. However, the hotel is a bit old, and some of the rooms are not clean. BUT, they immediately rectify the error by changing the room, made a sincere apology, even upgraded the room. This happened not to my room, but to my sibling. They actually wanted to check out and change another hotel, but they promptly rectify the problem and in the end, my sibling is happy with the new room.The location of this hotel is really great, with a good mall next to it, also a saefood restaurant not so far from it.My kids enjoyed the pool at the hotel very much.

Next to shopping mall, very convenient. Walking distance to Gaya street. Breakfast buffet abit boring, 80% same food every day.

Good location with good spread of breakfast. Hotel is connected to Suria Mall so is convenient. However my wife and I were badly bitten by bed bugs with red patches all over our legs. The bugs targeted mainly the legs and cause them to be itchy the whole day.
