Wonderful place. Very small and intimate. Husband and wife started this beautiful restaurant and the rest of the team are amazing. The place works with perfect precision yet every so often, you see someone dancing to a song they like as they prep your dish. Worth every penny and then some. If you are a foodie, this is your place.

A simply exceptional dining experience. We did the "full shebang" tasting of every item on the menu (it really was every item!) and thoroughly enjoyed every single dish. The cured kahawai tarts, paua patty melt and pierogi were probably the standouts amongst an impressive and satisfying lineup. We appreciated the pescatarian, locally sourced and minimal waste ethos. The pacing was excellent - not too fast or slow. The overall quantity of food was also perfect - we were satiated but not uncomfortably full by the end! Their wine by the glass menu is also phenomenal. The chef's table experience definitely elevated the experience even further, and we enjoyed the opportunity to see the dishes being created for us. Max, the head chef, was also very personable and his passion for the food shows. The rest of the team were also all warm and friendly but without being intrusive. Would highly recommend and readily return to. A big thank you to Max and the rest of the team!

A cozy and quaint wine bar with a unique menu of tasty small plates. An extensive blackboard menu of bold and unsuspecting flavour combos made it difficult to decide what to order because everything looked so tasty. With an even more extensive wine list, this restaurant is a wine lovers haven. The food was on the pricier side for the portion sizes, but everything was very tasty. I would recommend the Smoked Fish Tostada and the Pretzels, both dishes were showstoppingly delicious. A memorable evening of tasty pescatarian food in a comforting atmosphere.

Incredible meal and lovely night out. The service was superb, and food amazing. Considering we had 14 (I think?) courses, what was nice was having the space to feel like relaxed at dinner. We have done plenty of tasting menu's and sometimes you feel like you can't have a conversation without someone popping over and interrupting with something. It can't be easy to get the balance right on this! Wine menu also great, not the biggest selection - they probably don't have the storage space - but they were all super interesting and we enjoyed trying the tasting flight. We were asked what out favourite dish was and it was impossible to pick - it was all delicious.

First time coming to Wellington and this restaurant is the highlight on my trip. I believe the food is very well thought as the flavor of each component in one dish is in sync. All the dishes that we order are delicious and surprising our taste bud. Service and the atmosphere is really nice and warm. As we sitting in the chef's bar we can see all the food being made and adding the exciting things into our experience.

If you're looking for an exceptional vegetarian dining experience, this suburban restaurant is a must-visit. Despite being non-vegetarians, we didn't miss the meat at all! The dishes were so well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying that we were thoroughly impressed. One standout item on the menu is the pretzel—absolutely a must-try! Its perfect texture and flavor made it unforgettable. Whether you're a vegetarian or just curious to try something different, this restaurant delivers on taste and creativity. Highly recommended for anyone seeking delicious vegetarian options, even if you're a devoted meat lover!

A perfect spot for some top notch local cuisine and delicious drinks. We did The Full Shabang and barely made it to the end - it was a lot of food, 11 courses (I've attached photos of 10 of them, forgot to take a photo of the cheese board). A few dishes weren't to our tastes, but we ate everything and really enjoyed the experience.
