I needed a safe walk-in shower as a top priority..but a delightful room is always hoped for when a keen budget is still important, right ?|Here on the lower ground floor is one one of the most delightfully innovative, almost flawlessly designed, & better still>> beautifully -- & innovatively-decorated -- rooms I've stayed in in years. Yes,.I do mean that..|I am an international traveller & my husband has lifetime top-tier status with one of the world's biggest hotel chains..so we stay in some of the best properties around the globe.||Here in this unusual Basement Room of ours, there's more than ample wardrobe space (never seen these days) with thoughtfully fitted interior spaces, that actually function usefully! |Plus a safe at eye level... Imagine !such convenience! |The bathroom had an elegant walk-in shower with a textured, safe floor that for me could only have been improved as as o totally satisfactory experience had there been a hand-held water function as well as the ceiling rain shower. A mere quibble.|Plenty of space either side of the adjacent handbasin also exceeded vastly what one finds missing almost everywhere these days..somewhere for one's own toiletries!|Bravo!|And then there's the highly unusual Italian Iconic room design flourishes to make one smile with pleasure that such commitment to excellence was undertaken here by whoever fitted out this unique space--with all its considerable challenges!|Some would find the missing normal window setup a challenge--personally, I relished the clever ID solution with its swagged impact! |Plenty of natural daylight, even though no view, as such.||Almost immediate to the room, there's a decent semi-private lounge area that includes a complimentary top notch Nespresso coffee & tea making facility. |Alas no milk ..nor water, but - only another tiny quibble!||Alas the really lousy breakfast (included in our taffif) let an otherwise outstanding stay experience down somewhat .. one was inexplicably required --the night before --to fill out a form as to what one's "choices" (sic) would have to be for one's breakfast the following day ..like a second-rate boarding house decades ago! |Watery orange juice left out at room temperature greeted one in an empty soulless room, upon arrival. Weak & disgusting "coffee" made to order (why bother ?) & I'll swear >>dry/reconstituted caterer's 'scrambled' egg (meanly portioned )was our destiny for the start of each day in fantastic Arezzo..& with just ONE lousy cake on offer (in Italy>imagine the shame!) alongside the breakfast cereal ( no milk ever sighted on either day) . |Nothing was natural>>yoghurt, croissants..all sugared! Yuk! |And all in a an inexplicably overlit & soulless basement room with non-functioning led table lights! Geee.....it WAS terrible.|Skip Breakfast -E15 down the drain.||But do stay here ...& the lower ground floor Room 109 we booked, I'd especially-- & quite particularly --recommend!

The hotel is in a superb location, very quiet and relaxing inside. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and good quality. The 2 rooms we were staying in were quirky and colourful but very comfortable and very clean. I would recommend staying here to anyone wanting to be in the centre of town to visit the wonderful sites of Arezzo.

The hotel is in a fabulous position in the historic part of Arezzo and the entrance is lovely and a friendly greeting welcomes you. Otherwise, we were terribly disappointed. We paid a lot of money to be put in the basement and asked to pay extra for breakfast which is in a dining room, in the basement with no windows. So we had breakfast at a fabulous cafe/restaurant called RabbitRabbit down the road. The decor is extremely odd. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend it.

This hotel was extremely uncomfortable. The bed was like a cement block, making it literally impossible to sleep. No robes, no full-length mirror. Our adapter to charge our phones kept slipping out of the sockets so we were left with too little charge for the day. Breakfast was not only meager, but very strange. You have to order the night before and then the lady brings it to you, but be aware if you have a driver coming. It happens in slow stages.

Nice hotel, very central, please note that the breakfast is only included for one person, for 2 persons it doesn't include breakfast (costs 15 euros each person, too expesive for what I saw available there). But I recommend to go the the nearast place Bar Stefano, I had there a very good breakfast for few euros. Amazing pastries. Back to the hotel, please note it can be very noisy and especiialy on weekend. I was very tired and I could sleep without a problem, but who is sensitive please take that in consideration. Please also note that the rooms have 2 floors and you have to go back and forth up and down to get things.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and much more spacious than we expected. The only reason I only gave the room a 4 is that they are not (at least ours wasn't) sound proof. We were in an inner court yard so there was no noise from the outside, but we were next to a room with a young, loud child in it who woke up early. It was like we were in the room with her.

Central hotel.||‘Valet’ type car parking for €20 per day which is definitely worth it having driven around to find the hotel. It’s worth noting that as the hotel is ‘in’ the ‘no car drive zone’ - as you are staying, you can drive in all of these areas; the number plate is then reported so that you won’t receive a fine…||GOOD|Character Deluxe Double room with amazing air con - effective and quiet.|Big window in main bedroom and bathroom letting in lots of light.||Mini fridge in room which we kept some of our stuff in.|Several places to get breakfast just outside the door as hotel was very centrally located but I was getting fed up of pastries!|Requested quiet room and it was, despite lots of bars around.||NOT QUITE SO GOOD…|Nowhere to put luggage or open your suitcase - just one very tiny luggage rack which you couldn’t even open a normal size suitcase. |No seating area - room quite compact.|It’s called the ‘ Graziella Patio Hotel’ but there is no patio or terrace to sit. ||SUMMARY|We loved Arezzo; seemed a good mixture of tourists and locals, architecture, shops, bars and restaurants.

Graziella Patio Hotel has a great location in the middle of all Arrezzo’s old town, sights, restaurants and shopping streets. Everything is nearby. Standard room for two was very little and also the bed was smallish so if you are planning to stay more than one night I would suggest a bigger room unless you are travelling alone. Bathroom was bigger and slippers were nice surprise. There were also fresh fruit in the room as a welcoming gift. And if you want to make coffee, there are coffee making facilities outside the room in the hall. ||||This hotel has an elevator which is great. During our week in Tuscany we stayed mostly in old palazzos and this one was the only one with elevator. Our room did not have any kind of view (or did to down stairs to reception lobby), but since we needed the room only for one night's sleep, we did not mind. ||||They had wi-fi but we did not manage to make it work in our mobile phones or our own computer (iPhone XS and Huawei and Mac Book Pro). Also our own internet connection was little bit weak in our room. But there was a little Mac Book in the room, so maybe the wi-fi works better with that (We did not try that). TV signal was also missing. ||||Breakfast was quite good with bread, croissants, cold cuts, different cheeses (also mozzarella) fresh berries and fruit, yogurt, granola, and of course sweet pastry in Italian style. They also had lot of different kinds of juices, coffee and tea. ||||They do not have free parking, but the nearest parking lot was about 300 meters from the hotel (20 euros per 24 hours, five euros discount for hotel’s guest). And you can drive to the hotel to drop off your luggage. Staff was friendly and helpful.
