Wow wow wow I don’t usually take the time to write long reviews, but Grappa truly deserves it. Every time I visit, I’m reminded why this place stands out so much. The food is beyond amazing , it’s the kind of food that makes you pause after the first bite because you can’t believe how good it tastes. Every dish comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavour. The gnocchi honestly melts in your mouth; it feels like eating soft clouds in heaven. And the pizza, it is by far the best pizza I have ever eaten. You can taste the quality, care, and passion in every single bite. What makes Grappa even more special is the service. The staff are warm, kind, and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. They make you feel genuinely looked after. The owner personally coming up to check that everything is perfect just shows how much pride they take in their food and their customers’ experience. It’s rare to find a restaurant where you feel both welcomed and appreciated the moment you walk in. Everything about this place is impeccable, the atmosphere, the food, and the people. Dining here feels like a treat every single time. Grappa is, without a doubt, the best restaurant I’ve eaten at in a very long time, and it continues to impress me visit after visit. I truly couldn’t recommend it more.

A great restaurant with top quality Italian food. Its got something about it and we saw lots of local Italians going there. Staff are very welcoming and nice. Only thing is plenty of people smoking outside, it was a bit of a bother when sat outside. Other than that, we had a great time.

We found this Italian restaurant on Google Maps, and it turned out to be very popular. We were excited to visit, and we absolutely loved it because the food was so delicious. The three of us ordered pasta, risotto, pizza, and bread with prawns — everything was amazing. The service was excellent, and the dining atmosphere was wonderful. Highly recommended!

Really great service and food came really fast. The owner was amazing too What i ordered: - burrata specials : not recommended, while the burrata itself was amazing. The whole dish was a not a good at all. The pairing was pretty bad - crab pasta: the flavour were amazing but the pasta on the overcooked side - lamb: the lamb itself were really nice, but the dish is lacking on the sauce. Extra sauce would be better imo - rocket salad: really good but drenched in way too much olive oil. - tiramisu: was too exy for such a small portion - creme brulee: this whole dessert is a completely let down. The strawberry jam was super sweet and unnecessary. The creme itself was wayy too eggy. - limone. This is the star of the whole night. It was amazing, no other words i can describe for this dessert. A def must try dish ⭐️

This is my favorite Italian restaurant and I have had so many celebrations from birthdays to christening and holy communion, and they have never let me down when it comes to their food and customer service. They are fine dining restaurant, but I find them to be quite affordable, the servings are large and I always have plenty to take home. My favorite dish is the Scampi and because I’ve been a customer for so long I tend to order from their specials menu. Their pizza is cooked in a traditional wood fire oven, the pasta is all homemade and they have a very large wine selection with a lot of imported and locally sourced. They make their own bread which you are given with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip the bread into as a complimentary starter. The owner Charlie always greets his customers with a smile and often stops to ask if we are enjoying our meal, all the staff are super friendly and very helpful especially if they are not sure about an item on the menu they will always ask the chefs. You have to try this restaurant because you won’t be disappointed.

Attended for a friend's Birthday The service was good with staff advising about food and different options No question was too hard. Lovely food when it arrived Service was very good and attentive.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Grappa , is located right at the start of Norton Street in Leichhardt, is a vibrant and authentic Italian restaurant. We came for dinner on a packed Saturday night—full of locals and families—and the atmosphere was buzzing which is a good sign! Service was warm and attentive, and the food was excellent from start to finish. We started with the stuffed zucchini flowers and seafood scallops—beautifully balanced with subtle Asian flavours. The truffle mushroom pizza was indulgent, and the crab spaghetti was generous with a lot of crab meat . The 200g steak so cooked perfectly and so moist. To finish, for dessert we had tiramisu coconut and passionfruit soufflé —light, tropical, and absolutely delicious. A perfect end to a fantastic meal. Grappa is definitely a place worth coming back to and I’ll definitely recommend it to others 💯
