Grappa Ristorante e Bar

We found this Italian restaurant on Google Maps, and it turned out to be very popular. We were excited to visit, and we absolutely loved it because the food was so delicious. The three of us ordered pasta, risotto, pizza, and bread with prawns — everything was amazing. The service was excellent, and the dining atmosphere was wonderful. Highly recommended!

This is my favorite Italian restaurant and I have had so many celebrations from birthdays to christening and holy communion, and they have never let me down when it comes to their food and customer service. They are fine dining restaurant, but I find them to be quite affordable, the servings are large and I always have plenty to take home. My favorite dish is the Scampi and because I’ve been a customer for so long I tend to order from their specials menu. Their pizza is cooked in a traditional wood fire oven, the pasta is all homemade and they have a very large wine selection with a lot of imported and locally sourced. They make their own bread which you are given with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip the bread into as a complimentary starter. The owner Charlie always greets his customers with a smile and often stops to ask if we are enjoying our meal, all the staff are super friendly and very helpful especially if they are not sure about an item on the menu they will always ask the chefs. You have to try this restaurant because you won’t be disappointed.

Really great service and food came really fast. The owner was amazing too What i ordered: - burrata specials : not recommended, while the burrata itself was amazing. The whole dish was a not a good at all. The pairing was pretty bad - crab pasta: the flavour were amazing but the pasta on the overcooked side - lamb: the lamb itself were really nice, but the dish is lacking on the sauce. Extra sauce would be better imo - rocket salad: really good but drenched in way too much olive oil. - tiramisu: was too exy for such a small portion - creme brulee: this whole dessert is a completely let down. The strawberry jam was super sweet and unnecessary. The creme itself was wayy too eggy. - limone. This is the star of the whole night. It was amazing, no other words i can describe for this dessert. A def must try dish ⭐️

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Grappa , is located right at the start of Norton Street in Leichhardt, is a vibrant and authentic Italian restaurant. We came for dinner on a packed Saturday night—full of locals and families—and the atmosphere was buzzing which is a good sign! Service was warm and attentive, and the food was excellent from start to finish. We started with the stuffed zucchini flowers and seafood scallops—beautifully balanced with subtle Asian flavours. The truffle mushroom pizza was indulgent, and the crab spaghetti was generous with a lot of crab meat . The 200g steak so cooked perfectly and so moist. To finish, for dessert we had tiramisu coconut and passionfruit soufflé —light, tropical, and absolutely delicious. A perfect end to a fantastic meal. Grappa is definitely a place worth coming back to and I’ll definitely recommend it to others 💯

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Italian restaurant, and I was blown away by the quality and flavors of the food. The pasta, pizza, and gnocchi are all made from scratch, and it shows in every bite. The crab pasta was loaded with fresh crab, and the eggplant parmigiana was a game-changer. The Standout Dishes for me were; Homemade pasta Freshly made and full of flavor. Pizza A highlight of the meal, with a perfect balance of toppings and crust. Gnocchi Soft, pillowy, and made with love. Tiramisù A traditional dessert done perfectly, with a creamy mascarpone cheese mixture and ladyfingers. Gelato Handmade and unlike anything I've ever had before - rich, creamy, and utterly delicious. Affogato A perfect way to end the night, with a shot of espresso and creamy gelato. If you're a fan of authentic Italian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. The attention to detail, the quality of the ingredients, and the love that goes into every dish make it a truly special experience. I'll be back for sure!

From my first contact to the night of celebrating my daughter's 18th, both Lily and Irene where so helpful, caring, understanding and left no stone unturned with all my questions, emails and calls. It was Customer Service at its finest!! The night ran so smoothly and effortless. The food was AMAZING, the atmosphere FANTATIC. Our waitress Valentina for the night was BEAUTIFUL; she ensured that everything we needed was available and all whilst doing it with a smile and great kindness. Customer Service was exceptional and one we haven't experienced in quite some time. All our guests complemented on the amazing food in terms of quality, taste and great portion size. No one left hungry let's just say. I highly recommend Grappa Ristorante & Bar to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or just a night out for dinner. 5 stars rating all the way. Thank you, Grappa it will be a celebration that will sit in the memory bank as an AMAZING night had by us all.
