Mykonos Blu, A Grecotel Resort to Live

Truly spectacular experience. The staff was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and available. I feel like the house keeping must be magic with how quickly and beautifully they made up the rooms. ||The front desk, reservations, dining, security, bell, room service, and concierge staff were equally spectacular. It's a very rare find to have all of the interactions at a resort be so lovely. ||And then there is the resort itself. The view is spectacular, the beach is beautiful, the pool is out of this world, and our room was amazing. Also, we found out the location was fantastic for getting to the places that we wanted to be. ||We had amazing meals all over the island, but I think our sushi at the hotel was one of our favorites!||This is one of my favorite stays anywhere!

We stayed at this hotel in June 2025. We booked a more expensive room – €1500 per night – with a private pool and sea view (Open Plan Suite Private Pool). On the last night, we returned from dinner around 10 PM. My wife went to take a shower and called me 5–10 minutes later because the entire floor was covered in water – it was leaking from the drain behind the toilet. I called for service, but they only arrived around 11:30 PM. After 20 minutes, they said they couldn’t fix the issue and would provide us with another room. They did, but the new room was of a lower category and clearly worse. We didn’t want to stay there, but they insisted, saying it would be free of charge (well, of course I wouldn’t pay for that room). In the end, I decided to take a shower in the new room and then sleep in our original suite. I asked for housekeeping to clean our room, but they told me housekeeping doesn’t work at night. Overall, this hotel is very poor for the price – definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone. The beach is also bad – very hard sand, uncomfortable for kids. This is a 3.5–4 star hotel at best, definitely not a 5-star. If you’re an experienced traveler but visiting Mykonos for the first time, I strongly recommend looking for a better hotel.

Staying at Mykonos Blu was such a special experience for us. ✨✨✨✨✨ Right from the start, we felt truly welcomed and looked after. The team was always ready to help with such kindness and care, which made our stay feel really special and personal. The atmosphere is so relaxing, and waking up to those incredible sea views was unforgettable. It really felt like a home away from home, just with a touch of luxury. We left with the best memories and can’t wait to come back! 💙

This is such a great hotel. Stayed with my family for a week. View is simply amazing. Centrally located between all parts of the island…just 10mins away from all the cool restaurants and beach clubs. Service was simply excellent all around. Very highly recommend it! The team there really know how to pay attention to detail.

Beautiful Resort! Me, the wife and my 2 year old son stayed here for 4 nights and wish we stayed longer! Hotel staff are so friendly and helpful! Nikos was so welcoming from the minute we arrived! Hotel restaurant is also amazing! We cancelled dinner reservations the first 2 nights to stay at the hotel restaurant, aegean poet, and food was amazing! Breakfast and lunch was also perfect! After a day at the beach we would go to the pool area for a bit before heading back to our room! Hotel is right above the beach below the pool area so everything was just so convenient! Kostas, the guy who runs the beach area was so nice to us! Service for drinks and food in the beach was great! Kostas even gave my son some beach toys to play with everyday! By the second day everyone in the hotel was calling my son by name. Just overall such amazing staff and property was also spotless clean but also still gives you the greek vibe. Can’t remember all the names but we didn’t have a single staff member that wasn’t absolutely so kind and attentive to us! There is also a little town with a bunch of great relaxing beach restaurants on the water just a 7 minute walk down the road from the hotel. We rented a car and only used it once and could have done without it to be honest, especially that the hotel offered us complimentary pickup and drop off to the airport. Overall I couldn’t have expected more and we can’t wait to come back here next summer!

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff was very kind and always helpful. The cocktails are well made and the breakfast and dinner was very tasty. The sand is a bit coarse compared to other beaches we visited but still very enjoyable. The pools are filled with salt water which I enjoyed. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Our 2nd time staying at Mykonos Blu, so good!! Staff make you feel at home, service & food was superb! Then when you venture down to the beach, you are greeted by Kostas and his team, I got to know them pretty well and they are awesome, everything becomes possible. Special thanks to Kostas and Maria (head of customer relations), the entire team made our holiday one to remember! See you next year.

We had a really lovely stay! The service was amazing from start to finish, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Big shoutout to Gabriela, the bartender, and the beach staff who went above and beyond to make our trip extra special. The location is amazing with a beautiful beach perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was great with loads of options. The rooms and bathrooms could do with a bit of an update, but the amazing staff and gorgeous setting more than made up for it. Would definitely come back!
