Everything about Graylynn was excellent. Our bartender (with pink hair) was very kind and great at her job. The drinks were fantastic, but the food was even better. The duck leg risotto and mini beef wellingtons were so good.

Google
Great food, great atmosphere, great staff! Had the rum butter escargot... out of this world! (Don't tell my French friends!) Also had the duckwings and risotto...🤤 Would have it again! DELICIOUS!

Google
Food was good but portion sizes for prices were insane. Oysters on the sheet were $40 for a dozen. Which is insane but we were charged $42. Then the pre selected tip when paying starts at 20% and goes up to 30%. 30% tip? Insane.

Google
What a perfect place for an amazing night out for dinner! I was absolutely blown away by the entire experience. The waitstaff there is really kind and friendly, the music and ambiance of the entire place is awesome, the meals were stunning, and the cocktails were incredibly impressive (especially for me not being super into gin, I loved the special cocktail they had going the night we came in)! The duck wing risotto was delicious and very filling, the hand pies they had that night as a special were perfect, and we're glad we tried the sticky figgy pudding for dessert because it ended up being the perfect way to cap off an already impressive dinner. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!

Try the scotch eggs and go out on a limb with the cocktails! We tried the Avant Gardener special, and the Slow Jazz. So delicious. The atmosphere is chill but fun, and the staff is wonderful. Our bartender Katie offered an amazing personality, great conversation and *perfect* cocktails. We chatted with GM Sarah and she was wonderful. Check this place out and you won’t be disappointed.

Google
I don’t care much for gin, so one time I walked in, told the bartender I don’t like gin and please change my mind… and she did, three times with three different drinks. Great atmosphere, fun vibe in the middle of downtown Buffalo. Look out the big windows to see the hustle and bustle of Buffalo, with people, bikes, cars and the light rail going by outside. Very much recommend!

Google
Whether you're a local or an out of towner this spot is a must go to! It's classy, yet laid back. The food is so elevated, as if you were eating at a Michelin star restaurant. Not your typical dishes either, the chef is always putting together some combinations of foods and turning them into masterpieces. I wouldn't say kid friendly, but only because if you have a picky eater, they probably wouldn't enjoy the menu. Staff is so wonderful, bubbly, and extremely knowledgeable. A definite go to for us! Here's their beef wellie!

Google
Very neat little spot. Gin bar with tons of options. Worked in the liquor industry and have never seen so many different gin bottles. Not against him, just typically a bourbon guy. Mentioned that to the bartender and she goes "have just the thing". Barrel aged Gin Manhattan. Was exceptionally good. Food has a unique and different take but also was really good. Really cool spot. Definitely worth checking out! Thanks guys!

Yelp
Went here for dinner after seeing Hamilton. We were pretty excited because many people gave us raving reviews...well we were pretty disappointed. Service was great! Our server gave us really good recommendations and was helpful with picking out non-alcoholic drinks. Both of us got mocktails, which were quite delicious. The escargot and the scotch eggs were great as well. The entrees though was where things went a bit downhill. My risotto was pretty bland and my husband's duck breast was cold by the time his plate came out. The duck was a bit under towards the middle and the asparagus was very much raw. We also got the grilled cheese to go. While it smelled divine, it was just okay. I would have liked more green apple and prunes in it. Hoping this was a one-off and that it will be better next time!

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Buffalo got even better! 1. A true espresso martini is now on the menu. - can be made with Gin or Vodka. 2. The Chicken Milanese is done perfectly and ask for Tabasco sauce on the side for a little spice. The bartender Nico was a great host and I ate at the bar early. 10/10 i cant wait to go back.

Yelp
My husband and I came here after seeing the Lion King at Sheas because we wanted something within walking distance and because of the scotch eggs. If you're thinking about it, just order them, SO GOOD! I ordered the grilled cheese, I was a little hesitant because it's not your usual grilled cheese but I'm glad I tried it, the different cheese and apples were a good touch to it! The creme brûlée also had more of a cinnamon taste to it but it was still good. The service was excellent. The place is very cute.

Yelp
I just LOVE Graylynn's!! Why do you ask ? Because they took gin to the next level!! I'm not a fan at all of gin, but what they do is amazing, and I will come again and again !! Graylynn gives me like a café feel, and there is always something different there ! Super cute vibes, a place where u can dine solo without awkwardness but also go on date or with a group of friends. I've gone for a ladies' brunch before, loved!! Today came during happy hour $6 Art Pop Negroni with Strawberry Targon Tonic and $6 Fish Sandwich with Curry Beer Batter? ! Yassss !! Off regular menu, I got the Southbound, Graylynn's version of a spicy marg!! Made with Prickly Pear and Orange Blossom Gin. Very nice, not too spicy, either. But this Parmasean Ice was everything and so much more!! Sweet but not too sweet, kinda reminds me of a Creme Brule, not the texture but flavor. You just gotta try it !! Overall, super experienced staff, fast service, what's not to love ?!

Yelp
I reached to the BuffaloFoodSlut on IG for her suggestion for the best martini in Buffalo. Her advice to go to Graylynn was spot on. As an out-of-tower, I didn't know what to expect, but I love that this is a gin bar. Gunpowder Gin is my go-to, so I had a fabulous martini before we headed to our next stop for dinner. I only wished they had blue cheese olives. For my next visit, I know my first stop for cocktails!

Yelp
Best gin and tonic in town! Their homemade tonic is a game changer. Stopped in before Shea's and it was a perfect pre-show happy hour.

Yelp
We had wanting to try Graylynn and were presented with the opportunity while waiting for an artists set at Mohawk. We walked over to see what might be open for some food and a fancy drink and decided on Graylynn. It's very nice inside the restaurant and we were seated with a good view outside and of the bar. We tried the escargot, scotch eggs, and split a mortadella sandwich and a crème brûlée. We also had a single gin drink each. As I recall it was summer and mine was cucumber melon based. They seem to rotate their drinks by season. Both drinks were very nice. All the food was quite good and the take on the classic fried bologna sandwich of Buffalo using mortadella instead was fabulous. Scotch eggs were perfect and the portion was surprisingly two of them. Escargot was perfect and the oysters were fresh though we were not super impressed with the embellishments that didn't highlight the oysters as much as some do. Service was good and a midweek evening is a great time to have a quieter atmosphere where this restaurant will not be quite as packed. Would like to visit again soon and highly recommend you try it one night for good food and drinks downtown.

Yelp
Superb service. The gin is worth a stop on its own, their list is global and deep. My server helped me choose some and I really enjoyed the house-made tonic. Our food was good as well, a blend of English and continental flavors. My curry breaded haddock sandwich was a real value at happy hour and tasty. Lovely view from the patio.

Yelp
Great ambience but really loud everyone's under 30 -the food slaps especially the homemade pickles it's all about the pickles. I had Kofta burger with fries. It was excellent and I'd come again anytime.

Yelp
Graylynn was across the street from the hotel I was staying at in Downtown Buffalo. I decided to walk in and have a quick drink and I'm glad I did. Graylynn is a gjn bar with a huge selection of gins from all over the world. The ambiance is very inviting and the cocktails were on point. I got to try some rare gins that I had never seen elsewhere. The staff was very friendly and recommended me gins to try. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Buffalo.

Yelp
Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Went here for my birthday and they brought out the cake we brought with candles and cut and served it for us!

Yelp
I loved this place! Especially for a Happy Hour in Downtown Buffalo. The Gin selection was amazing, the food- delicious and the vibe was stylish & cool. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
My partner and I took a day trip to Buffalo and stopped into Graylynn for brunch. The restaurant is cute and has quite a hipster vibe. Our server was very friendly and on top of everything. I had the Breakfast Butty and my partner had the Fried Mortadella. Both were huge and we didn't realize the sandwiches and had a side of the potatoes as well. The potatoes were delicious as were the house made kettle chips. Everything was great, would definitely go back if in the area again.

Yelp
Server was so sweet loved her. Great place for drinks and apps. We got the cheese board. Such fun ambiance
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the beef wellies to go. It was a piece of steak in puff pastry and came with 3 carrots and 3 sauces. The meal itself was good and not a ton of food, which is good if you want to try their apps or desserts. Most tables are small, like 2-4 people, so this isn't a place for a large group. Service was good. I ordered my takeout order directly from the hostess. The only downside was that not everything is available for takeout (such as their Shepards pie). Ambience was dark and felt hip and slightly upscale.

Yelp
seems cool inside I sat on the patio on this chilled windy Thursday mid September. Quick service from my server Cheryl, ordered a negroni and was enjoying it until a couple of bees decided to join. I tried the oysters ceviche small oyster shells (4) with crab and oyster scallions topped with caviar tasted very good. As an entree I had the bratwurst accompanied by purple cabbage slaw and German potato salad also very pleasing. All the food was restaurant made and outstanding. I can't wait until I come back. I am not a gin drinker but I enjoyed the second drink pop art negroni both were happy hour selections. This may be the GIN talking but,I'm coming back!

Yelp
It's lovely here. Stopped in before the Sabres game. Sat at the bar. The bartender was very pleasant and kind. Always had a smile. Same with the waiter. Both of whom explained in detail our food and drinks - rare service these days. I ordered a Northman and a Tom Collins to drink. Both outstanding. Northman, despite the name, is quite girly looking. I have no shame about it but just an FYI if you're taking a young lady here on a first date. The TC was incredibly refreshing. If you're not a "gin person" I strongly urge you to tell the bartender what kind of cocktails you're into and they'll whip up something similar. Ordered the charcuterie board. The only bad thing on there was the salami. It tasted like dog food. I would take that statement with a grain of salt. My favorite salami is the cheap hard variety at the Wegman's deli. Every other item on the board was amazing and of the highest quality. From the grapes to the nuts to cheeses and other meats. I was even eating the jam by the spoon. Got a $100 gift card for a gin lover's birthday. I love it here.

Yelp
Excellent waitstaff patient enough to happily check with kitchen on ingredients, it's one of the better businesses in the area that is consistently happy to accommodate my scary food allergies. Menu is always interesting, and food quality has always been very good. Drinks, including NA, are the best! We love the vibe, always a good variety of music at volume low enough for chatting but loud enough for privacy. Great urban view, with cozy booths in the back. Bathrooms are always clean, and I get the overall impression that staff takes pride in their work. Always our first choice for dinner & cocktails on theater nights!

Yelp
Graylynn is a great spot for a drink and a bit to eat. The fries are wonderful. Get some mussels to go with the fries. They have lively things to drink and the service is great. The kids working there seem like they really enjoy it. I wouldn't say it's a dinner destination but it's a great hang for drinks and a nosh.

Yelp
A lovely time was had tonight at Graylynn. In town staying near and wanted a more upscale experience than a chain place. Starting with the cocktail menu - the wide assortment of gins available was heavenly. The staff was well trained on the offerings and we both had great cocktails and one flight to taste (the Negroni one). As it was the end of their 'week' the one thing we were most excited to try on the menu wasn't available but we still had a nice Wellington (me) and sandwich (my friend). I would absolutely recommend this place for folks downtown looking for a nice meal after work or before a show at Shea's. It was a Monday so we just walked in to grab a table so not entirely sure how much a reservation is needed the other days of the week. If we can manage it with our schedule we will be back again this week to try other things on the menus.

Yelp
This place was a great! Nice ambiance inside, strong drinks and wonderful food. We had the rum butter escargot to start, and it was delicious. The escargot was perfectly chewy without being tough, and the rum butter added a decadent taste and velvety finish to the dish. I would go back just for that plate. The pink fennel salad was also good, and the squash soup was warm and hearty. For dessert, we split the figgy pudding, which came with a toffee sauce and scoop of ice cream. The pudding was warm and the melting ice cream on top created the perfect bite. Would definitely return to eat here next time I'm in the area

Yelp
You know it's a great spot when your biggest complaint is that there are too many delicious sounding menu items to choose from. I liked that they offered unique dishes like Scotch eggs and bacon butty; lots of English flair. *Pasties (Cornish Beef)- The gravy was drinkable it was so good. I believe it was rosemary that came through and had me wanting more. The pasties themselves were nice flaky dough pockets of roasted vegetables and delectable steak. Need I say more? (Also, each order comes with 3 pasties). *Fish & Frites- Great crispy beer battered fish that wasn't overly greasy. The housemade tartar sauce is phenomenal. It had some great warm seasonings to it, maybe curry or garam masala. The fries were addictive with the Old Bay. *Aubrey's Roast Beef- Reminds me of the fancy version of Arby's roast beef and takes me back to my childhood. Loved every part of this sandwich. All dishes had a couple of homemade pickles on the side. They were soft with a strong vinegary taste which I happened to love. Service was friendly and timely. I enjoyed people watching; the servers/bartenders had such fun outfits. I hope to be back before a play at Shea's. It would be great if they were opened on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Yelp
The Graylynn is an elegant space to grab a cocktail on Main Street. From the patio by the train tracks to the exposed brick interior to the servers dressed in seersucker, the place radiates throwback style in a way that ought to seem pretentious and affected but somehow doesn't. The drink menu is overwhelmingly gin-focused, which in a way is regrettable for me, as gin is by a distance my least favorite of the white spirits. And yet, after talking with the well-trained and knowledgeable servers, I still manage to get a gin cocktail that I enjoy. It's a place to stretch your drink palate, I guess? Skip the beers and go straight for one of the specialty drinks on the menu--you'll thank me. There's also a nice and imaginative mix of hot and cold n/a drinks for those disinclined to imbibe. The food menu is mainly very small and somewhat pricey tasting experiences like escargot and pomme frites. If you order enough small plates to fill you up, you may go broke, so I suggest grabbing a taco on the way there. Everything is, however, well-prepared and you can eke out a vegan experience if you look at the menu hard enough and ask for some modifications. I find the eating experience at the Graylynn a bit less satisfying than the cocktail experience, but it's still good. But for drinks and atmosphere, you'd be hard-pressed to find a place in Buffalo that tops it. I'll be back.

Yelp
Totally great drinks, really good food and they will let you reserve the lounge space if you want to meet a bunch of people for a birthday. Only charged my friend $10 to cut a birthday cake. I just love it here.

Yelp
Food was super tasty and fast. The servers were very kind and helpful. The bar itself has a great vibe and good cocktails (especially as a gin lover!)

Yelp
I take good Pleasure of taking in downtown and all the Great Food that's within the City. I never thought that I would make it here, but after my brother Nathan messaged me on Facebook asking what I was doing on a Thursday night, how could I say No (its easy sometimes though). He needed to discuss some things with my Uncle Rick and I suggested this Restaurant downtown for us to meet up with him. After my Shift at Sister's Hospital (2 1/2 Hours) of waiting after my Shift, Nathan kindly picked me up so we could go downtown to meet with Rick. This is like a Pub with Global Influences and most notable for serving some of the Best Gin-based Cocktails in Town. Me and Nathan walked in and was sat over in the Far corner until Rick arrived, while waiting for him I ordered myself a Drink, a tall one called The Northman. Consisting of Aquavit, Beyond Tropical Gin, Kronan Punch, Creme de Cassis, Honey, Ginger & Lime. Tall Drink that was vibrant like a Lava Lamp that had a sweetness that wasn't too overbearing topped with crisp slice of Lime. Rick got an extravagant Appetizer of Oyster and Crab Ceviche on the Half Shell topped with a generous dollop of Caviar. Me and Nathan each got an order of Scotch Eggs, Smoked Eggs that were encased in Cumberland Sausage then breaded in Panko Breadcrumbs and then Deep Fried. It came a brown Sweet & Spicy Mustard Sauce, Crispy Outer shell, Rich Smoky egg yolk inside makes this a great dish to have for Brunch. Nathan got himself some Kofta or Hand Pies that were filled with Beef & Lamb along with Red Onions and Garam Masala. Came with some Housemade Pickles and Tzatziki Sauce, the Pastries were Golden Brown, Meat was well seasoned inside. Next up was Rick getting a Salad of Butter Greens Pickled Fennel, Prosciutto, Parmesan, Pine Nuts, Fennel Pollen and a Blood Orange Vinaigrette. Both Sweet and Salty going on with those Fresh Greens and a Vinaigrette that was light. With how cold it was outside, I couldn't resist a bowl of Curried Squash Soup topped with Coconut Milk and Pumpkin Seeds. The Coconut Milk was in a Pattern on top of the Soup which gave it some sweetness to balance out the soup as it was rich with Spice and the Seeds afloat provided some Texture. Even better for me was the Bread on the side that I used for Dipping into the Soup. Then I ordered my 2nd Drink of the Evening, a Yin & Yang, Dark & Light contrasting Cocktail called Light After Dark. It had Cocoa Nib Infused Alpine Summit Gin, Creme De Cacao, Genepy, Lillet Rouge, Whole Egg and Aztec Bitters. The Cocoa Powder on top represented the Dark and the Egg White represented the Light, a Decadent Drink at best. For our Entrees, Nathan got their Chicken Tikka Masala over Saffron Rice with Coriander Crema and Naan Bread. Nate told me that it was good, not Great, while he loved the flavor of the Curry, he wasn't crazy for the Rice and the Naan Bread lacked Garlic Flavor. Rick got himself a Hearty Shepherd's Pie that came out to him in a Piping Hot Cast Iron Skillet with Guinness Stew, Lamb, Peas, Carrots, Corn and a Baked Parmesan Potato Topping. For me I went on the more adventurous side and got their Seared Duck Breast (rubbed with Sumac & Juniper over a Apricot Mustard Sauce with Speck wrapped Asparagus and Roasted Fingerling Potatoes. I've never met a Duck with such Crispy Skin, Fat rendered so Perfectly, rub blend of Lemon & Pepper, sauce lending flavor both Sweet & Mild to go with the Richness of the Duck. Potatoes that were Crispy and how could not love Asparagus wrapped in anything that's close to Bacon. I was lucky I was able to get Dessert, but one of the few times that I've taken it to Go. Between that and waiting for the Check (since our Waitress was over talking at another Table next to us) it was 18 Minutes. But I was able to try what I considered the most unexpected Dessert in my Life. It was Parmesan Ice Cream with a Blueberry-Balsamic Drizzle, Candied Prosciutto and a Roasted Cherry. I never thought I would eat Parmesan in a way that isn't on Pasta. To make Cheese Ice Cream, a Sauce that was Sweet and Tart, Prosciutto was Reminiscent of Crispy Bacon. Both me and Nathan got in the Car and both had one Spoonful each, it was such a beautiful interplay of Sweet and Salty. Tim & Morgan Stevens really impressed me tonight with their take on Global Pub Food and Drinks that have such a Gin-tle Touch.

Yelp
Great gin selection and creative drinks. The food is creative British pub fare and very good. Service was friendly and good. Have seating outside which was great on this lovely evening. May not want to sit outside on trivia night at the next door beer bar.

Yelp
A very interesting gin bar with decent food and great service. The place feels like a time warp back to the late 60s rock era, with a music playlist to match. Service throughout the meal was excellent- drinks never went empty and we were checked on regularly throughout with a smile. The menu is a mix of Indian and English food. I went with the bangers and mash- the sausage links had a nice kick to them, and the potatos were very well seasoned. I didn't try one of the drinks but it was certainly an interesting menu. A great meal and worth the visit.

Melissa F.

Yelp
Everything was delicious, service was great. definitely recommend. the drinks were okay but i'm not a lover of gin and it's a gin bar. if you like gin you'll like the drinks! lol

Yelp
I met a friend here for dinner on a Thursday night. It was really easy to get a reservation, which is always helpful, I did so online. I don't drink alcohol so I started with one of their hose made tonics, the elder flower one, and it was interesting and refreshing. The restaurant seemed nice. I was a little annoyed there were a lot of little bugs around. I know it's summer time and there's only so much one can do, but still it was annoying. My friend and I split the scotch eggs, the yolk was fully cooked, I'm just noting that as I have heard/read (this was my first experience with them) that they are often served soft boiled. The sauce they came with was pretty strong, but I enjoyed it. I didn't enjoy them much at all and wouldn't purchase them again. For my entree, I had the duck wings risotto dish. I love risotto and I've only had duck once or twice so I decided to go for it. I really really loved the risotto. It was creamy and rich and flavorful like any risotto should be. I thought the spicy duck wings really were kind of an odd choice to pair with it. They were drumsticks and were kind of difficult to eat, and my risotto got cold really really quickly. Also I had to pick them up to eat them and I only had my cloth napkin, so it was difficult to alternate between the wing and the risotto, which I needed my silverware for and didn't want to get sauce all over my fork... So, kinda weird to try and eat. If a friend wanted to meet here for dinner and really wanted to go, I'd go again, but I wouldn't bring a friend here to try anything or head here when it's my choice to pick the restaurant. It all seemed to just be alright for me, nothing too special.

Yelp
Had a great experience here! Tried a couple of the gin cocktails and they were delicious! I can't wait to try some others. The service was good and I love the ambience. The food was incredible! I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Went to Graylynn for brunch with friends. Atmosphere was quiet and quaint. Our server knew the menu and had great suggestions. I had the bacon butty, which consisted of British bacon, caramelized onions, and arugula on a ciabatta. Was a good sandwich with kettle chips that were lightly salted. My friends had pasties and fish and chips. Pasties were a nice snack. The fish was tender and flaky without being oily. They also have a few selections of teas available. Would visit again in future.

Yelp
We had previously been to Lucky Dog Whiskey Cafe and wanted to try Graylynn, since we saw they had a hand pie on the menu. We typically don't drink gin but I decided to try one of the cocktails. My husband had a Diet Coke. I liked the drink and found it to be a balanced taste. We did not like that refills on pop were extra. It was from a fountain and not a can, for one. Also, not everyone drinks or drinks gin for that matter. We've had drinks at plenty of bars and they usually don't charge for pop and if they do it's just the first one. For the food, we started each with a salad. The salad was amazing. 5/5. I would go back just based on this alone. For our entrees, we got the chicken tika masala. We originally planned in hand pies but saw that it was recommended on their board. We were very underwhelmed with the chicken tika masala. It was ok but nothing extraordinary. My husband particularly did not like it. I didn't mind it. It just was not what I was expecting and found it disappointing. While our entree disappointed, we would like to go back and give it another try with a different entree.

Yelp
I've been to Graylynn before but this was the best time hands down. The scotch eggs were SO GOOD. Not something I would have usually tried, so I'm glad my friend wanted to get them! The sausage, egg, pepper combo with the sweet and spicy mustard sauce was incredible. I can't wait to go back soon to order them again. Bar staff was friendly and knowledgeable on all things gin!

Yelp
cute vintage/deco bar, good for a cocktail. Usually gets a good crowd & has seating. Good dirty martinis.

Yelp
Came back when they were open! Officially love this place. Very chic decor and fun menu, friendly service. We wanted to try everything. The fig wine cocktail was awesome! My friend enjoyed the slow jazz as well. Charcuterie board was really delicious, there was a cherry soft cheese that topped it all. For entrees my friend has the chicken masala and I had the Cornish beef pasties. Both were phenomenal. Make sure to dip the pasties in the gravy! We will be back!

Yelp
Cute restaurant! Came here for a pre-show dinner and got some cocktails. I don't remember the exact cocktails I ordered, but they were good. We ordered their version of chocolate martinis and they were boooozy. Ordered the mussels and fries and they were also good. Service was attentive!

Yelp
On my second visit here I ordered food and I got the Kofta Burger ($12), which was made with beef & lamb and greek dressing. It was delicious! And very flavorful. The burger came with kettle chips and a pickle on the side. Of course I had to get a cocktail as well I this time I had the Fitzgerald, which is very similar to a Tom Collins. Definitely enjoy the knowledge and vibe of the bartenders there and will continue to retrun for future visits.

Yelp
Graylynn is a gem in downtown Buffalo. We are big gin fans so this caught our eye as it was advertised as a Gin bar. From the moment we walked in it felt warm and welcoming. We loved that proof of vaccination was required to enter. We had a cute table in the front window. They still have seating spaced out for Covid. There is sitting at the bar, a few booths in the back and small tables out front. We sampled two different cocktails, including a traditional gin and tonic and the honey $ fig cocktail Paired with their frites and warm olives- these are so delicious and the service so nice we decided to order another round and dinner. For dinner we split an order of hand pies filled with Indian goodness and a roasted vegetable Cobb salad and tried the mule and bijou cocktails Everything was a delight we will be back again!

Yelp
First off I was told it was a "gin only" bar and I got nauseous. Why? Because I had one terrible experience with gin based on taste and I swore I'd never go back. Luckily the bartender assured me my experience will not be repeated. She was extremely patient, kind, and knowledgeable on what would be my best fit. Believe me, I was hesitant and wanted to just drink water. She asked what drink I usually go for and I explained to her I like mojitos and mules something sweeter yet refreshing. She recommended the Old Maid...I said "rude" but knew she was talking about the drink..ha! Just a little joke She made it not only pretty but extremely tasty! I couldn't taste the gin which I knew would be dangerous. My friend ordered the Antoine & Colette and thought it was deliciously refreshing as well! I guess I can say I'm a gin drinker now but I was not disappointed one bit! I'm sorry I missed that bartenders name but she was so helpful and sweet while I panicked in what I had to order! (She had shorter blondish hair so give her a raise!)

Yelp
Great food, even more amazing cocktails! They accommodated a group of 12 of us with no issue! Loved the vibe of this Resturant, will definitely be back! Also have to say you must try the pretzel EPI, shoestring frites that come with sauce.... Literally everyone was obsessed!

Yelp
VERY NICE PLACE WILL BE GOING BACK. First we were seated very quickly and the staff was very nice quick service in wait for food and drinks. First we got the scotch eggs and the escargot the scotch eggs highly recommended delicious. The escargot was good but not the best we have ever had. For are three entrees we got the fish and freits the beef Wellington and the cord on blu sandwich the beef Wellington was the best Wellington we have ever had and the cord on blu sandwich fantastic. The portions were generous. And the fish was cooked perfectly and the fish was fresh. Also the fries delicious and perfectly seasoned. But the music could have been a bit lower!! Overall good place will be going back.

Yelp
Graylynn is absolutely stunning! We love to sit inside at the bar and watch as they make cocktails. Whether you like Gin or not, all of the cocktails are incredibly delicious - there are so many options for everyone. They have other non-gin cocktails available as well. I've gone for brunch a couple of times and was blown away. I still dream of the Savory Buckwheat Pancakes to this day - it was an extremely innovative dish and I've never had anything like it. It was a great alternative to pancake lovers like myself who don't want something super sweet for breakfast. Big fan of the Red Snapper brunch cocktail which is essentially their take on a Bloody Mary but with gin. The fight of spice and simply delicious. Pro tip: ORDER THE FRIES! Shoe string style with old bay seasoning

Yelp
Trendy, loud, well located. Very interesting menu. Small portions, small plates, but plenty to choose from. Like tappas from Spain. Full bar with attentive wait staff. Adventurous chef. Seating inside and out. Recommend the scotch eggs, escargot and Kofka with tzatziki; stay far away from the parmigiana ice cream which comes with a disgusting cherry soaked in olive brine (it might have been kerosene) which I and a guest spit out simultaneously into a napkin. A bit pricey, but not outrageous. Younger crowd for sure.

Yelp
Great cocktails and atmosphere, sophisticated English pub menu. Mixologist are the best.

Yelp
Love love love. Food was scrumptious. Beef welly and fish and frites were grand. Not a bad cocktail to be had. Shout out to Cheryl for the wonderful service and suggestions. Go here.

Yelp
Well, it's official, I'm completely obsessed with Graylynn. Met a few friends to catch up, have some drinks, and dinner, and I can't believe I waited so long to dine here! The ambiance is wonderful and the restaurant itself is beautiful. It's nicely decorated and they had a killer playlist spinning, so bonus points for that. Because I'm 70 years old on the inside, gin is one of my favorite liquors. So you know I had to get a drink! The strawberry tarragon gin and tonic was the perfect choice. The alcohol wasn't overbearing and it was really bright in flavor. I had the fish and frites and LOVED it. The fish was delicious but the fries stole the show; whatever they seasoned them in was amazing. The tartar sauce was pretty tasty too. My friend got the braised pork shoulder sandwich, which she did like, but she said it was on the slightly spicy side. She was not expecting the amount of punch it packed! I can't wait to come back here. They rotate new things onto their menu often, so I'm sure I'll be back soon.

Yelp
I was able to check this place out in the fall for my friend's birthday before things got shut down again. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. It had a nice atmosphere and there was seating inside and outside. My friend's drink of choice is usually gin but I don't think either of us knew there were so many types. They truly have a gin library. I was excited to try this place after I found out that it was a sister restaurant of Lucky Day and Balyhoo (both of which I enjoy very much). It was very hard to figure out what we wanted to eat based on their menu. They had very different options from your typical restaurant which made them very unique. We decided to get the chana masala pasties. They came with 2 so we each was able to have one. They were really good and a nice size. Not spicy and very flavorful. We also split a sausage stuffed portabella. This sandwich was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I was willing to go back for that alone. What really won me over were the drinks. We ordered the Graylynn Fizz, Honey and Fig (my favorite), French 75, Saturn, and the Old Maid. Cocktails ran about $10 each and they were so worth it. There's a market in the back with salads, drinks, fruit, nuts, and an array of different merchandise to take home. I grabbed a Strainge Beast Hard Kombucha that was really good. The prices on their menu are pretty high for the small amount of food you get. I remember having a discussion with a few people that went also and we all wondered how long this place would last based on their prices and what they had to offer; especially during a pandemic. I saw that they have a new take-out menu and I am very glad. I would like to see this place last, and honestly, I don't think they would have based on the original menu. I really hope they are during well, as some restaurants are forced to close, with their to go options.

Yelp
I had a chance to check Graylynn out and enjoyed the atmosphere and experience. It's a cocktail bar with various bites and snacks (including pastries/meat pies of sorts), some oysters with Ceviche, salads, sandwiches and more. It's primarily a gin bar, but I don't really drink; despite that - it was still a relatively comfortable atmosphere for me. They had tea/coffee, although just by the french press which can be a little cumbersome if you just want a cup. Food-wise, I tried the beet salad (pretty good) with a mix of pickled beets and pistachios and goat cheese, the oysters with some crab ceviche on top...4 oysters to an order (17) and a Pheasant Pie. The Pheasant Pie was probably the winner of all 3. All in all, with indoor and outdoor seating...it's a great place and they seem to practice social distancing pretty well. However, do be aware...it can be a bit loud inside when the place is pretty full.
