After traveling for over 24 hours and arriving during a heavy rainstorm in traffic from the airport, I had the misfortune of encountering Woody at check-in. He clearly wanted to put on a performance in front of his coworker by greeting a weary traveler with a condescending attitude declaring that Platinum benefits would not be available to me. His reason was that this was not the US and things are different in Korea. Without knowing what country I had just arrived from, he decided he knew everything and I as the guest did not. |Since I was staying for a week and everyone else I encountered at the hotel was ready to provide great customer service, my stay improved after check-in. After an email to the manager, I hope that Woody did indeed receive additional training in hospitality and customer service. In particular, for seasoned world travelers who have been traveling the globe since before he was born.||Accommodations were nice in a fairly new building, breakfast buffet was good, housekeeping was great, overall customer service was very good. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again. Although, I would email the manager at the hotel prior to arriving, in the interest of avoiding another inhospitable greeting from Woody.
