We had a wonderful experience here! Our room was very clean and it was nice to have a room with no carpet. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The food was pretty good and the prices were reasonable. The waterpark was awesome!! Even on a day where it seemed to be very busy, we found the waterpark and the way it was spaced out with different areas accommodated large crowds well and the lines were not too long. My one gripe was the wolf pass. It's a pass that they physically mark off each activity included. If you lose it, you are out of luck. I feel like this could easily be accomplished digitally through the app. I guess it was my fault for trusting my 6 year old to hold on to it because he did in fact lose it after we had only used half of the experiences. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back!

Our room was super clean and newly remodeled. We went during their offseason period, so it was a fun, family friendly, peaceful place to stay. It’s a short (less than 10 min) uber ride from Disneyland too. It’s a walkable area with a few restaurants to choose from both in the lodge and in the neighborhood. The pizza in the lodge was surprisingly good, and there is a Dunkin in the lodge for a quick breakfast or coffee. We really enjoyed the bowling alley and arcade, when we weren’t at the water park or down the street at Disney.

At first glance, the property is beautiful and centrally located. It’s close to shopping, Disneyland, and the beaches, which makes it convenient for families. Unfortunately, the experience has several flaws that made our stay less enjoyable. The room: We booked a family suite with two beds. It was spacious and clean, but our toilet barely worked and the sink had issues as well. For the price, basic functionality shouldn’t be a problem. Food options: The food selection was typical amusement‑park fare; pizza, burgers, a buffet, and Dunkin’. Nothing special, but nothing terrible either. The water park: This is where things really fell short. If there is a dress code, it’s not enforced. Many guests were in regular street clothes, even socks and shoes, inside the pools. Over two days, our bags were never checked at entry, which raised safety concerns. The park also felt extremely overcrowded, making it hard to enjoy the attractions. Overall: While the location is great and the property looks nice, the lack of safety measures, overcrowding, and room maintenance issues were disappointing. I would probably not book again, there are better water parks in the area that offer a safer and more organized experience.

We came to celebrate our child’s fifth birthday and it truly meant so much to our family. Everything was thoughtfully designed for kids and every staff member we met was so kind and welcoming. The birthday badge completely made our child’s day. I have never seen such a big smile. This trip gave us memories we will cherish forever, even more than any luxury hotel stay. Thank you for making it so special. We cannot wait to come back for our second child’s birthday.

It's not a 5 star resort but for what you pay, it's a great deal for families. We've stayed in both the older and newer rooms and the newer ones are definitely better but the old ones aren't too bad. For the price of the rooms it includes the water park passes which is a good deal. Parking is $36.50 for the day of stay plus next day so you can play at the water park for 2 days (included in the 1 night stay) and head out the next afternoon. Good dining options nearby for dinner and the food at the water park isn't too bad in price or quality for a park. And we love going to Nickel Nickel at night. We come multiple times a year.

We just returned from a two-night stay at Great Wolf Lodge Southern California, and I cannot say enough great things about our experience! I went with my two teens (a 14-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter), and it ended up being one of our favorite family trips ever.||From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, the resort was spotless, and the energy was pure fun. My teens were instantly hooked on the Howlin’ Tornado slide and could not stop riding it. We also loved MagiQuest, which turned into a full-blown scavenger hunt through the hotel that actually got them off their phones and working together. For any parent of teens, that alone is worth five stars!||We decided to get the Wolf Pass, and it was completely worth it. It covered bowling, mini golf, MagiQuest, arcade games, Build-A-Bear, and even a few sweet treats. My kids loved having the freedom to go off and do their own thing, while I relaxed knowing everything was right on the property and completely safe.||Our room was spacious, clean, and super comfortable. The food options were great too — we had pizza for lunch, Dunkin’ coffee in the morning, and ice cream from Ben & Jerry’s for dessert. Everything was easy and convenient, which made it a stress-free trip for me.||What impressed me most was the value. For what we paid, we got two full days of water park access, a beautiful room, and endless entertainment all under one roof. Compared to the cost of a single-day ticket at other water parks, this felt like such a great deal.||If you are wondering whether Great Wolf Lodge is fun for teens, the answer is absolutely yes. My kids laughed nonstop, made memories, and are already asking when we can go back. Highly recommend for families with older kids — it’s a getaway that makes everyone feel like a kid again!

The rooms were absolutely lovely for the price and it was so great to have breakfast, dunking doughnuts, and convenience stores in our hotel. All of the staff was exceptional especially the cafe staff who went out of their way to make sure we were fed and comfortable. We were also visiting Disneyland and Great Wolf Lodge was on the ART Grove 3 line we sometimes took Lyft when the bus was delayed. It was a little too far for us to walk to Disneyland but we were always able to get a ride. The hotel is very family friendly and great for kids of all ages.

First off we are adults with no children, but love a good water park. This place was great!!! The children were well entertained and having just as much fun as us. The staff was top notch , smiles with a sense of humor. The bartender at dinner had us in stitches. The rooms are clean and comfortable, I look forward to visiting again.

My 5 star review is for Caesar Sandoval and Julian Morano. They were working the Wipeout ride and I was blown away by their kindness. My nephew was scared to try wipeout and he has vision issues, Julian guided him and held his hand and went above and beyond to assist him. He enjoyed his experience thanks to him! His kindness brought tears to my eyes. He was so patient and went above and beyond to help him. While my nephew was waiting in line for 20-30 minutes, I watched Caesar Sandoval help everyone else who tried wipeout. He showed them moves, gave them tricks to try, he was patient, kind, and helpful. I was very impressed!

1) Checking In: Check-in takes for-ev-er. Literally- we spent over an HOUR waiting in a SHORT LINE to check in on Friday afternoon 23 Jan 2026. 2) Elevator Floor Buttons: In the parking garage elevators, the white ink on the buttons rubbed off years ago, so you're left guessing which floor you're pushing. 3) Paid Parking: The parking is EXPENSIVE (~$40 per NIGHT), and the entrance and exit gates malfunctioned EVERY TIME WE ENTERED AND LEFT. And the online "app" only lets you pick Valet Parking ($47 per night) and the QR code they give you DOES NOT WORK. 4) No Locker Room: If you stayed on after check out time for using the pool, there is no where to change out of your wet swim suit other than a dirty floored bathroom stall, AND you're not allowed to bring in a bag of dry clothes into the pool area NOR bring your towel OUT OF the pool area to dry yourself with. Why why WHY have a giant pool complex and NO WHERE TO CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES??????? 5) The Room: Bed was small, between a Twin and a Queen size. // The sink is in the main room so if you get up early prepare to wake everyone up while brushing your teeth. // Thin walls- can hear your neighbors. // Carpet- WHAT carpet? // The alarm clock came on at 5am and there's NO OFF BUTTON- wtf??? // Overall, the room sucked. 6) Pool Complex: Really not that big. Don't let the pictures fool you. And one of the main play areas for kids was closed for 3 weeks. And the line for the water slide areas: maybe 30-60 minutes of waiting per use. ----- Me & my wife composed this review---

Wrapping up our stay at the lodge as a returning customer, I just want to say thank you to the wolf pack crew for providing exceptional customer service from the moment we were at the booking service to our actual stay. The Assistant general manager Tchi, and every single staff like the reception desk- the gift shop, and everyone in between made sure all of our needs and accommodation are met and provided. We returned this time with our group of 15 members and I couldn't be happier to show some first timer what an awesome facility this is. We are here during a three day holiday weekend and the place is at full capacity yet most things are taken care of swiftly and accordingly. We live down the street- so for a staycation / weekend getaway- this will be our new go to destination just for the services alone. Last visit for us was may 2025- I'm not sure if it was a remodel or we just got differently floor. But for floor 6 & 8 for our stay this time the room is modern- clean - sleek while keeping the cabin themes charm. New beautiful pull out couch compare to the previous 70s style upholster couches. Non carpet floor. Awesome. Thank you again team for making sure our stay goes amazingly. We are not VIPS or special pass member just returning customer but the team still treat us with such great services. Appreciate that.

I honestly didn't even realize there was an indoor water park here in O.C., so this was a pleasant surprise. My family and my in-laws planned a weekend trip here, and I went in with low expectations, but I genuinely ended up enjoying the getaway. Let me break it down with some pros and cons. Pros: -Indoor water park is the biggest highlight. Perfect for families, especially since weather isn't an issue. It was rainy Christmas, but we all enjoyed the stay. -Plenty of water attractions for kids of all ages. It keeps them entertained for hours. -Very family-friendly environment. The staff are used to kids and families, which makes everything feel more relaxed. -Great bonding experience for families. Everyone stayed busy and entertained. -They have extra activities for the kids throughout the day besides the water attractions such as arts & crafts. Cons: -Food is pricey for what you get. Quality is okay, but definitely on the expensive side. -It was overly crowded on the Christmas weekend. -Extra activities cost extra, which adds up quickly. -The property is HUGE. Our room was very far from the elevator, and after a long day with kids, that walk felt extra long. Definitely ask for a room closer to the elevator if you can. -Cleanliness could improve, especially in the restrooms and common areas, which felt a bit neglected at times with the heavy foot traffic. -Parking is $35 a night Addendum (Helpful Tip) Although official check-in is at 3 PM, you can check in as early as 10 AM and still access the water park. This was a huge plus and allowed us to maximize our first day instead of waiting around. Overall If you have kids and are looking for a fun, easy weekend trip, this place is definitely worth checking out. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed it, and the kids had an absolute blast. Just be prepared for crowds, extra costs, and lots of walking.

Love this place! The promotions they run are amazing and the fact that it includes water park access is great. I found it cute that you get the wolf ears at check-in. We've stayed in the wolf den and also the family suite and both rooms are nice! Rooms come with mini fridge. Beds were comfortable for us! Microwave is usually where the ice machine is. if you schedule permits it, try to go during weekdays when school is in session. parking is about $36 with tax and all done via QR code that you scan upon entering. You will use that same QR code when going in/out. There is also an outdoor water park but we always just stay inside. everything is accessed/charged with the bracelet you get at check-in. On check in day, you can access the water park as soon as it opens, as well as check out day, you can use it until closing. There's plenty of places to eat nearby if you dont feel like eating at the lodge. The first time we visited, we did dinner at the restaurant, got pizza for lunch and did the breakfast buffet. It was just ok..nothing that stood out and kind of pricey but wanted to experience it. The second time, we opted to go to other places. tons of other activities like bowling, mini golf and the arcade. There's also free activities, depending on the season, and dance parties. there are 2 shops in case you forgot something. We will definitely be back!

Went for my God daughter's birthday party @ the hotel. From a kids point of view it was amazing, but from mines (a childless adult) it was loud and unsanitary. Upon arrival it had an old smell inside, like an old hotel. It was night time so there was like a kids dancing party going on. The carpet was dingy. They only had two elevators working, the other was out of service in the elevator the floors/walls were filthy & wet. The room (kids cabin) was cute, very small & compact but cute. The log cabin bunk bed situation was cool. Didn't experience the actual amusement part just the hotel, but I felt like I was at and old outdated Best Western that was family oriented & kid friendly.

We started off the day with a good time, our 5 year old loved wave pool and large playground like structure, as well as the lazy river. There is hot food conveniently located inside as well as lockers to store your items for the day, and restrooms conveniently located. However we had to leave after a couple hours because my wife slipped and fell in the ladies bathroom where there was a pool of standing water and slippery tiles. She ended up fracturing a her wrist and is currently in a cast. The staff was nice enough to help out as she passed out due to the pain and wheel chaired my wife to our car. Our son was so disappointed we had to leave early but it is what it was. Be aware when walking around in the lower bathroom, it can be very slippery. We hope to return again one day as our child really enjoyed it. It would have been nice if they had followed up being that it was $240 before taxes for day passes for 3 people and we were only able to spend 2 hours in the park before we had to leave.

Came here with family of 6. Have been here before, unfortunately this visit was not great. Great Wolf Lodge was very underwhelming. Our room was not ready when we arrived, and when we finally got in, the bed covers were wet as if they had not been properly dried. The kids' den did not have a TV, and the toilet appeared broken, with water running all night. The welcome experience was lacking, and nonstop construction noise made it impossible to relax. When we complained, management said the hotel was fully booked even though it was a Tuesday and the resort felt empty. We were also told the noise would continue until 10 pm, and no effort was made to help or accommodate us. The location itself felt dead, with little to do outside the resort. The balloon activity was also disappointing. The male running the event was rude and seemed annoyed by the kids, with a rude tone and poor disposition. The ladies making the balloons were much nicer and more patient. The only true positive part of our stay was breakfast. The female waitress was outstanding and the clear definition of great customer service. She was attentive, friendly, caring, and always smiling. Booking area appears to be updated with comfortable seating. Build a bear was fun. Nice arcade and attendants. Overall, this stay fell far short of what is expected from the Great Wolf Lodge brand.

We had nothing but a great time here at Great Wolf Lodge. Check-in was easy and the woman who helped us was super friendly! We came on a weekday and so it wasn't super busy and the waterpark felt very clean. Our room was also very clean. We did not eat here and ordered food for delivery as the Great Wolf Lodge food reviews on Yelp were not promising. Our favorite part was the arcade- the arcade is surprisingly larger than expected! We had a great time and will be back to try the other activities!

This was our third stay here, and we booked well in advance for the Christmas season. We pre-checked in before arriving and used the kiosk, which was very easy--you just insert your credit card and it prints your wristbands. You're also asked whether you want a wristband that can be used for payments. We were pleasantly surprised to get our room at 10:20 a.m., which was perfect since the water park opens at 10 a.m. MagiQuest has been reorganized and is no longer spread across guest floors; it's now limited to the lower lobby, lobby, and third floor, which is great because kids tend to use the elevators a lot. Our renovated room had two queen beds plus a pull-out bed, and it smelled freshly updated. We did have an issue with the toilet not getting water, but we passed a housekeeping staff member in the hallway who immediately called maintenance, and the issue was fixed right away. Huge kudos to the FlowRider staff around 4:20 p.m. on 12/21--they were incredibly patient with the kids and did an amazing job teaching them. The same staff member was also operating Tornado, River Canyon, and Wolf Tail around 11 a.m. on 12/22, handling all three rides by himself. The water park staff were consistently kind and helpful throughout our stay. We loved the Christmas touches, especially having Santa available, and the staff helping take photos. Everyone we encountered--throughout the park and even in the MagiQuest store--was super friendly. Parking was easy as well; you pay online and scan the barcode on your phone, though it does seem to confuse some guests. For a one-night stay, you can use the water park from open to close on both check-in and check-out days (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.), which is a great perk. Overall, it was another great stay. We even had to add an extra person to our room the day before arrival, and it was easily handled with a quick phone call and a $20 fee.

Overall, we had a really good time during our Thanksgiving break and it was a much needed vacation. Positives: our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was a walk in shower in the king room of the suite. The water park itself was warm and the cabana we rented was terrific along with a great wait staff for it. We enjoyed the food: good pizza, ice cream, and Thanksgiving buffet. The kids love the arcade and the magi quest game. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful. Negatives: the AC in the queen beds room was broken so our daughters were hot all night. They don't clean the rooms at all unless you stay at least three nights and when you're paying $600 for a suite, having your room cleaned and fresh towels brought doesn't seem too much to ask for. The food and drinks were expensive. Expensive for a theme park, and that's saying something. The staff wasted a lot of our time with not explaining things well and sending my husband back and forth for stupid things (such as when we were already checked in and they made my husband bring his ID and credit card down for our cabana even though we already had it in his wristband and had used it the day before). Parts of the water park kept breaking down for long periods of time. The lazy river was broken most of the first day and the wave pool on the second day. With how few things there are to do, that's a big problem. The arcade does not accept your wristband and you have to pay with a credit card. So, the lesson here: it's a lot of money for a so-so trip. I don't think we will be back as there are better places to visit for less money.

My first time here and I loved it. All the staff is nice. The pools/ water park is cool and fun. All kid friendly. The only thing I didn't like was how inconsiderate ppl can be. There's not many seat available for ppl to sit on since everyone leaves their trash on the chairs and their towels there that they won't go back to use and it makes it seem like they're still using that chair but they're not . I went around the park three times looking for a spot to sit down . Other than that, me and my daughter had a great time . Also. There is many things inside like an arcade , pizza spot to eat, and even a build a bear store! You really don't have to go drive outside for food cuz there a lot to eat there. We will come back again.

Fun indoor water park. The pools get pretty dirty but they have a good system in place to shutdown an area to clean it. Food is typical amusement park junk food. There is an outdoor pool with a bar close by for the adults.

We came for the weekend and left Monday. I prepaid for parking online, and it made the process easier when I got there. I liked how simple it was to check in at the kiosk and print wristbands and then checkout by texting on our phones. Waterpark: The park was less busy right as it opened, but got busier as the day went on. We didn't stay until closing, so I'm not sure how crowded it is after 6pm. We went with another family, and our kids were 6, 5, 3, and 2. Many bigger slides had height requirements of 42 inches minimum, so they didn't try any of them. They enjoyed the little kids pool area, the tidal waves, and lazy river most. I really liked that they offered life vests in all sizes for kids. Towels are provided and lockers if you wish to pay for it. They had showers and changing areas in the restrooms too, which was convenient. Other activities we did: We did play a game of bowling, and the kids had fun. My friend's kids, who are 5 and 2, loved the arcade too. We happened to come near halloween, so they had some fun halloween events and trick or treating too! I liked that the gift shop by the lobby offered these cute headbands free too! Lastly, our room was clean and quiet at night. We didn't try any of the food at the lodge, since we had a car and wanted to eat around the area instead. We came just for fun birthday weekend for 2 of the kids in our group, and they had a blast! We will definitely come back again in the future.

I went for the first time and I was disappointed. Rooms: For the price very basic no central air which is shocking considering it wasn't built that long ago. Ugly Tubs no walk in shower. Restaurants: Food looked basic, over priced and were closed due to technical issues when we were there for son's Bday. Dunkin Donuts had no people working and people order on machine and some didn't know how to use it. Swimming area: Was fun for the kids but could have been bigger. This got the most points. Also I don't like when you first walk in they say free photo and then give you a 20 minute sales pitch on buying a future package which was Tacky.

Overall, the kids had fun and a memorable experience which is most important. The check in process is always slow. There were about 15 people in line we we got there. The line was moving decently and we got near the front in about 10 minutes. We then waited another 15 to get up to the counter. I think there are some self check in options, but I am not sure how those worked, as they weren't being utilized. The waterpark is pretty small compared to others but the wait times are usually shorter. There's an arcade, mini bowling alley, miniature golf, and a few other attractions. The website showed no outside food or drinks into the waterpark. Coolers not permitted. Some people were permitted as long as there was no alcohol. Others were told no coolers. So I guess it depends on who checks? There were a lot of people with outside snacks in the park too. There used to be an area for tables and chairs on a first come first served, but those are now on a reserved basis. We were in a "renovated" room, but it appeared to be more of a "patched" room. The door was damaged, there were dents in the walls, patched work, damaged wood. I'm not sure how long ago the room was renovated for them to call it a renovated room, but it needs another. Came to Great Wolf after a few years of not coming and you can see how much it needs maintenance :( It is still a great place to birthday parties, family fun or if you want to let your kids run free. They are selling day passes and it can get very crowded, and they have removed some of the seating by the wave pool so get in early to reserve good seats. We stayed in a kids cabin, there was a bunk and an additional twin in the cabin. It would definitely benefit from an additional bunk, so we brought a twin air mattress and filled it between the bottom bunk and the twin and then deflated a bit to make it fit. It fit perfectly. There are no microwaves in the room but there is one at the end of the hall by the can't and soda machines. Kids do run up and down the halls all hours of the night so ear plugs would be a good choice. In the water park the burgers and food are really good at Buckets, reasonably priced (around 10-15$), the nachos are huge (17.99) and you can bring in home water bottles to fill at the filling stations. They have a dunkn donuts ( 15.99 a dozen) in the lobby and coffee (4$)for the early morning. You can bring in your own food and keep in your room but you can't bring in food to the water park. The arcade is fun but is very pricey. Will probably give you about 15 minutes of play for 20.00. I do recommend getting the bigger packages as it is a better value than buying everything separately.

came here for my daughters 4th bday and she and my little sister had a BLAST! It is definitely a kids dream!! self check in is easy, rooms are a bit outdated and going from the waterpark into the hotel store it is Freezing!! Not sure why they keep it so cold? all in all we had a good time and we'd come back!

We booked a summer stay at Great Wolf Lodge to treat our kids to a fun waterpark getaway -- and while they're definitely making memories, I feel disappointed given how much we spent. The waterpark itself is huge with lots to do, and renting a cabana gave us our own space (although we were definitely overcharged for what we got). One nice perk is that our room is on the top level of the resort, so we got an amazing panoramic view of the sunset and fireworks -- that was truly beautiful. The room is good in size with decent countertop space, but the mini fridge barely gets cold and its knob is broken. One of our lights didn't even work at first, though maintenance did come out and replaced it completely, which I appreciated. The shower has poor water pressure with green buildup on the showerhead, and the toilet barely flushes. The TV has very limited options too, so bring your own entertainment if that matters to you. There are other activities besides the waterpark. There's a 24-hour arcade we haven't tried yet, but we're looking forward to checking that out. The kids are also doing Magic Quest -- the idea is cute, but again, everything feels dated. The quests send the kids all over different hotel levels, which means waiting for the elevators constantly. There are 12 elevators but it takes forever to catch one, which gets old when the kids are running between floors. As for the waterpark itself, you know what you're getting: lots of chlorine smell (and what that usually means), but it is what it is with a big indoor waterpark. The food here has been pretty bland with barely any flavor. We're doing our best to bring a good attitude and make memories for our kids, and they are having fun -- but that's mostly thanks to the energy we're putting in, not the resort itself. I hope they invest in some big updates soon because for the cost, it really needs it.

Overall, a really great expierence. Family of 4. Kids almost 9 and almost 4, two adults. Mid-week visit December 2025. Every expierence we had with staff was top notch, 10/10! They all went above and beyond. Front desk, so helpful with getting us checked in with a complicated reservation. Food and retail staff always checking in for help. Pool staff, helpful and attentative, not overbearing. Consistant with rules and policies. Retail staff always helping and asking how they could go beyond. Room; we had a wolf den room on the 9th floor. 'Newly renovated' with hard floors, no carpet. I did find a stray hair in the bathroom upon arrival (that never would have flied in a hotel I have worked for). Kids loved the bunk beds. Mini fridge worked, no AC issues. We did hear some of the construction noise, was a little annoying to hear at night, but no issues sleeping (thanks to our white noise machine). I didnt realize how big the floors were, or we would have asked to be a little closer to the elevators (kids have little legs). Food was pretty decent for resort food. We ate at the burger place inside the waterpark, was easily able to share an order of chicken strips, cheese curds and fries between all of us. Pizza at Hungry as a Wolf was pretty good. One pizza fed us all. Breakfast buffet was a little under-impressive for the price, but good food. Dunkin was prime location and delicious vs regular brick-and-mortar locations. Love having a great desert option too! Magi quest was a hit with both kids, however the almost 4 year old got over having to run around, but the 9 year old did not want to stop. It is a long process, and pretty fun once we realized how it worked. Arcade had plenty of options. Staff went above and beyond when it came to choosing prizes. Allowed us multiple coins for bowling at once so we didnt have to keep going back after every quick game. Ten-paw ally was great, love the 'smaller' option with smaller kids! Allowed for more independence than regular bowling. We were so busy we didn't have a chance to attend any of the special activities they did throughout the day, however my kids were interested in doing almost all of them (we were just too busy having fun to stop and go!). Waterpark has some really great options for the whole family! I do wish there was a hot tub, or hot 'pool'. 84* may be the perfect temperature for summer days, but for the winter (where the marine layer hides the sun most of the days), BURR! Once you're in, the water was okay, but the second part of your body comes out, it was cold. My toddlers lips were constantly blue and we all were shivering! I felt I really couldn't enjoy the waterpark to its fullest because I didnt want to be cold any more than I had to be. A rope's course is being added and looks close to being finished. Some new digging going on, maybe another outdoor pool is to come? Our trip was gifted to us from grandparents, and a big hit with the kids. They are already asking when we get to go back. The packages they offer are really great at getting the most bang for your buck!

Just 1 afternoon at this incredible indoor water park was all we needed. This place has the whole package. Great for all ages. Water slides, wave pool, sprinklers everywhere, lazy river, obstacles and I'm sure I'm missing a couple other things. I would absolutely recommend it here!

Finally this time, our visit is great. We come here a lot, and before, I always had issue with some of the customer services. But this time, the stay is great, smooth, and enjoyable. There are lots of sugnage to help recognize great service. That's a great motivation hopefully with great staff incentives to keep up the service. Parking using qr code to go in and out. Check in process was seamless with multiple self service kiosks. Pools with guards in each.

Such an amazing fun filled experience! Went with my two kids (4+2) and truly enjoyed all of it! Will be going back multiple times within the next year. Every single staff member we had an encounter with was so knowledgeable, friendly and fun!

First time visiting Great Wolf Lodge and we will return. You can check in early to enjoy the park and they will pre check you in to facilitate room access. We were impressed the wristbands allow you room access and purchase ability. There's a safe in the room to secure your belongings while out and about. Rooms were spacious and clean. We love they have vending machines and microwave available. The fridge was also a decent size. We enjoyed the option to order and pick up from the Dunkin Donuts at the property. The ART bus system to Disney is right on the side of the hotels parking structure and runs regularly. There are multiple eating options walking distance from the hotel.

We love coming here with our friends and family! Last time was more crowded, this time is nice and slow. We spent a Thursday/Friday trip here and loved it. Went out after for some Raising Cane's and ice cream nearby. It's a great time for all. Even those who just want to sit around can enjoy the scenery and people. Come with the friends, family or a big group! You will make enjoyable memories. Lots of things to do also, they have arcades, bowling, build a bear, food, buffet, even a Dunkin' Donuts.

We had our football banquet for Pop Warner here. I worked side by side with Zach Green and he was AMAZING. We have a total of 31 families so I booked a block of 31 rooms. The price wasn't bad and the banquet room was nothing short of amazing. I totally recommend having it here. Anything for kids you can do as a group Zach is more than helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure it all fell into place. He even came in on his day off. They hit it out of the park when they hired him. Thanks so much for everything GWL. Our boys enjoyed themselves.

The rooms are awesome. They have buffet restaurants. Dunking donuts. Pizza house. All kids of treats for the kids. Bars and drinks for the adults. Very clean. Good prices. Very affordable. The arcade was awesome. Very well worth the time. Thank you for the experience

Great wolf lodge has seen better days. We loved going to the Manteca location but this one looks quite weathered. The carpet is old, and there's many stairs to climb for kids doing the Magiquest. The carpets in the hotel rooms have stains and are quite dirty. Even though we checked in at 11 am in the morning, our room wasn't ready until 4 pm. The most concerning was we saw a cockroach in the water park area. We did like the arcade and the breakfast buffet.

The only way I'd come back here is for a day pass to celebrate a birthday--definitely not for an overnight stay. The price of these rooms does not match the service or quality. Upon check-in, I inspected the room and immediately noticed issues. There were marker stains on the wooden table and, even worse, stains on the comforter and sheets! How? Why? I called the front desk to report it, expecting at least an apology. Instead, they just said someone would come up in 10-15 minutes to replace them. Mind you, we had just checked in--this was at 4:15 PM. At 4:30 PM, a staff member arrived and dropped off the sheets. To my surprise, I asked, "Oh, am I supposed to change these myself?" He said "Yeah," and walked off. Excuse me?! I didn't know I was part of the housekeeping staff on this trip. I called the front desk again, only to be told that the housekeeping team responsible for actually changing the bedding had already left for the day. Completely unacceptable. Beyond the room issues, the resort itself is not very modern--aside from the TV. But the biggest red flag? The bar. Bar Scam #1: We ordered a Paloma with Don Julio, and the bartender started pouring house liquor instead. When we caught her, she quickly said she "forgot." Convenient. I had suspected before that my drink didn't actually have Don Julio in it, but I hadn't been watching closely. Now I know for sure--I wasn't wrong. She was absolutely trying to pass off house liquor as premium. Bar Scam #2: The previous day, a different bartender claimed, "Oh, my system is down--would you like to charge it to your room?" We said sure. Later that day, my husband went back for another drink and asked if the system was working again. The bartender said "Oh yeah" and pulled out a new device. That night, we got an alert that someone had charged $89 at Wingstop--in a city we weren't even in. The card was with us the entire time. Extremely suspicious. To make matters worse, parking is $35 per night, and it seems like they use a lot of third-party services for these charges. Be careful not to double-pay if you're going in and out! Scan your pass on your phone for however many nights you paid for to avoid being overcharged. For the amount of money they charge to stay here, the experience should be top-tier. Instead, it was frustrating, unprofessional, and honestly felt sketchy. Water Park Experience - Great for Kids, But Needs Improvement The one highlight was the water park--our child absolutely loved it. However, the chlorine was incredibly strong--it burned my eyes and made my skin itch. Our daughter is on the spectrum, and she loves the water. Since she is not fully verbal, we had to walk her up to the slide to ensure she knew when to go. At first, she tried going back up the slide after coming down, but eventually, she got the hang of it. The lifeguards, however, could use some training. Some were yelling, and while I understand the safety aspect, not all children process instructions the same way. We stayed close to help her when needed, but it would be wonderful if the resort considered a special time slot for children on the spectrum. I saw many families trying to balance keeping their kids safe while also making sure they had fun. Oh, and the elevators? Terrible. You will have to wait 5-10 minutes just to get up and down. Cold & Uncomfortable Hotel Temperature Another thing to note--it's freezing walking through the hotel. They claim it's always 84 degrees, but that only applies inside the water park. Everywhere else? Cold as heck. If you visit, be sure to bring something to throw on while walking through the hotel, especially if you're coming from the pool. Final Verdict For the amount of money they charge, this experience should have been top-tier. Instead, it was frustrating, unprofessional, and honestly, a bit sketchy. Get it together, Great Wolf Lodge.

I have no words for Great wolf Logde anaheim! My family always have an amazing time. But I want to give a special thank you to Tchi Willette. She is always amazing. This last stay would be perfect if my older son were felling better. Unfortunately he got sick during the night and we had to leave early in the morning and couldn't enjoy all the fun activities. But anyway, we are always happy and welcoming at wolf logde! Its our family safe place !!

Celebrated my sons birthday here, we had the best time. He turned 14, was worried he would be too grown but he wasn't he enjoyed it. You don't even have to leave the hotel, the staff but so much thought into the service and activities. A must do in SoCal

Great wolf lodge is a water park hotel with locations across the country. We have been to this Anaheim (actually Garden Grove) location for many years. While they offer a day pass, it's a better value to stay at the hotel, as a one night stay provides water park passes for the day you arrive plus the day you leave. This year, the park has become a lot more automated/self serve. You really don't need to interact with a human being for check-in, parking, even getting your keys/tags are completely self serve. When I did have a question, there was a staff around to ask. To get your wolf ears you do need to have a engage in a slightly awkward conversation with a time share (I think it was Hilton?) salesperson, she was semi-aggressive which I did not like. Being asked to sign up for some vacation club while I'm with my kids, trying to celebrate a special occasion takes away from the experience. Water Park The water park itself is mostly indoors except for a small section that is mostly pool and fountains. Water temps are comfortable and being indoors, you don't get the sunburns, and outdoor wind that makes other water parks less convenient. The more fun stuff is indoors, which includes multi-rider raft rides, double and single tubes, a surfing simulation and splash pad areas for older kids and another one for younger kids. Lines Issues On a weekday when we arrived, lines were quite decent, no more than 15 minutes wait even for the most popular rides. However, when we were there on a Saturday, the wait times increased significantly to nearly 30-45 minutes for the larger raft rides and double tubes had a wait as well. This became a serious problem after a while when the lines became longer and also confusing, this was not a problem a few years ago when there were clear physical signs showing where to wait for a tube, but this time there were no signs so we observed customers get into arguments with each other when they were waiting for a double tube and people in other lines were upset when people just took them from another line. Also, there was multiple occasions when people would cut the line and walk off with a tube, also causing customers to yell at one another. At other water park we've been to, such as Wild Rivers, the distribution of tubes and rafts is managed by staff which saves customers from having to assault one another. If you are coming on the weekend, just be prepared for crowds, long lines and little to no chairs available to put your stuff so come early or come on weekdays and you can avoid a lot of headaches. Payments / Food You are given a wrist band that can open your room and pay for food which is super convenient so you don't really need to carry your wallet or phone with you. It's all taken care of by scanning the wristband. The food is the typical overpriced amusement food you expect, not quite as good as others honestly, but there's a couple decent options. Hotel rooms The rooms at GWL vary by type, some have separate areas for the kids which is great as they have a TV and bunk beds in many rooms. Pricing for these rooms can be reasonable as they include waterpark admission both the day you arrive and the day you check out. We arrived a little earlier than our checkin time, wanting to make use of the water park and were pleasantly surprised to find the room available. Parking Parking was overpriced but it included in-and-out privileges. On the weekend we arrived, the lot was full so we had to walk quite a distance just to get to the lobby area. But it's best to just drop off your stuff and park if you have a lot of luggage. Restaurants I left a separate review on the Loose Moose Family Kitchen. It was one of the highlights of our stay. For a buffet, it's not bad and our kids were able to find plenty to eat. Special shout outs to our server Cristian and Lisa C at the pasta station who were just pleasant and did their job well and with a smile. While GWL is not perfect and other water park seem to have better systems and staff training, it's still great for all ages, whether you've just started walking or an kid at heart, there's something for everyone and it makes the park a wonderful multi-generational family activity, especially for special occasions.

Fun spot to take the kids. We attended a birthday here and for a week day it was pretty crowded. The hotel needs an overhaul, everything looks very used. Food and drinks by the water weren't too bad. The prices are typical of a water park. Inside does smell very strongly of chlorine. The outside pool area wasn't too crowded. We had fun.

First Bathroom - Sink and tub fill up & drain very slow, shower makes a horrifying vibrating loudly unbearable sound (can't use shower), bathtub leaks in the left corner by door. Master bathroom - shower cutain is too short so water comes out and floods the floors. Flooring - the carpet is tore up in all different areas, stains galore and the place smells musty like old pee in carpet (no windows open for fresh air). Furniture - chair in living room is all stained and tore up, chairs at the table are broke down with no cushion anymore, the beds are lumpy old and totally broke down, the lamps are all bent and broken, the double bedroom a/c unit is broken and so noisy it can't be used and no window, the bath towels are ripped, the curtains are badly dated and damaged. Construction above us went on until 10pm. The hallway floors are so stained and the whole place just smells very musty with zero ventilation. Water Park - decent, but outdoor pool closed for construction. Lobby - sparse & dated with icky carpet. The entire place is pretty gross, unsanitary, not to mention A petri dish for covid & other illnesses! I would give this place -1

$660 for the weekend. Parking $30 a night. The outside looks nice when you're walking in, but inside is old and run down. That place has not changed. Took us about 25 minutes to check in. The line had about 40 people waiting and only 2 employees checking us in. The employee checking us in was very nice. The room, the walk to the room. You can tell the carpet needs to be deep cleaned and or changed. Walking into the room. It was clean, the towels have likely been washed hundreds of times. So they're very thin. The sink was clogged. After running the sink for just a few seconds it would fill up. Not enough lighting either. Mixed matched lighting. Some were bright greenish leds. Some regular warm lights. The water park. Oh boy... strong smell of chlorine. So strong that it would burn your eyes. Very humid. The lazy river was packed. But the majority of people were standing in there. Why you ask? Because there was not enough tubes for everyone. The capacity for the water park is 3000. They had about 25 tubes for everyone. There was a line just to wait for tubes.. the line was very long. The rafts for the 3-4 person ride. They had about 3-4 of them? And they were deflating. I saw one dedicated employee just to keep inflating the rafts. We ordered pizza. As you would expect. Terrible pizza. Mostly bread. The clientele was terrible as well. You're allowed to drink alcohol. So at the end of the night. You see and hear a lot of drunk people. One of them tried to fight me.. in front of my daughter and he had his. It was thee worst experience I've ever had there. I was there 5 years ago and I remember why I dont go. They closed the wave pool because somebody pooped inside of it so they have to treat it for an hour and then everybody went back into the pool. I understand that is out of their control but man... it's like swimming in a toilet. In the end this place is like the Chuck E. Cheese of water parks. It's the type of environment you would feel at Walmart. I spent over $1,000. I would have been better off going to wild rivers. Please save your hard earned money and go anywhere else but here. My daughter asked me. " what's your favorite part of the hotel room" I said "the door" The only Great thing about this wolf lodge is walking out the door.

Just came again for my son's 7th birthday and we still love this place!! My kids love it here and we always have the best time too. The arcade is amazing and the prizes you get are great. The ice cream place has super good ice cream. Buckets has great food as well as the pizza place next to the arcade! We will continue coming here as long as our kids are still loving it. Also, my niece got hurt by falling and getting a gash in her chin and the staff handled it amazingly. I will be forever grateful for the care and kindness they showed her!

First day of summer break for my kid was yesterday, and I decided to purchase a day pass, this was my first time doing this, I've stayed here a couple of times before though. The day pass was purchased same day, and it was $40 each, with a bundle of unlimited mini golf and bowling. We got all day access to the water park, so we got there around 10 am and left at about 7:30 pm. The park itself was not crowded, as it was a Wednesday and some kids are still in school, so it was a perfect day and time to go. They check bags upon entry, but you can bring in water and food, just no glass containers or bottles. We rode all the water rides, and wait times were 5-10 min max. The water was a nice temperature, and while the inside feels stuffy at first, it keeps you warm out of the water. I purchased lunch and dinner for myself and kid, and the food is pricey, but at least easy to order through the app. Took about 15 min both times to get the food. The restrooms have showers and are very spacious and well maintained. Perfect for a quick shower before going home or doing other activities at the lodge. Overall a good value for a water park day, we had lots of fun!

Great family fun. Stayed two nights. Really enjoyed staying here. I have an infant, so it was great to go with the kids, then go up to the room, rest and still be able to have fun after a nap. The kids loved all the events. The candy shop is huge with ton of options. Bowling was so fun. Golf was so cool, black lights and the neon glow was awesome. Dance party was a nightclub for the kiddos. I would recommend this place. We will definitely be back.

Great Wolf Lodge is an experience unlike anything else. While you sleep there like a hotel, you play there like a water park. Very little time is spent in your rooms, because there are fun things to do around every corner. The water park is huge and has a huge variety of activities for all ages. We spent two days there and didn't get to it all. It's that big. There will definitely end up areas that are a favorite hangout, so you can grab chairs nearby as a landing spot or they have cabanas available for rent. It's on a stock market pricing model, so you can likely save by booking a cabana earlier rather than later when there is more availability. We didn't book one this time around, but would likely look into it for our next trip because of the convenience factor. They even have TVs in them! Not that you'd likely watch it much. There is food on the property. We ordered cheese pizzas a couple of times for picky eater kids, and then had other food we brought with us for the hotel room. Rooms had mini-fridges in them, which was amazing. The property had so many areas to explore, and check the calendar for additional activities throughout the day. We attended a bubble dance party and story-time in the lobby. Super cute stuff for the littles. The wolf ears are complimentary at the gift shop. You just have to ask. Get ready for your kids to start howling at the moon! Even for just the adults though, I went on a bunch of fun water slides. They even had one where the floor drops out from beneath you in this little test tube. That one will have you questioning your decision making skills as you wait for the floor to fall out. That is, until you run up the stairs to do it again.... This was our first trip so we didn't do a lot of the "extras" in favor of viewing this as a cheaper first exploration trip, and even then we didn't get to everything. We will definitely be back. It's really a great deal when you factor in everything included. We live close enough the we could bring towels from home, and this saved us a lot of hassle of waiting in line to checkout towels and to return them. They're free to rent, but expensive to forget to return. It's like $60/towels, so bring your own if you can. My kids gained so much confidence in the water at this place because they had such a variety of activities and provided the life vests that the kiddos could quickly take on and off depending on the activity. There were tons of lifeguards keeping a close eye on everyone, and that gave this worried mom a lot of comfort too. I can't say enough about our trip. We had a blast!

Came here for a kids birthday on a Sunday evening. Last minute half day pass. There were 7 people in ur group. I think it was $80/person for half day and $100. It would've been cheaper to buy a groupon ahead of time but it was last minute. Groupon has great deals!! We parked in the parking structure ($25 for 4 hrs). Easy to get to the main lobby and check in to get out wristbands. Pre-paid for them as well. Make sure to do that cuz if they're at capacity, you will be turned away. We only did the inside. Didnt make it to the outside. My little cousin is 5 years old so it was easier. They have towels for you included. Seating is free for all and there are TONS of seating. They have lockers too but we just put out stuff on some chairs and went about. Kept my phone on me with a protective case. Water shoes are needed. I wouldn't walk around without them here. Everything was great. No issues. only thing is FOOD IS TRASH! Ordered chicken nachos and they cheese lacked flavor, and watery. There chicken was in this mexican sauce and it was NOT good. There are other places to eat but we ate inside the water "park".

We have been coming here for years I think since 2017 or 2018 and we love it ! From the themed rooms to the food and night time kids dance parties ! All four of our kids are obsessed with and we will continue coming ! We just did a day pass the other day and it pretty fun eventho the kids were sad we didn't get a room . 10/10 recommend

Our family enjoyed our vacation to Great Wolf Lodge but my kids were over it by the second day. We stayed 2 nights. The kids overloaded the first day at the water park. My son went on the family slide 20 times. Climbing all those stairs did a number on my legs. Unfortunately due to his height and desire for thrill, he had limited options. He was super diaappointed when the one ride he did all day was closed the next. They also closed the basketball pool the second day due to a code brown. Too bad because I never got a chance to check it out. The outdoor area was closwd day one, so I didn't bring sun block on day two. They trick or treat area was disappointing too. There were only like 5 areas. I was expecting at least the opportunity to fill up their bags. The kids loved coloring and watching the wolf show every day. Some nice touches were the moon light in the kids sleeping area, the free wolf ears, and the Halloween and Dia de los Muertos decor. The restaurants have very limited hours, and Dunkin has a crazy line. I gave up on getting coffee. The water also flared up my kid's eczema like crazy. They did not habe similar reactions doing weeklong swimming vacations at other places.

Mary Mary Mary!! This is the woman right here! GWL is so lucky to have this lady working for them! Mary recovered a negative situation from a stay back in December when the hotel had a random closure for employee training. We spent $500 only to find out the water park and restaurants were all closing the next morning (back in December). It was a nightmare and horrible surprise after checking in. Well at that time GWL gave us a "day pass" for use at a later date and we just used it this past week! Upon check-in Mary made my little girl feel so special and apologized for our previous experience on her birthday. She gave my daughter bowling, golf and a pizza. It was such a sweet gesture I had to give her a hug. Mary knows just what to do and how to turn things around for the guest. This is a very valuable trait and Mary is an angel on the ground!

10:50am the lady working the end of the mountain edge raceway (Juliana, I think) was rude and happens to pick us randomly out of everyone else in line. The racist employee calls out the only Asian family and tells us to go in the back of the line. I was already standing in line and I have no idea why she thought my family cut when the family behind me noticed they cut in front of us and let us in front of them. There was no apology or nothing. Just looks while she's talking to her coworker. This place just trains their employees how to be rude or something.

I try really hard to like this place. We have gone here several times already and the same thing always comes to mind. They need to improve on customer service. The kids had a really great time and that's why I rated is a 2 star. But we had a late check out so we went swimming and when we came back to our room it was almost 1pm and our room key didn't work. My husband had to go all the way back down to the lobby and get the key and they stated that it wasn't in the reservation however we had already paid for it. My husband said we won't have time to check out by 2pm since it was 1:15 and we still had to shower and pack up. However they still said to check out at 2pm. Smh we barely made it out. Also the line is always long for check it as well. Lots of improvement needs to happen especially for a place that focuses on kids.

My family and I stayed at the resort from 12-24-12-26 2024 for my sons birthday which is on Christmas Day. We surprised my youngest son for his birthday with this trip. Upon arrival he cried because he was so happy to be there. We really enjoyed our time at the resort. I must admit it is very expensive even with the state employee discount that I get but it is worth every penny. We had so much fun at the water park and the arcade. The best was the Magi game my son had us running around the entire hotel trying to find relics and ruins for the magi game, that was fun. The all you can eat breakfast was good especially the omelette section those were some of the best omelettes that I ever ate.All the employees were very nice and friendly and it seemed genuine and not fake. Overall we had a great time and as soon as I save enough money to go back, I will be back definitely thank you great Wolf Lodge for making great memories for me and my family for Christmas 2024.

Love the airport carts in the parking garage. Such a life saver when hauling all our stuff to our room. Self parking is $45/day with in/out privilege's. Check-in was a breeze. We arrived at 10AM and used the self-service kiosk. I was notified ~2 minutes later that our room was ready. I wasn't aware the paw on our wristbands was the key to our room, so that's pretty neat! A key card is one less thing to worry about. We got a renovated room with 1 king and bunk beds. There was a sofa and table + a dining table with 2 chairs. We were missing a hair drying so I reached out for one through the app since the phone in our room wasn't working. I had to submit another request 6 hours later and it came. So just something to note.. your request may not be handled promptly so plan to give it time. If you can, I highly recommend bringing blankets. We were freezing in our room so it helped us stay warm. I loved the vending machines and microwave option (which I think they have) on every floor - but it'd be good to see milk options for the mornings where kids just want cereal. It'd make things much more convenient. It'd also be great to have one of those CVS vending machines so we have quick access to medicine in case kids (or adults) get sick! Believe all the reviews about the food. It is subpar with hotel prices. We ended up ordering door dash and uber eats a few times and weren't the only ones (especially during dinnertime). We did order dunkin' one morning, and ordering through the app was helpful! It said our order would be ready in 10 and it was ready in 5 (it included a sandwich and a couple donuts). Cell service is terrible. You can't get into anything on the web or even through the apps on your phone without connecting to the GWL (unsecured) WiFi. It's super congested so bring a wireless puck if you have one handy! Also, for what it's worth. We booked directly through their site with a coupon (no Groupon). Our wristbands were good for full days all 3 days, which was nice. Not sure if our experience was different because of that. We also got the pup pass for the kids since it was their first time. We'd definitely come back!

Check in process was misleading and a waist of time. Got an email to use the kiosk for fast service. Total waist of time ... did all the steps and then waited 45 minutes in line still to get water passes and then I never got a text my room was ready by 4pm. My room was very nice. Remodeled King suite with 2 queen bed room attached. My 3 stars is really for not having a gym in a hotel.... Sad that this company doesn't think having a gym is important. Exercise is just as important as having access to a meal in the hotel.
