Graze By The River

Just had coffee and croissant and a scone. Thought the food and coffee was decent- but just felt it was not great value. Almost R200 and the scone was very small. Service was good but would like some more value for money

We visited Port Alfred on holiday and Graze by The River, by far, was the best culinary experience in the area. You can taste that the food is made to order with only fresh ingredients. The owner ensured a personal experience by hosting each table - when we return to this coast we will be sure to enjoy another meal at Graze by The River.

When visiting Port Alfred, if you love freshly made food with locally sourced ingredients then graze by the river is a must. Nick the owner was an amazing host helping us with our food and making sure we were enjoying ourself. I went 2 times for the monthly wine tasting, which was an incredible experience where he invited experts from the industry whom explained everything about the wines we were tasting. Definitely would recommend!!

Brilliant food. Unlike anything I've tasted before. Such a bonus getting organic and free range food with gluten free options. I felt spoilt for choice. The passion that goes into the food is almost tangible. The chicken curry was delicious, so was the fish dish. We shared the fig and blue cheese salad as a starter - absolutely DIVINE. Will come here again.

The gift shop in the front has something for everyone. The restaurant servies and the atmosphere is really nice The fish is locally cough. It's pet friendly as long as the 2 Labradors approves it. The food was also really fast and fresh prepared. I has a nice in door and outdoor seating area. The bathrooms is also very clean and fresh.

A thoroughly enjoyable lunch with good friends! The food was scrumptious and well prepared, the service better than most places and the friendly personal attention from the owner Nick made this a truly supreme visit!

Best Chops and Seafood dish we have had!! I would recommend to go there for real authentic Thai seafood and best cooked tasty Chops! The ambiance is real!

The venue is relaxed and peaceful.. the food is amazing... And the service is top notch. Cherry on the top is that our 4 legged friend was just as welcome 🤗
