"This family-owned and operated Louisville newcomer serves equal parts fresh beer and live music. With a beer garden, taproom bar, and a food truck right outside, Gravely is the place to sit back, enjoy a Blood Orange IPA (named after Frank Ocean's album), and listen to the sounds of artists from near and far." - Michaela Bechler

Been to quite a few brewery’s in my days and this one has stood out. It has a lot of cool little features that makes for a good brewery. First the beers were great! The lagers were so good. Flights offered. The atmosphere is amazing. Plenty of seating in several different areas that offer several different experience. The highlight was the short walk upstairs outside to give you a nice view of the city. Service was amazing. Food was really good too. Elote, nachos and pastelitos were tasty! Good amount of parking for you to pull into. Plenty of good things to pass up a visit!

Vibe is awesome here. Decor is a jam for sure. The employees couldn't be more warm, welcoming, and friendly. The food is inappropriately good for the low menu price. The hangup is the hit or miss beer. I unfortunately experienced an American Amber ruined by diacetyl and a hop water that had promise but gave off an odd odor perhaps from the city water. As professionals, we have to be prepared to part ways (dump) a depressing amount of beer if it became tainted during the process whether through a mistake of ours or a fluke of nature, lest we be judged by the public due to willingly passing the bad beer to the tap. I would definitely give Gravely another try.

Google
Outstanding brewery in Louisville. Visiting from Cincy on a quick weekend trip and decided to grab some beer and food. Beer flight was outstanding! Beer is crisp, elegant, and delicious. They don’t have a kitchen but partnered with a Honduran inspired food truck and their food was insane! Pastelitos were made fresh and the salsa and toppings were great! Also, the atmosphere of this place is legit. Very eclectic and fun with great bartenders that made the evening even more memorable! Well done! Must visit!

Google
Louisville Brewery Hop, stop # 5. This was not on our original place to stop, but talking with bartenders at local breweries, this place was suggested. Love the collaboration between the local brews. Very unique place. I love the retro music feel with the decor and the music playing. Great view of downtown from the outdoor deck, but there are many steps to climb to get to the top. Tasty beer and great service. One downfall was the outdoor smell, as there was a faint smell of sewage that we could not tell where it was coming from. Otherwise it was a great visit to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful afternoon.

Google
Super cool place that also has really great beer. I found the place right around last call but the guys were super cool and let me get a couple half pours while they were cleaning up. They have a photo booth inside one of the rooms which is something I've not seen before and thought was such a great feature for a brewery. They also have a food truck permanently on site as well as an outdoor deck and above that a rooftop deck with a gorgeous view of Louisville. I would make sure you put this on your must see breweries in Kentucky.

Google
This place rocks! Good beer selection, excellent and fun branding & decor, solid service. Multiple rooms, each designed thoughtfully. Cool view of the skyline from the patio. The QR code menu was cumbersome, because it hides the type of beer somewhere in the text description, which may require expanding the description and hiding the other options. It was difficult to search quickly, unlike the traditional menu board up front.

Google
Lovely atmosphere for a Friday night!! Wonderful spot to bring the dog and have some excellent tasting beers. Great staff and tasty beers!

Google
Gravely has always had a great variety of top notch beer selections, and they still do. Had the great pleasure of getting to enjoy the delectable pleasures of Eliana’s Honduran Cafe today. The yucca fries and plantains were a fantastic start, and the pollo chuco is some of the best fried chicken ever made. Come and get it!

Cherise M.

Yelp
The food truck at Gravely is amazing! I'm a big fan of Honduran food, and this menu offers some creativity and brightness. Our food came out quickly and the portions were generous. I got the kids meal, because I wasn't that hungry, but it was delicious. Prices are reasonable too!

Alison R.

Yelp
Happy Hour Monday through Thursday from 3 - 5 offers all brews as well as wine and margaritas for $5. Beginning at 5pm you can enjoy apps and entrees from the on-site food truck. Ample seating both inside and out, continuous background music. They offer a rotating beer of the week priced at $4. Retro music designed bar.

Alex M.

Yelp
Really cool vibe really awesome brewery inside I mean if you're a musician fan this is the place to come and have a nice cold beer and enjoy all of the things they have in the walls and etc. Even if you don't like music I do think you would enjoy coming here Their beers were also good, and we did end up having some mixed drinks as well which we loved and next time you're here I suggest you try some other mixed drinks.

Yelp
Back in August 2021, Wifey and I traveled to Louisville, Kentucky. So Yes, this review is long overdue and things have changed. The day we arrived was a Sunday. During that time, there were a couple of food trucks working with Gravely Brewing. Happy Belly Bistro was one of them, and they were the reason we stepped into Gravely Brewing in the first place. Happy Belly Bistro did not disappoint. Nowadays, they have an exclusive food partnership with Lil Toasty's. What did I think of Gravely Brewing itself? I liked the ambiance of the place. There was seating both inside and outside. Cool vibe all around especially in the outside seating areas. Great place to hangout with friends and/or family. Service was efficient. Had me a Peach beer, and it was good. I'd return to Gravely Brewing the next time we are in Louisville because of the fine time we had here back in 2021. Sorry for this delayed review. Peach Beer

Yelp
Long time listener, first time caller! I've been a fan of Gravely for a long time but this was first time visiting the brewery. It also happened to be opening weekend of their new food menu. First, let me start with the service. Five stars. You have the option, to order via QR code at the table of have a very hospitable waiter/waitress serve you. I chose the QR CODE just because I live efficiency. The new food menu is awesome. We tried Major Tom's Tachos, and the grilled cheese incident. The Tachos were a great idea. They have pico and beer cheese. Be sure to take a bite with all the toppings combined. (MUAH-chef kiss) The grilled cheese was awesome as well. Pairs great with any beverage and college football. (I welcome your debate). We had sweet potatoe fries as the side and they too were delightful! I didn't sample any of the sauces but honestly, nothing needed sauce. We had the Janet IPA, I'd highly recommend if you're into IPA's. Very family friendly! We brought our kids (yes they have a kids menu) and they can get milk as a side. Our kids loved the quesadilla and the kids grilled cheese. We'll definitely be back to try the chicken tendies and other beers on tap!

Ray S.

Yelp
Good beer. Great view. Friendly service. I must admit I do miss Mayan Cafe on the menu.

Amber B.

Yelp
Best brewery in town! Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders: award winning beers and the best tasting craft beer in the city; and new fantastic, fresh, and delicious Honduran food from Eliana's (peep the tacos, quesadilla, and burrito). Gravely is not to be missed, one of the best spots in the city! Head to the top deck for a perfect view of the Louisville skyline!

Rachel L.

Yelp
Beers were great, beer-tender was very friendly and live music on a Saturday! The decor was amazing with all of the old record players and audio studio vibe. Which is reflected in my 4/5 stars. But .... The food from Lil Toasty's could have been better in very way possible. The burger bun was so soggy from the burger juices, it had to have been assembled 10 + mins before it was delivered to our table. The wings were soggy, the breading was non-existent, almost as if they were microwaved. The bratwurst was good but just plain, at least it was warm. The fries were the highlight. We were very disappointed.

Ben F.

Yelp
We brought the kids and it was an overall lovely experience! Great food, good drinks, fun time.

Amanda D.

Yelp
I honestly forgot how much I loved this brewery until some friends and I went to have dinner before other plans for the evening. Their new partnership with Lil' Toasty's is absolutely one of my favorite things. Coming into the brewery, there seems to always be plenty of available seating. They currently have QR codes on each table so you can order food and drinks. We each ordered a sandwich and a beer. I've enjoyed most of the beers that I've tried here and love the theme. Burgers came out hot and fresh. The seasoning on the fries is delicious and I really enjoy the ranch as well. I enjoyed my visit so much, I brought a visiting friend the following week. With patio season starting, I can't wait to come back and enjoy the patio here.

Heather M.

Yelp
I have been here off and on during the pandemic and post pandemic. I mostly come here for either Louisville Beer week, Ale trail or other special events. This isn't my regular go to brewery. The inside is big and spacious and there is bar seating. They also have outside seating and there is a spot up higher where you can see downtown Louisville. Sadly they do not do flights here but they do half pours. Over the years I have like the Mexican Lager and Sprockets the best. They did not have Sprockets (Mike Myers voice lol.) this last visit and I didn't even see it on the menu. It was my favorite not just because of the taste but it was named after the SNL skit from the 80s-90s. It was light lager type of taste. Now I absolutely love the Mexican lager but not as good as Sprockets. They did have a cocktail menu at one point in time as well. I'm not sure if they still do but I did have the Apple Pie cocktail and it was delicious. I do like this brewery, I don't love it but I do like it.

Jeff K.

Yelp
Just stopped in for a beer and had the chips and dip which was very tasty. Service was good due to the place not being that busy at the time. We had a good time.

michael h.

Yelp
Beer is amazing IPA's are epic. Great bartender. Friendly dogs. Great vibe Why do I have to post 85 caricatures.

Beccy K.

Yelp
Chicken quesadillas were delicious with best ever guac! Shout out to Mayan Street Crew who prepares the food in their food truck in back. The hot toddy was fabulous! Wonderful private event!

Sharayah M.

Yelp
Awesome atmosphere and delicious bar food. We had the Gravely, a sirloin sandwich with the sweet potato waffle fries. Served super hot and crispy. The sandwich didn't last 5 mins. Claire took wonderful care of us and was very knowledge about all the beers and spirits available. She was energetic and enthusiastic to take care of all the guest. Will absolutely be back and hope to make it as a new regular date night spot. 100/10 stars.

Yelp
The last time I was in Louisville was for the Kentucky Derby Marathon in April 28th, 2012 as a pacer for the 3:20 marathoners. Boy that's a long time ago but I digress. We stopped for lunch and a brew in Louisville and checked out Gravely. The parking is shared with the next door church and we avoided those parking spots unless there was some unspoken arrangement, which we didn't know about. The host set us up with outdoor seating and there happened to be another kid to play with for our young one too, which really worked out. The vibe is casuals and relaxed. The out door seating appears to be in three different terraces around the bring building. We were seated at the middle terrace which was level with the permanent food truck and a couple of archways that which probably let water out but it was dry. The interior decor was funky. They had a lot of audiophile type electronics plastered over the wall behind the bar and also some drum sets at the entrance as you walked in. Very creative. The host took our drink and food order. Frankly, the hazy selection wasn't all that impressive. However, they had a lot of fruit flavored experimental beers. We couldn't try the beers so I settled for the DIPA called Thunderstuck, named after AC/DC. Nicole settled on Pink Moon which was a Grapefruit IPA which I should have ordered. For food we had shrimp grits, and a burger which came with fries, and we added a side order of fries (because we didn't know the burger came with fries - doh - hate it when that happens). We enjoyed our time here and so did our little girl. We still had a bit of traveling to do so we kept our visit short and sweet. Perhaps the next time we are in Louisville we can try some of the other beers here.

Yelp
Why'd it take me so long to go here? Anyway, it's nice to finally be out and about, normal life without a mask. You have to wear one to go inside but most people sat outdoors. I'm fully vaccinated. Whew! Staff kept theirs on. Mayan Cafe has their food truck here so we all ordered. My sister got a chicken quesadilla, I had chips and guacamole, my friend had bean empanadas. They all could've had a bit more salt. Food was fresh though! Loved our server. Great personality and friendly! I had two half pint beers since they don't offer flights here. I got the Lavender Hill and Cherry beer. Lavender one wasn't really lavender-y. The Cherry one is a stout. Absolutely fantastic and one is recommend! My sister got the Roses beer while by friend got some sort of blue cocktail that has a wonderful coconut flavor. It was busy though! Lots of people coming in and out, enjoying themselves, talking, laughing. The weather was great too! Sit all the way up in the patio if you can. You can see a stunning view if the skyline! Parking situation was not bad at all! Park on the street. Their parking lot is so tiny! I found tons of spots on a street just perpendicular to it.

Lindsey M.

Yelp
The vibe is really cool. Great music! Great outdoor area. They also have a Photo Booth which I thought was near. It does cost $5 but worth it. The cons are they do not offer flights and the beer menu didn't really offer any descriptions of the beer. I got Peaches N Cream because I generally love sours. It was decent.

Amy H.

Yelp
The beers were great, but service was definitely on the slow side. We were greeted when we walked in and told to sit anywhere we like, inside or out. We grabbed a spot outside and waited for close to 30 minutes before anyone greeted us despite multiple servers walking by. We were just about to go back and order at the bar when someone asked if we had been helped yet. We watched this happen to several other tables despite not being very busy. Luckily, the Mayan Cafe as a permanent food truck location which helped with our patience level - the food did not disappoint! Hopefully the slow service was just a fluke!

MaryCarol K.

Yelp
Whether you're indoor or out this is a divine place to hangout. Catching a sunset on the back deck is great too!!

Laura H.

Yelp
Food was awful, drinks were good, service was adequate. Had hoped for a better experience but left knowing we would only be back for drinks if ever

Jeremy M.

Yelp
Great beer, great food truck, cool vibe. What more could you ask for in a brewery. Gravely has a great beer selection everything from sour to ipa. They also have the Mayan Cafe food truck onsite for eats everyday except Sunday.

Janet S.

Yelp
Have to try out local breweries when I visit new cities, have visited Louisville many times, but this was my first time visiting here! Loved the upper patio seating, and the many delicious beers! Couldn't do a flight but loved the two beers I had, as well as the loaded nachos as a nice snack with our beers! Great view of the city and also loved the brewery cats that came by to say hello!

Becca K.

Yelp
Only a one night stay in Louisville, so my boyfriend and I wanted something walkable from our Airbnb. Gravely Brewery fit the criteria, thanks Yelp'ers!! We walked about ten blocks from our spot and felt very safe/comfortable; off-street parking appeared to be plentiful, as were indoor/outdoor seating options. Inside is "zoned" in such a way that depending on where you sit you can feel like you're in a cool bar, or a hipster eatery, or a quaint comedy club, or all 3 at once... pretty cool!! Sampled Mayan Street Food's slow roasted pork tacos, chorizo & black bean salbutes, and smoked salmon salbutes, along with an excellent Mexican lager. Would have finished with a good looking churro, but ran out of room!! All items were tasty (including their unique jalapeno sauce which is served on the side), albiet a tad on the cool side. Not sure if that was due to distance from kitchen or speed of server pick-up, but tasty, filling, and reasonably priced meal nonetheless. Bonus was the free (donations accepted and appreciated via Paypal or Venmo) comedy show that consisted of 6 or 7 distinct acts!! I would enjoy sharing Graverly with friends, if they existed in my neighborhood!!

Mel D.

Yelp
This place is a great vibe. They have amazing beers and drinks. The food. Dope. We had burgers and tacos. All amazing. The drinks were good. We had beers and cocktails. I was visiting from Chicago and was not disappointed at all. I'll definitely be back

Christina R.

Yelp
Great local brewery with a great selection of beer! The Mayan Food truck is also there if you get hungry too! You can order, drink, and enjoy time with friends on their two outdoor decks or inside. I love the top deck that overlooks the city, and there is often great live music inside. A hidden gem.

Cathy F.

Yelp
We went to this awesome local brewery on a sunny afternoon and sat at the top of the outdoor patio. We enjoyed the cool view of downtown and the surrounding area! It was a great day, drinking with our friends as we enjoyed some of their great tasting beers! My favorites were the Crystal Method, a German-style Wheat Ale, and Analog, an Amber Ale. They do have a few cocktails as well. They are cashless, so make sure to bring card-based forms of payment. I can't wait to go back again and get to listen to some music!

Amanda L.

Yelp
I love the beer at Gravely. The place is pretty large and there's a great outdoor patio. It's really lovely when the weather is nice to sit outside. The Mayan food truck is also available. The food options are good. It's a bit pricy for the amount of food you get but the quality is great. Not sure if she belongs to the brewery but they've got a sweet cat that hangs out in the front of the building a lot. I've been to some trivia events here and just come to hang out with friends and have always enjoyed the experience. I'd definitely suggest checking it out, especially on a nice, sunny day.

Sarah C.

Yelp
Another legit spot in town I'd come back to! Especially when I can utilize that upper patio. Pros? Open environment with lots of seating Really neat patio with a view of the city! Fun bar setting with stereos playing old jams Clean bathrooms Merchandise/ folks selling local stuff at the front Staff has good knowledge of the beers Cons? Not my favorite beers in town, but all unique! Parking is a bit tight but that's typical for the area

Jessi W.

Yelp
Gravely has been my go to brewery since I moved to Louisville 2.5 years ago. Their outdoor seating area is awesome and very large. Their indoor area has a lot of seating, too, with a large bar and a projector screen that they bring out during big basketball games (and other events). I've never had bad service here, either! They have been pretty strict during COVID. Masks are enforced and the hostess seats you now. They do have an on-site food truck that sells burritos and other items. It's a little pricey in my opinion, but the food is good. My favorite beer there is the Doc's Hefe. They have wines as well if you're not a beer drinker. They're dog friendly, and if you're lucky you might get to hang out with one of their brewery cats that hang around!

Grace L.

Yelp
REALLY enjoyed visiting here! Drinks were ok tbh but enjoyed the Doc's hefe. The employees are friendly & explains the diff drinks well. We sat at the patio & it's both spacious inside and out. They have board games that you can play after handing your ID. They also have cats both inside and outside who let you pet them but if you're allergic, beware! They also have Mayan food truck here, and even though we didn't order food, i KNOW it's great bc i've been to the mayan restaurant in nulu. Ample parking space & great ambiance! Will be back

Courtney F.

Yelp
This place was SO great. We came on a nice day, so their patio seating was perfect. The parking lot is HUGE, which is great since they have a ton of seating for people. Inside was held to an extremely high standard for COVID - social distancing, masks, hand sanitizer, it was great to see and we felt very comfortable walking in. Their bar is HUGE and has a cool atmosphere. Oh and some very clean bathrooms. We got seated at the top of the outdoor seating, and the view of the area was really cool to see. It's definitely a unique spot. Service was super quick and great, payment is pretty much no contact (they use disposable stylus for transactions which was awesome). We didn't eat here, but they have a good truck out back that looked like it had some amazing, unique options. We thoroughly enjoyed the feel of the place and the atmosphere. It was the perfect stop for a delicious beer and to enjoy the city. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to check it out!

Brittany C.

Yelp
Absolutely great place. I'm not really a beer drinker and if you are wanting to try some, definitely get the half pints. I got three of them to test and my favorite was gimmie more! The hostess was super friendly and flexible with where we wanted to sit outside. The aesthetics were great too! They are taking covid very seriously. So serious that they won't touch your debit card or take a photo for you so, I would recommend asking someone who isn't an employee. I would also recommend having a card on you if you plan to drink. Overall a good place to try and visit! Even if you aren't a beer drinker, there is something to try and like. I would give it 4.5 stars!

L S.

Yelp
Hands down the top patio has the best view of Louisville for sipping some extra good brews. Favorite summer beverage found here is the Peach Gose that has a great taste with a hint of lemon tartness. Extra relaxing vibe here with tons of outdoor seating that is dog friendly and they do have some casual brew cats strolling about. Also there is a permanent food truck here If beer is not your beverage of choice, have them whip up a mixed cocktail.

Amanda J.

Yelp
I really love Gravely! It has been such a welcome scene to the beer scene in Louisville since they opened last year. This brewery has ample space--including a spacious bar, a stage, room to reserve (I think I saw a small birthday party there recently), outdoor spaces, and other nooks and crannies. You can order at the bar, or you can have a seat and a server will help you out. You can also order food from the permanent food truck, which pairs nicely with the beers. I love the little touches, from the seasonal beers to each beer having a suggested song pairing. Just lots of fun little things make it even more special. I feel like there's a beer for everyone on the menu. Last time I was here, I tried a coconut chocolate stout and then a lighter Cowboy Dan. Turn That Cherry is a fun sour I also recently had. Honestly, I don't think I've had a beer here I didn't like. There is a parking lot in front of Gravely, but it's usually full. I've never had a problem parking on a nearby street for a very quick walk, so I imagine you won't either.

Chris L.

Yelp
We were walking around town on a pleasant evening, and tried to find some breweries. This was really a pleasant surprise. Really nice service with a huge selection of Brews that they make right here. There is also a window where you could look into the brewery and watch the brewmaster Brew I am guessing that is called Gravely because it's near so many cemeteries but I will have to ask and get back to you. Update our nice server said no no it is not called Gravely because of all the graves. Rather, it is called that because that is the owner's last name. Sorry about that.

Julie M.

Yelp
So the food at Gravely is actually from a food truck on their back patio called Mayan Street Food. I ordered the Beer-battered fish tacos with guac, and fries. They were just...OK? Like its been a little over a week and I genuinely cannot thing of one aspect of the food that really stood out to me. I feel like you should come here just for the drinks, and the really cool patio that I only saw a tiny bit of because it was overcast and kind of rainy the day I was there. Cool interior though, looks like a neat place to hang out

Leslie W.

Yelp
There are so many things I like about Gravely. Firstly, there are multiple areas to meet one or a dozen of your closest friends for a drink and a nosh. Inside at cool tables, inside at the bar, outside on the lower patio, outside on the upper patio. We went on Oaks Day around dinner time. There were kids and dogs abound outside and loads of Star Wars (May the 4th Be with You) playing on the back wall inside. We went with a table in the lower deck. My second favorite thing is that you can get good, I mean really good, food to go with your beer (or wine or cocktails). Mayan Cafe is an amazing restaurant and so is their permanent, food truck at the brewery. We shared a large guacamole, an order of black bean salbutes and another order of smoked salmon salbutes. Everything was fresh and delicious. I washed my food down with a Hefeweizen ($3.50 for a glass) while my friend had the blood orange beer. We both loved our food and drink. I was feeling like something sweet after our meal and decided on a cocktail - the Blister in the Sun (love a Gen X reference). The pink beauty came in a champagne glass and was a frothy confection of rum, grenadine, and I think something coconut. It was swell, only I drank it in like 4 sips. Not a very large drink for $10, but delightful just the same. The staff outside were running their behinds off serving the upper and lower patios, but were always helpful and friendly. Our food came promptly but we did have to wait a while for our second round, for which our server apologized. The atmosphere was laid back, the people nice, and the food/drink excellent. Only drawback is parking, but that won't stop me from going back. There seems to be plenty of street parking nearby after 6 pm.

Lissette F.

Yelp
If you're looking for a spot to go hang out with some friends this is it. Every time I go o forget to take picture because the vibe in there is so laid back. The food from Mayan food truck is delicious. I'm a big fan of their guac! Parking can be a pain depending on what day of the week and time but it's Bardstown Rd so what else can you expect. They have a wide variety of beers to choose from and the staff is super friendly and helpful with recommendations. This has been a go to spot for us for a couple of years now! If you're in the area I highly recommend it.

Leah M.

Yelp
We love this place! It's the perfect spot for grabbing some drinks... especially in the summer. The bar is super nice, but unfortunately it's closed right now due to Covid. We were sat at a table in about five minutes. Masks are required when you're moving around in the bar, so be sure to bring some. They do sell them if you're in a pinch. We requested the rooftop because the view is beautiful. There are quite a few steps, but totally worth it in our eyes. Our server was very nice and checked on us continuously-- he also rocked a sweet Childers mask so he's a winner in my book regardless of the service. Totally recommend stopping by here for a beer with your significant other or your friend group. Perfect for both!

Jessica S.

Yelp
I love this place- they always have a great staff, fast service, and great beers. It is my go to place when I am waiting for my table in the area or when I am meeting up with friends. There is also a food truck out back, super cool place overall.

Niki B.

Yelp
I FELT SO COOL HERE. Definitely the trendiest brewery I've ever been in. It was like an artsy brewery with a club vibe. We walked in on a Friday night and there were neon signs glowing, a photo booth room, a game closet, bumping music and tons of little tables. Everyone was super hipster and the list of beers all had fun names. They also offered some fruity cocktails and food items.

Tammy Q.

Yelp
This place I is my all time favorite Louisville brewery. Their variety of beer is always spot on no matter what you prefer from hoppy to wheat. Our latest visit I told our bartender I couldn't wait for the Doc Hefe to come back out and aHe made my day by telling me they had it in bomber bottles. Yes I'll take 2 please!!! We also noticed a cat prowling around inside the brewery so I asked if they allowed pets. Well unfortunately the cat belongs to the brewer and has special privileges. If you want to bring an animal you're more than welcome when it's warmer outside to have them on the patio. I am a little disappointed in this but rules are rules.

Shelby Z.

Yelp
Louisville is not short on beer options, I know that for a fact. Most that I have experienced in this city are great, but I think Gravely may be one of my new favorites. This is a very hip and happenin' brewery on Baxter, and you'll find it pretty busy on the weekends. Nevertheless, they have plenty of areas to hang out, one section even including a stage for bands/drag/events. In the summer it gets even better, where they have a ton of outdoor seating..including their skyline patio with a gorgeous view! While many breweries do not have food, Gravely's got you covered with their Mayan street food truck. I have not tried it myself, but may have had my mouth watering over the look of someone else's nachos. I love me some sour beers, and their Raspberry Ambre does not disappoint. Gravely has got it going on. They also hold all kinds of events, so it's never a boring day here.

C D.

Yelp
Gravely. A great experience all around. Cool hip brewery, great staff, spacious. Outdoor patio, food truck, dog friendly, fun bar to sit at and meet people. And the beers are good. One of the best spots in Louisivlle

Yelp
I had an excellent first experience at Gravely the other night. I was a bit worried since I am not a beer drinker but the cocktail was seasonal and interesting. I liked the Spice up your life cocktail which basically put a winter twist on sangria. I also tried the We Got the Beet which was a beet juice margarita (much better than it sounds). To eat, our table ordered beer cheese, guacamole and then I had the chorizo mayan tacos and tried some of the quesadilla. ALL of it was top notch flavor and I recommend ordering any of these. Our server was friendly and put up with our table with a smile on his face. The atmosphere in here was cool..sports one, bluegrass music playing, board games, brewery cats wandering around. I dug the vibes and I'm certain that I will return.

Yelp
I've been to a couple breweries in Louisville and I have to say this is my favorite all around! Best beers, best vibes, best seating, best food options. The brewery itself is surprisingly big and has several options for seating to accommodate your groups vibe for the night. They even have rooftop seating in the warmer seasons that looked really really cool. I got a honey pale ale and I loved it! It was smooth and light but definitely had a honey taste that made it slightly sweeter. They had tons of stuff to choose from so I'm sure no matter what your beer preference is you would find something you liked. My friend's and I sat near the photo booth (very nice touch to the ambience I must say) and played games as we sipped on our beers. It was the perfect chill start to the weekend.

Yelp
Gravely's flagship beers may be the best the city has to offer right now. If they grudgingly served them in paper cups at Taco Bell and paired drinks with Crunchwrap Supremes and Dorito Tacos, I'd probably still be on board. So the fact that they instead put as much effort into providing a courteous waitstaff, a nice space, and food from the legendary Chef Ucan means I'm going to be here. A lot. Especially when the weather is right for that patio. For my money, the lagers here are spot-on. For a city with so much German influence, Louisville brewing is a bit weak on lagers, so this was a pleasant surprise. But if that's not your go-to, you'll probably do just fine with your favorite style. Gravely has only been open for about 5 months as of this writing, but they've already achieved a remarkable consistency. I imagine this young business is still going to evolve a lot in the next several years. All I can say is they are off to a great start.

Yelp
I went Gravely on a Friday night when a country group was playing live and the place was crowded. We had to wait for a table to free up. We wanted to sit at a table because servers come to the tables to take orders, which was easier then the crowded bar (plus we ordered food and who wants to stand and eat). I order the smoked salmon salbutes ($10). They were small but packed with flavor! You get 2 per order. The beer is was good too. I enjoyed a few different ones that were on tap that night. I would like to go back on a warm day and experience the patio area and tunnels.
