Great Italian restaurant with a strong menu and an excellent overall experience. I tried both the swordfish and one of their pizzas. The swordfish was okay overall and may have been slightly overcooked, although that could also be the natural texture of the fish. That said, the sauce it was served with was absolutely outstanding and easily the highlight of the dish. The pizza toppings were amazing and the cheese pull speaks for itself. Personally, I am not a big fan of very thin pizzas (very doughy) as I prefer a bit more crunch in the crust, but that is simply my personal preference and probably my Italian bias showing. What really stood out was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing. You are made to feel comfortable from the moment you walk in, which adds a lot to the overall experience. Pricing was very fair. Two meals, two cocktails, and a bottle of sparkling water came to $110. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu, especially dessert.

Wow wow wow I don’t usually take the time to write long reviews, but Grappa truly deserves it. Every time I visit, I’m reminded why this place stands out so much. The food is beyond amazing , it’s the kind of food that makes you pause after the first bite because you can’t believe how good it tastes. Every dish comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavour. The gnocchi honestly melts in your mouth; it feels like eating soft clouds in heaven. And the pizza, it is by far the best pizza I have ever eaten. You can taste the quality, care, and passion in every single bite. What makes Grappa even more special is the service. The staff are warm, kind, and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. They make you feel genuinely looked after. The owner personally coming up to check that everything is perfect just shows how much pride they take in their food and their customers’ experience. It’s rare to find a restaurant where you feel both welcomed and appreciated the moment you walk in. Everything about this place is impeccable, the atmosphere, the food, and the people. Dining here feels like a treat every single time. Grappa is, without a doubt, the best restaurant I’ve eaten at in a very long time, and it continues to impress me visit after visit. I truly couldn’t recommend it more.

There is a big difference between service and hospitality and Grappa certainly understands Hospitality. We booked a table for 4 very last minute which Lily really worked hard to find for us. - she is excellent. The food was top notch - the best Italian in Sydney but the hospitality was amazing. All the staff were so good - attentive, friendly and professional. My wife mentioned to Charlie (the owner) that she loved the Italian singer Mario Biondi - guess who's music was played next - Mario's!! Thats hospitality. We will be back and you should visit.

A great restaurant with top quality Italian food. Its got something about it and we saw lots of local Italians going there. Staff are very welcoming and nice. Only thing is plenty of people smoking outside, it was a bit of a bother when sat outside. Other than that, we had a great time.

We found this Italian restaurant on Google Maps, and it turned out to be very popular. We were excited to visit, and we absolutely loved it because the food was so delicious. The three of us ordered pasta, risotto, pizza, and bread with prawns — everything was amazing. The service was excellent, and the dining atmosphere was wonderful. Highly recommended!

Grossly overpriced ordinary Italian food. Overcrowded with seats almost touching back to back. The service was rushed though generally OK. Time pressure to finish made our night rushed to the point we went up the road to get desert. The whiting was badly deboned and overcooked with only a lemon as accompaniment additional vegetables made it an extremely expensive meal. Granted it is popular, however nearby restaurants offed just a good a meal at a reasonable price

Really great service and food came really fast. The owner was amazing too What i ordered: - burrata specials : not recommended, while the burrata itself was amazing. The whole dish was a not a good at all. The pairing was pretty bad - crab pasta: the flavour were amazing but the pasta on the overcooked side - lamb: the lamb itself were really nice, but the dish is lacking on the sauce. Extra sauce would be better imo - rocket salad: really good but drenched in way too much olive oil. - tiramisu: was too exy for such a small portion - creme brulee: this whole dessert is a completely let down. The strawberry jam was super sweet and unnecessary. The creme itself was wayy too eggy. - limone. This is the star of the whole night. It was amazing, no other words i can describe for this dessert. A def must try dish ⭐️
