We have visited GWL three times and have loved the experience every time! All of the staff are extremely friendly from the front desk, housekeeping, and attractions! One time, we even did the Birthday experience for my daughter and they made it so special with every detail! We love that there are never long lines for attractions and you can do so many things in one building! We have stayed 3 nights each time and feel that it was the perfect amount of time to get to do everything. It's a favorite vacation for a family!

I just visited GWL again and this time we chose a day pass instead of an overnight visit in the hotel. We love staying at their hotel hut couldn’t this time. As always, they have the best lifeguards ( Ellis & associates!) and top quality guest service, as well as an amazing experience for all to enjoy. We had something happen that was disappointing and when it was brought to their attention they went above and beyond to rectify the issue. Thanks again Jessica!

Visited Colorado Springs with the kids, and we had a fun time! The view of the mountains was beautiful. The water park was definitely the highlight—our kids loved the slides, lazy river, and splash zones, and we could easily spend hours there. The activities were also a hit, with plenty of options to keep the kids entertained, from the arcade to mini golf. It was a nice change of pace from the waterpark, and we all had fun together. The food, however, left something to be desired and was overpriced. While there were options, we felt the selection lacked healthy choices and fresh ingredients. A few more nutritious options would definitely be appreciated to go along with the high prices. Also the refrigerator in our room did not work. All in all, it was a great family getaway, but we’ll plan ahead for healthier meals next time!

I recently stayed at Great Wolf Lodge, and unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired—especially considering the price I paid for a top-floor corner suite. From cleanliness issues to maintenance problems, my stay was far from what I expected at a resort of this caliber. To start, the room was not well-maintained. The doors were heavily scratched up, the light fixtures in the bathroom were crooked, and there was silly string stuck to the high window sills—a clear sign that housekeeping had skipped over basic cleaning (please refer to pictures attached). Things only got worse when I noticed the air vents were clogged with thick clumps of dust, which didn’t help the already broken room heater that wasn’t blowing hot air. On a frigid 4-degree night, I expected at least a warm and cozy room, but instead, it felt neglected and unwelcoming. The bathroom was no better and was deteriorated. There was black and pink mold in the shower, and upon arrival, I even found a large bug in there. When I went to shower after spending time at the water park (where I was bitten by a child in the wave pool—not to the fault of Great Wolf Lodge, but still unpleasant nonetheless), I discovered the body soap dispenser was completely empty when trying to clean off from this incident. On top of that, the furniture was covered in pet hair, which was frustrating since my ESA wasn’t even approved for the stay. It made me wonder how the room had managed to not be cleaned at all prior to my stay. To make matters worse, by morning, I woke up with a rash—not exactly the kind of memory I wanted to take home with me. All in all, this stay was a huge letdown. For what I paid, I expected a clean, comfortable, and well-kept suite, but instead, it felt like housekeeping had completely overlooked it. The lack of warmth (literally and figuratively) made the experience feel unwelcoming as if it was a motel value stay, and I simply can’t recommend booking here—especially if you’re looking to plan a vacation. In addition: They attempted to charge my card twice for my stay (still awaiting refund).

I'm late to do my review but I highly recommend this great wolf! We drive 13 hours for this great wolf. The room with a Mountain View is AMAZING! The staff is also great! While eating breakfast the great wolf characters walk around greeting the kids. All around great experience & definitely worth the trip! 😊

Rooms including water park passes were of great value. Everything else felt overpriced. The food and drinks were way too much for what you actually get and taste. Service was kind of friendly, the guy at the front desk said we would only be charged once for 2 parking spots but we were charged twice..so..$30 to park there for one night is ridiculous. I get they have a lot of bills to pay, I'm sure, with water and electricity and stuff because this place is huge but maybe it would be more worth it for smaller children under 10 years old. Our shower had pink mold and grey mold growing, it was completely out of the body wash, and our room had some spillage and crumbs left behind from previous guests in the same room that housekeeping missed. We'll still be back for the balconies and the water park...hopefully it's a little more cleanly next time and the kids working there seem a little more happy to be there. There was one lifeguard that absolutely loved his job and definitely helped to make the experience better...the rest just seemed like underpaid zombies.

Google
Very underwhelmed. My family and I drove down for the day just to swim. For swimming alone for 4 people we paid $150. Then we were surprised when we got there we had to pay $20 to park our car. The pool room is no bigger than our local recreation center. We thought it’d be way better! There is no water deeper than 5 feet almost all the water in the room is 4feet max. No hot tubs. If you want a cabana it’s over $300!. So we found a couple open spots. The area around the chairs stunk so bad of vomit. I told the staff and there was never anything even done about it. We needed a locked and it was $15! And we couldn’t fit all our stuff in it even!… the bathrooms were not nice nor clean, we didn’t even want to put on feet down. Again our local recreation centers are way nicer and cleaner. The place overall is not clean. The pool bottoms are SO slimy that you slip! We won’t go back, and I would tell our friends that it’s not worth the money.

Google
We’ve been several times. Every year they have added more and more fees and charges. It’s expensive to begin with, now they nickel and dime you to death. Expensive arcade, restaurants, mandatory paid self parking (what a joke), resort fees, 11.45% tax rate and surprise charges on your credit card once you get home. Don’t forgot to return your pool towel, that’s a hefty fine. This year we waited two hours after check in to get our room. Once at the room, the keys would not work, had to go back down to get new keys. Rooms are fine. Life guards are the best.

Yelp
We've been wanting to go to Great Wolf Lodge for a long time and this one is the closest to us, so we finally decided to come. They are certainly very pricey, so us and our extended family chose to only book one night. The nice thing we learned is that we could use the Waterpark at any point after it opens on the day we check in (without having to check in to the hotel first) and any point until it closes on the day we check out, which makes staying one night absolutely perfect! There was a lot more to do than we realized, but unfortunately, unless you opt to pay extra for one of their "passes," none of it is included beyond the waterpark. However, nothing was terribly overpriced. We ended up starting off at the miniature golf course, which was a decent size in the middle of the activities area. There is also a mini-bowling spot, arcade, and "tree-top" adventure as well as a mini mining area. The bowling is cute, but definitely fills up fast. Overall, the extra activities are probably geared more towards kids between 5-12. They have a decent variety of restaurants to choose from. For dinner we opted for pizza, but it was absolutely horrendous. None of it was cooked all the way through and so we had three large very doughy pizza's. Would not order again. The Dunkin Donuts is okay. But, nothing to write home about. Their ice cream shop is pretty tasty and the candy shop is mostly all gummy candy. The hotel room itself was a decent size and very clean. My bed however, was clearly very old and used. I had the most uncomfortable sleep due to the sagging mattress. We were put on the 10th floor next to our family members which was nice. However, checking out/leaving was a NIGHTMARE. There are only three elevators and when everyone is checking out in the morning, it is almost impossible to catch an elevator to the bottom floor due to everyone getting on, riding it all the way to the top floor in order to get to the first floor. We ended up picking up all of our luggage and our kids and carrying it allllllllll the way down the stairs. 10 flights of stairs! And we weren't the only ones, I saw couples hauling lugging, their strollers/wagons, etc. It was a horrible experience and something needs to be changed. The Waterpark was great! I would say the only downsides were, a severe lack of seating and because it's indoors, it gets pretty loud. The water is a great temperature and there's quite a bit to do! The kiddie pool is excellent for the younger ones to play, the bigger waterslides are an absolute blast, and the lines really weren't too long. The lifeguards are young, but they all take their jobs very seriously and it was great seeing that. Overall, we did have a fun time and would come back!

Yelp
If I could give them less than one star I would. That was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had! Background: I saved to take my kids to Great Wolf Lodge. I booked it, and then later we found out my husband had to have surgery and we wouldn't be able to go on the trip. I logged into their site to change the reservation to a different time before the surgery. Prices on the site were close to what we paid. But there was no option to change the reservation online (how is that not an option??). So I emailed them. No response. So I filled out their customer service form online. No response. Great Wolf Lodge, don't offer the options if you aren't going to respond. It's tough for me to call because I work full time at a job where I can't step away for personal calls. But I really wanted to take my kids, so I took time off work, and called. I talked with the agent. But now, all this time had passed, waiting for responses that never came, and as a result, the days we could have gone were more than twice as much as before, and we couldn't switch the reservation without paying astronomically more. So I pulled up my work calendar and trying to find ANYTHING that would work. Finally, after 20 minutes, he found a time that wasn't twice as expensive as what we paid. I said, let's change it. Then he messed up the change, and needed to work with his supervisor to fix it. At this point, I'm well past 30 minutes, and in trouble with work. So when he comes back on, and needs more time. I just tell him, I can't do this, please just cancel the reservation. Then he cancels it and charges a $50 fee to do so. Then, to top it all off, after telling the agent what a horrible experience this was, he has the nerve to then start reading some Hilton vacation upsell bull**** to me. I couldn't believe it. So now instead of a fun vacation with my family, I'm out a $50 cancellation fee and am so angry. What a HORRIBLE experience.

Yelp
Can't give it a 2 because my kids have fun here each visit. And to earn a 1 star would have to be the worst experience ever. My lower review is for the parking fee grab. It was never disclosed to me when I booked over the phone. There is vacant land surrounding the hotel. Plenty of space. Just a total slight on guests...the cringiest money grab. Two more quick critiques: the chlorine in the pool area is so potent your eyes burn. And lastly, we just have to raise the food standards here/everywhere. GWL needs to be better.

Yelp
This Great Wolf Lodge is much cleaner than the one in Anaheim! Our accommodations were much roomier as well. We had a wonderful time at the water park, which was far from crowded. And we loved the convenience of getting ice cream and doughnuts in the hotel itself. Our daughter also loved the Halloween activities, like the dance party and the trick-or/treating. A few things that could be improved: the non-fast food dining options were closed for much of our visit. Not great on the days my husband took the car to visit a work site. And there was no cleaning service in the room during our five-day stay, which theoretically is fine, but turns out to be a problem when the trash quickly fills up with dirty diapers.

Kathy B.

Yelp
I would not recommend this hotel. It's dirty, the hall ways and elevator are gross. The water park needs to be power washed. Behind the toilet in our room hasn't been cleaned for years. One of the big water slides rides broke, they texted Thursday night. I tried to cancel due to that was the reason we booked that hotel. wouldn't let me. You have to pay for parking! It is not worth the money. Front desk don't really care about anything. I will never stay there again.

Yelp
Water park excellent. Arcades complete rip off. Drinks pretty reasonable but of course pricey. Food absolutely downright horrible. Next level frozen Sysco food, as if they had a fire sale and the only buyers for the elderly franchises and Wolf Lodge chain (way to go Blackstone!). I'm at a loss for words, Go anywhere else McDonald's would be fast casual compared to this.

Yelp
Update to my first post. So this time we decided to spend one night here. It was of course and amazing experience. The ONLY thing I would do differently is either bring my own food or eat outside. The food is over priced and taste horrible! For lunch yesterday we ate at buckets. The staff were AMAZING!! And I mean AMAZING! The food was sub par and way over priced. We for one burger and fries, one chicken sandwich with fries, one order of onion rings and an order of cheese curds for 70 bucks and the fries were cold and rubbery, the burger was dry and the onion rings were just not that good now I will say my cheese curds were delicious. For dinner we ate at the pizza place, again the staff were amazing!! We ordered 3 of the personal pizzas, a salad and some wings. First we waited over 30 mins with our buzzer that never buzzed so I went to go check on our food and had been ready for quite sometime, so if you get a buzzer know that it doesn't work. When we got our food they had forgotten my nephews chicken so I just had them make it and I would dump it on top of it. The pizza was just okay. Tasted a little boxy and the cheese was of course you could tell had been sitting for a while. The salad was pretty good. The total for all this was almost 80 bucks. Our last meal here was the loose moose lodge. I will say this STAY AWAY AND DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. this is by far the most waste of your money. It's 23.95 per adult and 9.99 for each child. The Buffett has only a few items. The most I would pay for this Buffett is 15 bucks. The service is horrible. And I mean horrible. We waited 5 mins before a hostess came to even seat anyone and the line was long. Then our server was horrible. Waited over 10 mins before she came to check on us. I can literally name the items on the "Buffett" there was chicken nuggets, tatter tots, macaroni, eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage patties, sausage links, chicken and waffles, ham. Then there was a small fruit bar a small pastries bar. A omelet bar then some bread cereal and oatmeal. When we went to the one in Dallas and it was about the same price, they had a plethora of items more like 10x the offer compared to here. This great wolf lodge needs to do better for their food especially for the price. But the customer service is impeccable here. Except for one front desk lady. She always has an attitude. But she doesn't kill it for me. If they either got rid of her or fixed her attitude this place would be unstoppable w their customer service.

Yelp
Interesting to read all the mixed reviews. I have to say, we were pretty impressed overall. Yes, it's expensive and then they do nickel and dime you TO DEATH. They do arrange things here so that you traipse all over with your kids, and they get an eyeful of things that they sure wish you'd buy for them on the way, haha! The waterpark is included with your stay, but in order to get to the waterpark, you have to walk past the candy store, the ice cream, the donuts, the arcade, through the climbing/adventure park, the putt-putt golf... but just have a plan in mind and explain it to your kids before you come, and it'll be fine. You can choose to cut some corners and still make this a great family memory. I found a promo code online for 50% off and that made things more reasonable. We came to celebrate a birthday and I splurged for the least expensive birthday package ($40). I wouldn't do that again--not worth it, in my opinion. But the room was clean and cozy and beds were comfortable--pillows were great!! Everything was so clean and well-maintained in our room. I was really concerned about what noise levels would be like, given how crazy it was in the lobby for story time and the dance party (in a good way... my kids had a blast) , but once we were in our room for the night, it was SILENT. Not a peep all night. Woke up refreshed, to a beautiful view. We only did the included water park portion of the activities, and didn't add on other packages; for my kids that was plenty. I did pre-purchase the $150 in dining credits for $120- we used that up and then some on dinner and breakfast (2 adults, 2 kids), so word to the wise. In hindsight, I wish we hadn't done the breakfast buffet and instead just gotten food from Dunkin' Donuts (there's one onsite, and you can use your dining credits there) because the kids were so excited to go be in the waterpark that they barely ate anything for breakfast, so an "all-you-can-eat" buffet was kind of a waste for them. You could save some $$ by eating elsewhere or bringing food with you (there's a little fridge and microwave in the rooms) but honestly both meals we ate on-site were good food, the service was excellent, and the kids were happy. Every inch of the resort that we experienced was really clean and well-maintained. The water park side of the resort is well thought-out and has lots of activities for a lot of age groups, including a whole separate little mini water park for toddlers. It's super warm, the water is warm, there's tons of seating and free wifi. The water slides range in fear factor from very tame to really challenging, and the wave pool is a nice break. Overall, it felt like a worthwhile experience for us, but definitely wound up costing more than we would have felt totally comfortable with, after all the little charges came trickling in (like my husband's soda in the pool area; they charge you literally for every ounce!!). But like I said budget and plan wisely, set your kids up with clear expectations, and you'll have a good time!

Yelp
GREAT WOLF LODGE IS SO MUCH FLIPPING FUN! The rock climbing was a 6.5/10 its definitely fun but out of here this is the least fun Mini golf 7/10 its really fun every hole is really cool Ropes course 8/10 this is super cool a lil scary but fun And finally THE WATER PARK! 10/10! Way too fun my favorite slide was the drop slide but all the slides are fun BUT PLS GO ON THE DROP SLIDE PS The rooms were really cool

Ricky B.

Yelp
No cash accepted. A Federal Reserve Note is NOT accepted as legal tender. Non of the shops, arcade or rock wall take cash.

Amanda E.

Yelp
We stayed for 1 night. I prepaid and used a holiday deal. We ordered the Pup Pass. It cost us 819!!!! This was definitely not what I signed up for. My total should have been about $500. Do not go here unless you are willing to pay double what is advertised online. And the pool stinks like a sweet in the morning. The food was gross. The quality has gone way down hill the last couple of years. Fly to Disney World instead!!!

Karsten C.

Yelp
This place is too new to be this bad. We had our program stay from Friday-Sunday and it was a mess. It seems to be completely run by teenagers. Every time we had a question staff had no clue of an answer. We got charged $183 after being told our voucher covered breakfast. Just extremely unprofessional as a whole. Another con was there only being 3 elevators. We waited in queue for up to 15 minutes. Yes it was crowded but it is crazy to have only 3 and the staircases are all inaccessible and hidden in back hallways. Lastly, the food is disgusting to say the least. Breakfast was horrible. The water from the soda machine at the "Buckets" pool restaurant tasted like there was mold in it. Overall terrible experience. Honestly the "fun" our group had is the only reason i'm rating 2 stars instead of 1. I never leave reviews but this place sucked. You have to pay close attention or you will be charged for nothing. Don't come here if you want to get your moneys worth.

Tim H.

Yelp
Expensive. They don't miss a chance to extract $ from wallets. It was very clean and I could see attendants continuously wiping things down and picking up things. The grandkids did some sort of search where they shook and pointed wands to activate items and collect tokens. They seemed to really enjoy this scavenger hunt. But this place is super expensive, which is okay, just don't walk in expecting any bargains. They had the air conditioning on overdrive. I had to step out to warm myself several times even though I brought a fleece in with me after the first warm up. In reading other reviews as I did this one, I noticed that high prices were a recurrent theme, the staff was excellent but the food was also costly and not that good. One reviewer suggested eating elsewhere, which is not hard to do, Interquest is lousy with places to eat close by.

Demitrius D.

Yelp
Nice little get away spot for the family. Absolutely no complaints. Good customer service and attentive to our needs. Good visit.

Stewart J.

Yelp
The Great Wolf Lodge is a big place with a lot of different restaurants and quick service places inside of it. I will try to limit this review to specifically what the Great Wolf Lodge the hotel/resort has to offer. This is an interesting place. I won't say that it is strictly for kids but it does seem like it is focusing on the age group of "kid" straight through. I can imagine that any kid between 7 and 12 would have a great time here. Any kid younger might get too overwhelmed and any kid older would probably want to leave by the second day. My wife, daughter (aged 7), and I went here and we all had a pretty great time. It was a trip focused on our daughter for her birthday so it was all about letting her have fun. She did! I am sure that if she had her way she would have stayed multiple nights but we only stayed for one night and two full days. When you check in to the hotel they give you wristbands/passes depending on your hotel package and this is so no matter where you go in the resort you can get any exclusive offers to people staying at the hotel. The wristband is also the way you get into your hotel room which made it nice to know we didn't need to look after a hotel key of any kind when visiting the water park. We got the birthday package for my daughter which meant that the hotel staff put a big red banner across our hotel door, left a cake and all necessary plates, cups, and utensils (except a knife to cut the cake hahaha), and a nice bouquet of balloons. My daughter loved all these things but thought the red banner across the door was like "caution tape" and was a bit weirded out until she actually read the banner. Pretty funny. A nice thing about this resort is that you can arrive any time the day of your stay and they get you set up to start using all they have to offer. We got to the hotel early and enjoyed the water park hours before our actual check in time. This didn't limit us being able to charge things to our room or check out towels in the water park area. The water park has just enough for every kid and adult (and nothing more). To me, it was like the absolute best Rec center aquatic center I have ever visited plus four rides. I didn't experience the rides as my daughter was having fun with the other water stuff except the Wolf Tail which I did on my own. It is one of those free fall tube rides that locks you in and drops you 20ft while you are in a water tube. It was a lot of fun and had a nice thrill level for me. The highlight of the resort for my daughter and family was having her do the MagiQuest. This aspect of the hotel does require some extra cash to be thrown down but it was worth it to see my daughter become so enthralled. Basically, MagiQuest involves getting a wand (and optional wand "topper" that if you don't get your wand looks like it is missing something) and going around to different portals and items that when you "cast" your wand towards them they either light up or make a sound or show something on a screen. It felt very magical to my daughter and this was by far her favorite thing. Now as an adult and parent you should know some things about MagiQuest. It does cost extra. If you are familiar with video games it is pretty much a series of fetch quests that will have you running around the ground level of the hotel (back and forth a lot of times). The whole thing from start to finish will probably take around 6 hours especially if you let your kid run the show. We ended up buying a theme wand, a topper, and a cloak for my daughter. She loved it all! There are other things to do as well. Arcade, gem panning, ropes course, and rock climbing. If anything this resort is a good time because no matter if your kid is an indoor or outdoor kid, adventurous or more hesitant, into magic or into reality they are going to have something that they can do. There are premiums being charged here but it is a resort for your kid and if you are coming for a good time, it is probably the right time to spend a little extra. Once again, this review and rating is not including or factoring in Build a Bear which is another thing your kid might want.

Yelp
Somewhere between 3 and 3.5 stars. We stayed at GWL for a night and did the water park for a few hrs when we arrived and then for a few more hours the next day. I'll start with the good-- - if you're coming for the water park you won't be disappointed. Plenty of slide options for kids of all sizes, from the gentle declines to a free fall for older ones. Plus a whirlpool with waves that the kiddos really enjoyed. - all of the staff we saw were very nice - room was nothing fancy. but spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The two queen beds were just fine for our crew of four to share, and there was a foldout couch we did not use. ...And the not so good - the food options were awful. Pizza, burgers, donuts, bbq. Nothing interesting or healthy anywhere in the resort. And it was all overpriced--an order of chicken tenders and fries was about $20. We didn't eat anything at the resort--instead we brought breakfast and snacks and went offsite to Atmosphere Gastropub for our only dinner (about 5 min drive) which was excellent and much cheaper than the food in-resort. Despite their only selling junk food we were not allowed to bring our bananas and celery into the water park. Eating in the water park was limited to buying the junk food they serve. - While the resort caters to kids, there's nothing other than alcohol to keep adults engaged. No gym or fitness center, no hot tub in the water park, no lazy river, etc. Overall this was a fine stop for a night and the kids enjoyed. But I'd probably not return.

Yelp
We absolutely loved the dinner detective show! Came here for a Christmas party with work and it was a blast! The actors were amazing and so interactive. The food and drinks were amazing!

Yelp
We try to keep a tidy house and I have to say we do a decent job. But... if our house was as clean as this Great Wolf's bathroom, I would be able to take a few days off. I know that's a weird comparison, but it's true. We've been to other Great Wolf Lodges, but our favorite is the one that takes less than 2 hours to drive to from our home.

Michael V.

Yelp
Had a fun time at The Great Wolf Lodge. Customer service was great. Alyssa, Mia & Jesica were amazing. But the price is expensive and I don't think the value for the amount you pay is worth it.

Leah C.

Yelp
The great wolf lodge seems to have given up. We've been coming for years and the overall vibe is just going downhill fast. Basic rooms are a ridiculously overpriced one star motel room that smell dirty and falling apart. It looked like the room we were in may have flooded from the room above us. Food in most of the restaurants is absolutely disgusting. I could not eat it. Souvenirs are extremely overpriced. Absolutely skip the game room I am totally shocked at what they are charging for games and redeeming tickets. Save your money and stay at a nicer place and eat at a local restaurant and just come over for the waterpark. I'm giving 3 stars because staff and service are pretty great. I will not be returning until overall experience is a good value.

Yelp
A kid heaven but not adult. If you are easily overstimulated by loud noises bring noise canceling ear pods. My husband did and I borrowed them occasionally and it was a life saver! I wish they would add some sound proofing. We had a cabana rented one day #7 and it was $150 , on the weekend it would have been $250 which seems to expensive. If you can get a cabana ask for one of the first numbers as they seemed quieter (and darker) and more private. We had a line next to us and couldn't hear the tv because of how loud it was. The waitress was nice and it was fun to order food and have a lock box. The water park is very fun and the highlight. Lots of slides for all ages. If you have a very short child you might not be able to do 2 of them. The wave pool goes off about every 5 min and is a blast! It can get a bit crowded as it seems only one area of pool gets the big waves that everyone gravitates towards. Again I wish there was sound proofing- felt like I had to yell to be heard. The food is overpriced and not very good- except the loose moose had a delicious roast chicken and wine was not up charged much- we had a good bottle of Pinot for $47. The kids meals there were about 8.99 and chicken tenders good, burger burnt and gross. For food- go out or get the pizza place. We like atmosphere pub, Torchys, in and out, omlet ect and loyal coffee which are all about 5 min away. They had trick or treating for kids which was fun but I wish I had known to bring their costumes- you need the app downloaded to get you the schedule of activities. There was a fun interactive video type game you walk around with a wand and collect things to defeat a dragon and then me a magi! It was hard to hear because of the noise but very fun for a 9 year old boy! Mining was loved by both my kids. My son got a huge crystal , my daughter got only small pieces. Bowling is mini but fun. Mini golf is 9 holes not super fancy but short and sweet for kids. There is a challenge ropes coarse that was too much for my 5 year old but good for older kids. Rooms were nice and quiet and comfortable. I loved the kids had a slightly separate space. Rooms with a view of the mountains are extra so we didn't do that. My day agree loves the craft time. My kids loved the arcade but it's very expensive- like $5 a game.

Yelp
This place is for kids, period. The water park offers three tiers of excitement for babies and toddlers, young kids, teens and adults. There really isn't any adult "relaxation" here. But great if you like water slides, wave pool and want to offer kids a fun time. The water park is the highlight of GWL. Chairs and tables go quick at the water park. Recently they've gotten rid of lounge chairs, and all chairs are upright to crowd in more people. There are cabanas for rent for a more comfortable relaxed area. The food is kid friendly - pizza, burgers, doughnuts. Does not offer healthier, higher food quality options for adults - but there are a lot of food options outside and near the resort. Rooms are fair. Pillows are horrible and super plush (this needs to change). Get ready for bent neck. I prefer medium-soft or soft pillows. No options for less "bulky". Pull-outs are very uncomfortable, but fine for light-weight kids who don't know better. Beds are standard. Bunk-rooms are a blast for kids. Only select rooms have a balcony and/or view. Rooms also come with mini-fridge and wet-bar sink, great for storing cold cereal or snacks for kids during your stay. Entertainment options are fun for kids: Ropes course, climbing wall, mini-bowling, Magic-Quest, build-a-bear, arcade, etc. Can get $$$, so pup-passes are really the only way to go than al-la-carte.

Yelp
Great place for family fun ! Staff was AMAZING on our last trip . Waterpark was fun with lots to do . Only downfall is it's kinda far from food options . Their family style breakfast was nice though . Great variety of food for the whole family .Went during Covid and my kids still talk about it .We've gone to several locations since then & this location has the best customer service hands down thus far.

Yelp
Do NOT try to make a reservation with these people. they're incredibly stupid. first I called to buy 2 day passes for 2 adults, and they scheduled my reservation for the complete wrong date. Then failed to send me the confirmation email, then when I called back to get the email, and change the date of my reservation to the right date that I very clearly gave them the first time, they tried to charge me more money to fix something that they messed up. THEN they told me you have to be 21 or older to go to a fucking KIDS WATERPARK. in what do you need to be 21 to go to a waterpark for children. on top of all that it's gonna be 7-10 days before I get a refund. these people are completely stupid. great wolf lodge is not worth your time or money. don't do it.

Yelp
So we decided to check this out with our two kids who are teenagers. Check in process was easy for our room. We quickly realized that most activities are created for twelve and under. Upon arrival you can get free wolf ears at their store. There are a lot of activities here like build a bear, sponsored activities put on by the Lodge, mini golf, mini bowling, mini rock wall, and lots of food stores (all extra cost of course) I will say that I am not sure what all the activities are because they don't really give you an info about it. So basically you get a wrist band, as your kids run around looking at everything, and as they begin begging for things, you quickly realize that most things there are extra cost. So you can really drop a lot of money here. I dropped two stars for that because I really feel that there should be a lot more transparency regarding costs of things and you should be given a schedule of activities that the Lodge puts on. As a tip, you don't need to buy extra passes for them to do all the other stuff because honestly, they are going to want to stay at the water park once they walk through everything else to get there. Things are strategically placed in such a way to make the most money they can. Next to this hotel is a huge bowling place (full size) with games etc so you can go there. There is a movie theatre, Scheels with its Ferris Wheel...all this within walking distance. Also, very close is so many food places. You should leave and just go get food that way, it will be cheaper and taste better. We really like Zoup, Torchy's tacos, Crumble Cookies, and Rush Bowls. The water park is fantastic. They run it well. Lines move fairly quick and even little kids can go on the bigger slides with an adult. For my teens, it was a lot of fun for them so we may go back and just buy half day water park passes on a cold winter day. There are four big fun slides and then tons of stuff for little kids including some little kid slides plus a wave pool. Need shoes that strap on if your feet are sensitive to the hard floors and stairs. Kids will likely want goggles as most of the big slides splash your face. Showers, lockers and changing rooms are near the wave pool and towels can be checked out for free. Rooms: they don't have adjoining rooms (which would be nice) but they are clean-despite the carpet being somewhat outdated. Bathrooms are large although showers are small. You can sign into your Netflix account here which is really nice. Rooms tend to run hot in the summer even with the air conditioning on. Beds were comfortable and they all include a waterproof mattress cover. Our room never cooled down and we were in the 6th floor . The elevators are super slow so...ask for a room close to the lobby so you can use stairs. So, it is lots of fun but here in Co Springs, there are tons of entertainment around it so stick with just the water park and use everything else around you for entertainment and food.

Yelp
Have a nice view from our room of random flip flops and trash on the roof. Plus the internet in the room is non existent.

Shantell P.

Yelp
This place is 100% FOR KIDS, so all the reviews saying this place is trash by a bunch of adults (did you kids have fun, were they in heaven) if the answer is yes then there ya go. Our kids loved it so much, and my husband and I were just happy to take our kids somewhere where our kids had the best time. Definitely over priced and the food is not worth the price so we just went elsewhere to eat! Overall a good place, probably won't be back for a while because it's so expensive!

Yelp
So had issues checking in last night after using a 3rd party to get a room. IMHO, go through the actual company than the another company it will make life much easier. Also, you will have to pay to park if you want a close place to park here. There are free parking spots, but expect to walk a little. Food! Yes there is food, and expect to pay there to. Nothing is included in the stay only your room and water park. That's it!

Yelp
The best location we've visited. We went last summer and again this summer. Both times the staff was friendly, approachable, and helpful. The dining staff for breakfast were on point for their customer service and accuracy. Be sure to book when there's some special to get a good deal on the rooms. I compared to other hotels before choosing here and the prices were similar, and those don't include a water park or free activities for my kid! Compared to some other locations, this one keeps their equipment clean and running. Others I've been at are dirty or show their age unfortunately. NOT HERE! This location has the absolutely best views of Pikes Peak and the Rockies in general, which you can view from the outdoors eating area and if you get a balcony room. The water park is clean and staff is fully present, even during lifeguard training practices. While this location doesn't have a lazy river, the wave pool is stellar. All indoors, so you don't have to worry about those Colorado winters. There's water activities for ages baby to adult, so everyone has someone to do. Not into water parks? There's indoor activities to keep you busy as well. If you go in summer, there's extra activities to keep your little pup engaged. My daughter absolutely loves this place so we'll be back for sure. We as adults love the views and the joy we see from her.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay recently for my daughter's 11th birthday. Our two days were jam-packed with activities! Our kids adored the water park, and the Adventure Pass + Paw Pass gave them TONS of activities to do including unlimited mini golf, rock wall climbing, ropes course and bowling. Everyone from kids to grandparents had a wonderful time. Renting a cabana was an extra touch that enhanced our water park stay by giving us a "home base" in the waterpark and a comfortable place to hang out. We will definitely be back!

Vicki F.

Yelp
The kids had fun. They could have had the same fun for far less money. The rooms are average if not underwhelming for the price. The activities aren't all accessible unless you buy a pricey package. The food for breakfast (we ordered from Dunkin Donuts) was ok, the donuts were stale. Dinner was not worth the price, but our server was awesome There was nothing the could do when a child screamed (not cried, screamed) until 3am and then woke up before 7am and started again) so our family got little sleep. They truly should have either moved that family or ours (although we weren't the only family affected or contacting them). You spend Disneyland money for a fraction of the fun or experiences. It is out of the range of affordability for the average family to spend for the quality.

Yelp
I don't even know what to say. $15 a day for parking on top of an overpriced room. Rooms had stains on the floor, smelled like mold, hair in the beds, used bar soap for hands, used toilet paper, used sheets that weren't changed, and no housekeeping. I mean this is wild. The food is mad overpriced, tasted like dog food, and the employees didn't give a single crap on what to do and how to help customers. Water park was lame and the location in Grapevine, Texas had a better water park. No lazy river, no hot tubs, no normal pool to relax in. I know it supposed to be a lodge but it feels outdated and unsanitary. The beds were rocks, the sheets were two feet long, and I'm probably sleeping in little Timmy's urine from the previous stay since they don't change the sheets. Never returning again. Only reason I am giving GWL a star is because the other activities were half decent.

Yelp
Granted it's Veterans Day and that We live an hour and a half from this place to celebrate my grandson's birthday. My kids and grandkids enjoyed it, rented 4 rooms for 3 days but the only thing is that I seriously can't see how the security and the head of beverage manager refused to sell me and my family alcohol when every individual whom consumes alcohol get carded. They misjudged customers whom purchases to patronize their business. That's so sad that we've ended up with this type of discrimination. I will not highly recommend this place at al. Never again !!!!

Yelp
I am a socal worker with Abode Hospice of CO Springs. We are caring for a pt who has been a CNA in the springs for the past 29 years, many of those years were spent caring for hospice patients. She had a final wish of taking her 3 dtrs and their families to include spouses and a total of 10 grandkids to Great Wolf Lodge. They partnered with Abode giving this special family a true VIP experience. They were able to provide mountain view rooms, arcade passes, cabanna in the pool area, pizza and cake and lots of attention to ensure this was a truly memorable experience. Thanks to Great Wolf for making this a howling good time.

Yelp
I have a love/hate relationship with GWL. They do some things really well and others make me nuts. We have been to this location twice, Aug '22 and Aug '23. Each time the experience was similar, the amenities were the same and we stayed for one night. My main frustration is you are already spending a fortune to stay there so their extra rules are just annoying. For example I packed a snack for the pool since I don't want to eat a burger or fries at their food stand. I also didn't want to spend $20-30 on a "snack". When we got in line for the pool the woman asked if she could check my bag. I didn't remember this about our stay last year but she immediately saw my trail mix and said I couldn't bring that in. She told me I'd have to take that to my car or my hotel room if I was staying here. I was not pleased as we had just driven an hour to get there and my son wanted to swim and I was ready to relax. I get that they want you to buy their food but seriously, having go back to your room (which takes a bit of time w elevators etc) to put a small bag of trail mix away is just silly. The other issue I have is there are no prices on most items in the gift shop. My son was trying to add up items since he was using his money but we had no idea what they cost. I don't know if this is a tactic but come on, put some prices on things! Otherwise we had a good time, things seemed clean and well monitored in the pool area for safety. The pool rides are fun and we did build a bear, ice cream and the candy cup with a Paw Pass. Be prepared though everything is additional. If you want to enter the pool at 9 am before they open at 10, that costs $40 extra. I appreciate that this is all about upgrades (you can upgrade your room, your kid pass, get a cabana, etc) but sometimes when you're paying a premium some basics should be included. Just my opinion though.

Yelp
The food is "Terrible" The veggie burger was very dry. The fries were cold and chewy. The customer service was horrible. They don't even care.! This is our first time talk about getting nickel and dimed we spent nearly $500 for one night and I'm not even sure what we got Lol I told my son don't plan on going back! We will just keep going to Glenwood Springs like we usually do this little side trip was a one off and a last one! lol

Yelp
This gwl is definitely more for the little kids. My 11 year old was bored after the first day. Food there is trash and crazy expensive. The salad I had was like 3 days old. Our pizza was the only half decent thing we ate there. We bought the adventure pass and the kids did enjoy the ropes course, Rock climbing, mini golf and miniature bowling alley. The water park and while facility was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. For how much money it cost, I would just expect more

Venus Z.

Yelp
The water park was fun, and the mini stores were good and the rooms were nice and clean but the loose moose restaurant was very disgusting, my uncle ordered a hamburger and it was burnt, my buttered spaghetti was watered down and disgusting and plain, my moms salmon was sweet and the fried rice was mushy and flavorless with carrots, and the veg weren't cooked.

Adam M.

Yelp
This is a really nice place to bring the family, my kiddos had an awesome time and absolutely loved the water park. I did expect it to be slightly bigger, but either way it was a great experience and had a lot of options for kids of different ages. The place itself was crowded but we did go on a weekend, and be prepared to walk past all the "extra cost options" on your way to the pool which make it almost impossible not to spend any additional money on your way either to or from the water park. There was only 1 elevator bank with 3 elevators (2 of which weren't working) which made for VERY long lines to get up and down and I'm not even sure if all 3 were working that would be enough. We didn't try any of the food here, as we opted for options outside of the resort but they looked decent. Overall, this is a great place to bring the kiddos for a fun experience.

Yelp
We have been to five different GWLs and this is by far the smallest and least entertaining. Of course, the kids (aged 13-28), kept busy with MagiQuest for 3 days and got a lot of steps in for the day even though this one did not span the multiple floors as the GWLs, it stayed within the first floor and main activity areas. Upon entering the waterpark, we were disappointed to not see a lazy river or hot tub and the water was super cold! With it being so small, we're grateful we came during a quiet season. Any other time, it will not take much to pack the place and any fun to be had would quickly slide out the door. If I could get a refund, I would just stay here for 3 days MAX and spend the rest of the week at neighboring hotels. The area has a good variety of restaurants and shopping to keep us entertained, but we're likely not to return to this location regardless how beautiful or extraordinary the service. I would like to end on a positive note and that is to bring light to the staff and customer service at GWL. No matter the situation, they are always going above and beyond to assist and create a great experience: when a shower head broke they fixed it within 10 minutes. When my husband's swim trunks flew off the balcony they took a lost & found report, gave us a QR code to ship it to us when found, they even offered to climb onto a rooftop if we spotted it! When we overslept to make the breakfast buffet they allowed us to grab what we can while they cleaned up and still served us coffee.

Yelp
The kids love this place! Lots of things for them to do! Swim park, magic quest, bowling, mini golf, rock wall, alpine course, arcade... best to get the family pass and just do it all

Shannon B.

Yelp
SUPER OVER RATED! A family of three boys at $400 per night was NOT worth it. CO Springs Wolf Lodge even sent out a desperate promo... $84 per night Sunday - Thursday... It's the old bait and switch... We checked every date and NOT one single sun-thur gets that price! Here's the kicker, my son said... "Who cares, that place isn't that great!" Don't waste your money! As a Colorado native, don't waste your money here.... I don't want you to remember Colorado as this trash place.

Yelp
This was our second (and last) GWL visit. Two things contributed to this - 1) the waterpark was disgusting, and 2) Fawn at the ice cream shop put the icing on the cake. Water in the waterpark was foggy. I don't know why, but it really grossed me out. My kids and I waited in line for ice cream for 30 minutes at like 7:30pm. When it was our turn to order, Fawn skipped us. Didn't even look at us. The lady running the register felt so bad, she put gloves on and made my son an ice cream cone. It was so ridiculous. When I called her out, she said she asked who was next. Didn't even make it right. It's ice cream for godsake. To top it all off, 3 of 4 in my family left with food poisoning. Vomited all night and the next day. Drove back to Denver with barf bags. Probably the pizza, but we can't be sure of course. Possibly the foggy water....

Yelp
My US Air Force Academy class reunion was held at the Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs last week so I reached out to the hotel to ensure it would work for me due to my disability. For me to transfer from my wheelchair to the bed I use a Hoyer lift and its legs need to roll under the bed. Because their rooms are like most hotels that are blocked off, the manager told the Director of maintenance to do what's necessary for me. He got a metal bedframe for the room, making it usable for me along with the roll-in shower. Not all ADA rooms work for all disabilities, and not all hotels help in situations like this. I sincerely appreciate both the manager and director of maintenance for going out of their way. Had they not bothered I would have missed my 25 year reunion.

Yelp
This is the perfect destination for families. They really have just about everything you will need right onsite. The waterpark is included in your overnight stay which is awesome. My toddlers had the BEST time ever and there was so much for them to do despite being tiny people. They do a great job of offering a ton of other things to do like arcade, mini golf, bowling, build-a-bear (all of which cost extra!!). Be prepared to take that wallet out. We did not eat any meals on site as we opted to get out of the hotel for dinner and Starbucks is just around the corner. There is a Dunkin Donuts on site though if that is your preference. My only gripe is the damn elevators. OMG. You will wait and wait and wait. Request a lower floor so stairs are optional for you. Unfortunately, we were on the 8th floor so the stairs weren't easy with two toddlers and luggage. If you have a fear of crowded elevators/covid/etc.... you've been warned. People will CRAM their way on after waiting and waiting. Also, there was a sign for a fitness center but it's gone. They got rid of it from lack of use. That was kind of disappointing but for a quick trip, I guess it wasn't necessary. We will def be bringing our kids back to the Great Wolf for a chaotic family fun weekend.

Baisy L.

Yelp
We were really looking forward to celebrating my daughter's birthday here but THE PRICES ARE ASTRONOMICAL ! We haven't stayed in a while and we have been here a lot of times before for celebrating. We even just went to the arcade just to see if we could play a couple games and again nope! They raised it so much you'll have to spend a fortune to just play a couple games. If y'all can afford it good for you but for the rest of us it seems to no longer be a place for everyone. And I'm telling you they doing the same things as last time and the time before. In fact, even less for more of your money. It's a shame we really loved it here.

Vanessa B.

Yelp
We had such a blast at great wolf lodge. I took my toddler who is 3 years old. He wasn't quite tall enough to go on some of the bigger slides he wanted to, but he did phenomenal in the smaller pool, wave pool, and fort area. We got a lot of compliments on his swimming skills because he is an independent swimmer. We loved the Halloween decorations, trick or treating, the dance party, along with many other activities. We got the pup pass which is a good value and the breakfast pass. Breakfast was plentiful and filling but I do not recommend the restaurant for dinner, overpriced and mediocre food at best, but it is hard to mess up breakfast.

Judy N.

Yelp
DO NOT BUY THE FOOD HERE. It is expensive and mediocre if not poor quality. There are extremely limited tables to eat at (while the tables and chairs are overtaken by people who aren't even eating). There are plenty of food options nearby--including Cheddar's, Whataburger, Torchy's Tacos, and Colorado Mountain Brewery--that offer tasty and quality food for about the same price if not less...and you get to eat at a table with chairs. The staff is nice as are the pool and rides. The attraction is well worth the experience for kids and families. We are local to the area and one night was more than enough. Magic quest was a FANTASTIC and well worth the money. Spend your money on that for the kids rather than a food. I would rather have fasted or gone without than to consume the unworthy calories and mediocrity of the food available here.

EL L.

Yelp
Here's the room blankets we had to deal with. Called front desk a couple times and nobody came. The fold out bed seemed pretty dirty with food crumbs. This is one location we don't recommend or will come back to. The plus side is they have a nice view.
