Great Falls

$20 at the gate but so worth it! Absolutely stunning views, with easy to walk, mostly shaded path. Could only take my dog on certain trails, because there are endangered animals within certain areas. Please be respectful of these precious eco systems!! Wonderful day!

We went at night because my schedule didn’t account for a daytime visit. Apparently the entrance is kept open so no one is trapped inside the park? Despite the darkness, the falls were still beautiful 😊 The trail and bridges are well maintained, too, so we had confidence walking briskly in the dark, though under moonlight. On the walk back, we saw a fox with some small animal in its mouth. The fox pounced into a grassy ditch. So lithe and cute.

Another one of my fave hikes since childhood; hidden within the DMV. The best times to visit is super early morning at sunrise and I love hiking in cold rainy conditions 🤔🤣!! It’s one of those places where I can sit and listen to the rushing water for a long while.

Lovely hike with stunning views. Not the hidden gem it was in years gone by. Very crowded but most folks just rush right through the trail. Many illiterate people testing they're intelligence by ignoring the barriers and warning signs. Glad I didn't witness any mishaps.

Great Falls on the Potomac is very beautiful . It has terrific scenic views of the waterfalls and a wide variety of outdoor activities. There are less crowd here in the weekdays compare to weekends. Great trails for hiking including very easy trail to see the falls.

Great park! There are hikes for everyone! We love both Maryland and Virginia sides of the park, and find something new every time we go there! The rocks along the river are perfect for younger ones to climb. Always a good time!

Very beautiful place..awesome scenic views, amazing waterfalls..Great for hiking or just relaxing. Grab yourself a coffee, sit by the water and let the sound of the water ease your mind.

It's beautiful place, excellent to hiking, biking ( Saturday and Sunday the have free rental bicycle from 9 to 4) the environment is so beautiful, perfect for family, couple, friends excursion, walk with your dog, make some exercise, make a picnic, the parking is $10 per car or for get in is $5 per person. Is really beautiful.
