Grandium Hotel Prague

This is a truly classy and modern hotel with an excellent overall experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel special from the start. I especially loved the spa and wellness area which was a perfect place to relax. They also have massage programs offered at very reasonable prices, which was a big plus. The rooms were modern, spotless and very comfortable, but the heating system could be a bit stronger or at least adjustable over 25°C for extreme cold winter nights. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city center on foot. I also loved the outstanding high quality breakfast. The only downside for me was the parking garage. Access involves a car elevator and once inside, the space is extremely tight. Getting your car in or out usually requires assistance from valet staff, so it’s not ideal if you need flexible access to your vehicle. It would have been helpful to know this in advance. That said, considering the general parking situation in Hungary, it’s manageable if you plan to leave your car parked for most of your stay. There are also other parking options near. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend the hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights in January and we had a really lovely time. The hotel was in a great location for visiting all the sights most within walking distance. Staff were friendly and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The hotel room was lovely however there wasn’t much space to put your belongings, a few drawers somewhere in the room would be beneficial rather than having bits out on the side. Great bathroom with a bath and shower and the bed was really comfortable. The rooms did get warm in the night and even with the temperature control on the lowest setting it was still warm.||Breakfast was okay. Some weird assortments as catering for lots of nationalities. Not much fruit on offer only apples, satsumas, grapefruit and oranges. I would have liked bananas. The freshly made omelettes were lovely and a good selection of pastries, yoghurts and cereal. Another little gripe was when the spoons by the yoghurt had all gone I asked a member of staff if they had anymore and I was told to go and look at the otherside of the restaurant and the spoons by the yoghurt were not replenished.||I would stay here again of if I was back visiting Prague.

​The hotel room was extremely spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. ​I was also very satisfied with the breakfast buffet ​The staff were very professional and polite. I accidentally left two travel adapters behind, but when I went back to ask, they managed to find them for me very quickly.

Stayed here for 3 nights while on a city break to Prague. |Excellent hotel. Very clean and comfortable. All the staff very helpful, friendly and spoke good English.|Our room was clean and was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Bed was big and comfortable. En-suite a good size with large shower cubicle but no bath. Slightly strange frosted glass sliding door into the en-suite. |Only had breakfast in the hotel but very good with plenty of choice of hot or cold food.|The bar was very pleasant with reasonable prices. The hotel will look after your luggage when you check out.|The hotel is situated in a central position for most of the tourist sights.

Perfect location. Nearby to train station and most of the attractions such as Old Town Square and Charles Bridge are within walking distance.

I don't think you did a good job. First of all, the service is not as thoughtful as I thought. Then, your cleaning didn't give us new ones after taking away our slippers, which is very bad. Then, your rooms are too small. Is this a four-star hotel? Finally, you can tell yourself how much a can of peanuts costs. But what is commendable is that the service of sending our luggage is not bad. That's what I want to say. You deserve to listen.

Our stay at the hotel was overall very good! Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable. The room was beautiful, nicely designed, and functional. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety of fresh and delicious options. The location is ideal — very close to all the main attractions and lovely areas of Prague, which made exploring the city super easy. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. The bathroom door doesn’t provide privacy, and the Wi-Fi connection was quite weak throughout our stay. The spa was disappointing — the massage didn’t feel professional, and the therapists seemed inexperienced. We also ordered room service, but unfortunately the food was very poor and even upset our stomachs. The à la carte dinner at the restaurant wasn’t any better — the dishes lacked both flavor and quality. That said, the hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location. With more attention to the spa and food services, it could easily become one of the top choices in Prague. We would stay again — but probably skip the restaurant and spa next time.

The hotel’s location, breakfast, and cleanliness were all excellent; the only thing missing was slippers in the rooms—if they add those, it would be perfect☺️. The staff were very friendly, and we were extremely satisfied with all of their services. The small surprises they left in our room for my birthday also made me very happy. If we come again, this would definitely be the place we would stay❤️

We stayed here for about 3 nights while in Prague. This hotel is centrally located in Old Town, so a lot of the touristy things are basically within walking distance. The room was very clean and just spacious enough for two. However, the shower was an issue. For whatever reason, the tub is only covered by a glass window halfway resulting in water being splashed onto the ground everyday after a shower. They do have breakfast from 7AM to 10:30AM. Breakfast does have an omelette station with your typical bread, yogurt, fruit, and meat (usually just bacon and sausage) stations. Their omelette was delicious, but does get a bit old after eating it for two days. Nonetheless, the fact that their breakfast ends at 10:30AM allows you to sleep in without missing breakfast is a huge plus. Overall, they have a pretty good range of food selections for breakfast. I also had dinner at Hotel Grandium as well. Honestly i was expecting overpriced, low-quality hotel food like in the U.S. I was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. I ordered the venison and a vegetable soup. The soup was a bit overly salted, but the venison was very tender and well cooked. I also ordered a mango ice cream for dessert. I like ice cream that is both a bit creamy and a bit icy simultaneously, which was exactly how the ice cream tasted. I also discovered another favorite Italian red wine (Lisini Brunello di Montalcino) at this hotel, so another shout out to Hotel Grandium for this achievement. If you are in Prague, I do highly recommend Hotel Grandium given its centrally conveniently located location, wide breakfast item selection, and quality hotel dinner.

Hotel Grandium has the best breakfast buffet. The hotel is also centrally located. It is walking distance to the famous sites like the Charles Bridge and the Astronomical Clock. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if the chance to return arises.

We spent a few days in Prague for a conference and stayed at Hotel Grandium. Rooms were clean and spacious enough for us. Hotel is located near Old Town and New Town. Great location as it is within easy walking distance of most popular sites. Breakfast buffet is good at the Hotel. They also have a bar with a very friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay!

Worst hotel I've ever been to. Move away Below is our experience. An unfriendly attitude of the staff and a lack of personal communication, very small rooms, a carpet that should have been replaced a long time ago and caused us an allergy, small transparent towels that should also have been replaced a long time ago, an aircondition that do as he likes, the view from the window is a wall about 50 meters away. Our friends we met at the hotel think like us. We will not go back there.

This is a very pleasant hotel right by where the action is in Prague. It's a really nice hotel - pleasant staff and beautiful decor. We had no issues with anything - I only mention that since a few of the review mention problems with their rooms. I was particularly pleased with the cafe. The service is great. And, the food was very good and reasonably priced. Right in the area are plenty of restaurants, many of which are classic Czech food. However, note that some of these are tourist traps - know where you go before you do. Also, there are some wonderful museums and historic buildings within walking distance of the hotel. Comments about currency exchanges - someone mentioned the rate at the hotel. While I can't comment on that, I can say there are places where you can change money at a fair rate. But, since Krona (Crowns) are only used in the Czech Republic, don't change too much or you will lose when you try to change the currency back.

I've stayed at a handful of hotels in Old Town Prague, and I would definitely stay here again when it's as good a value as it was for this stay. The historic building tucked away off the main streets is an easy walk to the train station and all of Old Town. There are to good Czech restaurants within a block. The lobby and rooms have all been made modern without being over the top. Included breakfast is very good, with just about everything an American, Brit, or continental European might be looking for. There was even sparkling wine for mimosas.

We had a lot of issues at this hotel as it pertains to the shower. They turned off the hot water one of the nights and I was unable to shower. I called the front desk at 9:30pm and was told that they run out of hot water because too many people showered so I have to wait half an hour. 3 hours later and still no hot water. The next day nothing had changed and when I called down to the front desk I was told that the boiler is broken and they are working on it. I couldn't wait around for them to fix the problem so I ended up washing myself with wet towels and using cold water in the sink to wash my hair. It was not a pleasurable experience as it was 30 degrees outside but I couldn't go 2 days without showering after walking 8 miles a day. On another day, our shower backed up and water was up to my ankles. I called maintenance who came down and "fixed" the problem. The next day the water wouldn't drain again and it flooded the bathroom and the nearby hallway carpet. I had to stand in ankle deep water at midnight and attempt to dry myself. One of their workers came up to my room and tried to clean up the mess with towels but the carpet stayed wet the entire stay. I was not offered any upgrades, apologies, maybe a free drink at the bar or anything else by management. I can see that another customer got upgraded to the suite for the hot water situation yet we had two issues and had to stay in a room with a wet entry way. Apparently I should have made a bigger deal of the issue but considering how busy our schedule was I just didn't have the time to complain over and over again. The positive aspects of this hotel are the following: -Location is pretty central but on a quiet street. -The breakfast buffet is very good and after leaving I missed having the ability to go downstairs and have breakfast that someone else prepares. Special shout out to the complimentary champagne and beet/apple juice shots. The neutral aspects of this hotel are the following: -Our double occupancy room was small, faced another building but had all you need. -The workers were nice and helped me with going on a tour but she also sent me to a metro station that was under construction and closed. I am sure most people do not experience issues like we did in regards to the shower and water shortages so I would not be hesitant to stay here if that is in your plans. However, management should have reached out to us after I complained numerous times and either moved our room or offered some small act of good measure which did not happen.

Great hotel! Very accommodating and very friendly staff! I was able to try out the spa and it was the best massage I've ever had. Delicious food, coffee and tea in the rooms, and the English speaking staff were helpful. Will be staying here the next time I visit the city. Thank you

Three night stay in deluxe double. PROS: Nice room, quiet side street, close to train station, trams and metro station. Hotel staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet from 0630 to 1030 is outstanding both in variety and quality. CON: Currency exchange at desk was less than 21 CZK for USD when market rate was more than 23.
