WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! My husband and I just left from our first visit to Great Harvest Bakery and we are both blown away! From the service to the food, we enjoyed every single aspect. The staff was so kind and helpful. I couldn't decided between a couple of sandwich options, so Savannah gave me her recommendations. I pretty much just ended up letting her choose what I was going to eat. She was extremely confident in her recommendations and from the first bite I took, I learned why. Savannah knows what she is talking about! The Baja Chipotle Turkey sandwich is something dreams are made of. The first bite had me wanting more and more. I became an immediate addict. I let my husband have a bite and almost had to fight him to get my sandwich back. He ordered the Roasted Pepper Cheesesteak and it was delicious too. We got the tomato basil soup as our side and oh my goodness, absolutely delicious as well. I was even completely overcome with amazement from how delicious the little piece of bread was that came with the soup. I can not say enough good things about this place. Everything was spectacular! We are both sad and ecstatic. Sad because we have never eaten there until now, but ecstatic because we found a new favorite restaurant. Our consensus as we finished our food...we were very happy. I will be dreaming of the food until our next visit.

I got the Porky pig sandwich, sticky bun, and a triple shot latte and all of it was absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough. We were also able to try some specialty bread and butter before ordering and wow it was fantastic. I’m extremely picky about coffee and with very little explaining about what I like, they were able to make me the perfect latte, no notes!

I tried 3 things from this bakery. Their Superfood loaf was good, tasty and nutritious, almost as a meal in itself. Cinnamon rolls made on Dec 17th were quite poor, not fully baked, half raw, very grey in color. I also tried Chocolate Babka - and as someone who grew up in Europe I can tell you, this is absolutely NOT Eastern European Chocolate Babka. It tasted like cheap generic white bread with some chocolate chips in it, it was like chewing a cotton ball. They use enriched white flour, which is a refined grain stripped of fiber and nutrients and then synthetically supplemented, leading to quick blood sugar spikes with zero nutritional value. In authentic Babka we use high quality ingredients like unbleached flour made from milled hard red wheat and we also use chocolate ganache not chips. This is the honest review and not a critique. I hope they take it to consideration and improve. I look forward to trying and hopefully enjoying other things on their menu. Great harvest bread co is a small business in Tyler Tx that has phenomenal bread, great sandwiches and amazing atmosphere. First of all, when you come in the door you can already smell the delicious breads and soups they’re making. Our first instinct was to get a Halloween seasonal item, which was the spider bread. Then we got soups and sandwiches. They came pretty fast, but the spider bread was slow to come, even when it was PREMADE. They apparently forgot about that part. Took us an hour. But overall, it was amazing. Worthwhile. Thank you Great Harvest Bread Co!

This place is absolutely amazing! My first time I ordered the spicy apple bacon grilled cheese with the tomato basil soup and it was perfect, very fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious! I also sampled and bought their Parmesan and cracked pepper bread loaf and a box of blueberry muffins, both amazing as well! I definitely found my new favorite spot and will be back again and again!

First time in. Wanted a Ruben and was happy that it was featured. But when I ordered it was told they were out of Rye. Seemed odd because the literal name is Great Harvest BREAD Co. Moved on to second choice. Potato soup and sandwich. Was told; We're out of potato soup right now. This was not close to closing time, there was not a rush, or crowd. The person taking the order said, This is a bad time for a first visit. I think she was trying to be sympathetic and apologetic, but... Wow! My third choice was fairly good but the whole time I was thinking of all the places in Tyler that have Reuben sandwiches or potato soup. 🫤 If you decide to go I hope your experience is better. It seemed like the place had potential but not willing to roll the dice again because Tyler has lots of good deli and sandwich options that are sure to have what they put on the menu.

Yum! Best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had! Don’t walk…run over here and get some! Kai was my server this morning and did a great job. I had a mocha coffee and a cinnamon roll. So good!

The menu offers a wide variety of options with homemade breads. I had a biscuit with cheese and a delicious egg! 🥚 The staff are friendly. They have a gift shop and sitting area. The food is very healthy. Local honey and other home baked sweets are available with seasonal touches. Highly recommended.
