Granny Mouse Country House

Wonderful experience at Granny Mouse! A very beautiful hotel in a peaceful setting. Cozy fireplaces everywhere. The food was delicious — the best breakfast we've had on vacation so far (including Eggs Benedict!). Also, a lovely spa with a skilled and professional masseuse. Highly recommended hotel!

We recently stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel in the Midlands, KZN, and were completely charmed by its country-contemporary ambiance. Our room offered a breathtaking view of the river and waterfalls—a truly mesmerizing sight to wake up to each morning. What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff, whose warmth and attentiveness made us feel so welcome. They went above and beyond to ensure every moment was memorable, especially during a birthday celebration we had while there. Their thoughtful touches made us feel truly spoiled. We enjoyed every second of our stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat with outstanding service! Thank you Sean, Veronica and team!

Have been wanting to go for two years. Finally got there and was not disappointed! We received a glass of sparkling wine at arrival and were shown to our room by our personal host who was friendly and professional at all times. We got the deluxe suite, which had a lovely reading book and bath overlooking the river and mountains. The walk from the rooms to the restaurant is splendid! On return to our room after dinner we found they had closed all the curtains and folded the duvet for us to get into bed easily. What a treat! The spa on the premises was also fabulous. The river walk was gorgeous. The food in the restaurant was very good, but the service was slow and the waitresses seemed tired. We were there over New Year’s. Overall impression was top notch and I can definitely recommend Granny Mouse Country House!

I have been blessed to have been able to stay at Granny Mouse many times over the years. Special occasions such as 1 night for honeymoon, 1st anniversary and 25th anniversary. The staff are welcoming, the accommodation is fabulous and the food is delicious. They also host weddings, conferences and team building.

Food was great and the service even better. And for the guys!! Go do the spa with your wife, you can drink a beer and say a few swear word afterwards to feel more manly but you will definitely enjoy the massage. Shout out to the lady who made me relaxed again!! Thank you Sne

The quaint country hotel &spa with the BIG kick. OMG this team really knows how to deliver customer service. A weeks stay here was perfect. The food is gorgeous with plenty of choice and great wines. BIG shout out to Sean Granger , our cases got delayed and after the airline broke their promise to courier them to our hotel (AIRLINK) instead flying them to the nearest airport he went & collected them personally. THANKS again to Sean, Desmond (food & beverage) manager & Nontsikelelo front of house you could not have done more. Love this place, hopefully we will be back 🤗 . Do try the wine pairing in the cellar. Brilliant

The room a deluxe room, was just lovely with nice views . There were also nice gardens which we did not have much time to investigate. We are going again this year to put that right!|We enjoyed a good evening meal and breakfast the next day. |There were several cosy looking rooms which we did not have time to enjoy.
