Green Bay Phu Quoc Resort & Spa

This was our first time visiting the charming island of Phú Quốc just off the coast of Vietnam. We planned to stay at three different properties, and when we were taken to the Green Bay Phu Quoc Resort & Spa, it felt like we had finally arrived. Everything that we could have possibly wanted and dreamed of was there. We were greeted by staff every day in a way that made us feel like we were part of a community, as opposed to just regular guests. Over the course of our stay, the amount of relaxation you want to seep into every part of your body on a true vacation, was truly made possible by staying at Green Bay. Every part of this resort is carefully thought out to be part of the lush greenery that surrounds it. Our villa was the central comfort with spacious accommodation, bright decor and spectacular amenities. It was difficult to leave it every day, only because the villa's infinity pool meant you didn't have to go far to go swimming. From the pristine white sand with crashing waves, to the tasteful delights of morning breakfast, scrumptious afternoon tea, and divine Vietnamese dinner, there really isn't anything more you could ask for. Oh, ice cream on the beach? No problem. The friendly gents at the pool shack will oblige with a variety of options. You must take in the spa and indulge yourself in the treatments. Nothing is rushed. Instead, you are welcomed with a refreshing tea and a warm-soak foot scrub before melting away into the massage table. This was a trip unlike any other, and when our third hotel fell short, it was a simple decision – let's go back to Green Bay. And so we did. A few special mentions to staff who went above and beyond: Front Office Manager Ms. Tuong was more than generous and hospitable in helping us find the perfect room and view to suit our trip. Gio Restaurant Manager Ms. Xuan provided delightful conversations and not only suggested food to choose from the menu, but also offered to have the chef make something special just for us. Lady Palm Restaurant Mr. Vinh provided a delight to every day, chatting with us as if we were dear friends, and making the most incredibly romantic dinner on the beach a breathtaking reality. Under Ms. Xuan and Mr. Vinh's leadership, the restaurant staff exude warmth, kindness and generosity in a way that compliments their resort's overall vibe – to help make their customers' stay as enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable as possible. And a special shoutout to Mr. Khoa for making our romantic dinner enjoyable and helping with a special surprise! If you're looking for a serene, tranquil place, with an impeccable atmosphere for relaxation, friendly hospitality, and to be surrounded by staff who greet you with kindness and a joy of being there, the Green Bay Phu Quoc Resort & Spa is where I highly recommend you go. I cannot wait to go back, and may have already booked my return trip after writing this! :)

Among hundreds of hotel options in Phu Quoc , we are very lucky to pick up Green Bay resort. It is located in tranquil and isolated beach where my husband and I can have completely relaxed time. One special thing is that you always have cool breezes and nice shape trees right on the beach, so you don't feel hot in summer. The villas are spacious and lovely, comfortable amenities. The resorts 'hosts are very respectful, kind , helpful, and friendly. Foods are delicious and bring you a southern sweet taste. Last but not least , don't forget to try the spa. They will welcome you with detox drink , tea, and crystallized ginger. Before taking you to the professional and relaxing spa treatments, they soar your foot in herbal warm water and clean them with care. We have a fabulous vacation, and this resort and memories will always be in our minds.

😊: It was one of the most wonderful vacations our family has ever had. My husband, 12-year-old son and I enjoyed the beautiful weather, absolute silence, and calm sea. It seemed that we were completely alone in the jungle. A small monkey came to visit us at the villa, to the complete delight of our son. Only in the restaurant did we find other hotel guests. We were alone on the beach and in the pool. And we were not bored, because the hotel had sups, crossbows, volleyball, and balls. Wonderful spa. Many thanks.

Green Bay was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed — especially by Thi, who checked us in with such warmth and professionalism. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay.||The staff throughout the resort were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and quietly confident in what they do. There’s a relaxed, almost family-like atmosphere among them, which speaks to strong leadership and thoughtful training. It made everything feel seamless and unforced.||The beach is simply stunning — peaceful, clean, and ideal for swimming or just switching off. Our villa was beautifully tucked away in the greenery — cool, stylish, and perfectly private. It struck just the right balance between comfort and nature. We felt completely at ease, like we had our own little retreat.||We honestly never felt the urge to leave the resort. Everything we needed was there. Breakfasts were fresh and generous every morning, and in the evenings we dined at the Asian restaurant — the food was consistently excellent, with a wide choice and very fair pricing for a five-star property.||If you're after peace, privacy, and heartfelt hospitality in a truly beautiful setting, Green Bay Resort is hard to beat.

😊: We had a very relaxing stay. Villas are very spacious and luxurious. Fantastic breakfast and a choice of Vietnamese or Western food restaurants with lots of additional vegetarian options available. Morning yoga and a fantastic spa. I have spent a lot of time in Thailand and the thai massage from Thi in the resort was absolutely excellent. Thank you Thi!!.

We had a phenomenal 4 night stay at Green Bay. The staff will work around the clock to sort out anything you ask, either in person or via their WhatsApp service. Particular thanks to Khoa who patiently waited on us for multiple dinners, and the multiple bartenders at the Coral Lounge bar who made delicious cocktails (that don’t skimp on booze). All provided meals are superb (breakfast and afternoon tea are both substantial and delicious), whilst dinners at both restaurants were varied and not too extortionate for a resort based hotel. Both pools and the sea were perfect, coupled with excellent rooms/villas at each price point (the western side of the resort was slightly better than the eastern for the garden villas, in our opinion). It certainly was a 5* stay. Notwithstanding the brilliance, we do have a couple of points of feedback that Green Bay (or other travellers) may want to consider: - As someone with a peanut allergy, I would strongly encourage the hotel to make very, very clear on the menu when any dish will include peanuts as a garnish, as well as being more proactive managing a guest who tells multiple staff they have an allergy. After having to send back dishes on day 1 when peanuts were added off menu, I had to be very clear on every order that I was allergic. Staff were always v apologetic and speedy to resolve. - There were a huge number of guests who got badly sunburned whilst we were there (our group included). For us (and those reading may not believe this, but trust me), our burn occurred through the very thin parasols by the pools / beaches - we spent no time uncovered in the sun that day! Whilst we should’ve been SPF50’d up considering the UV index was maxed out, I’d encourage the hotel to consider (a) darker / thicker parasols to prevent unwanted burn, and/or (b) provide a courtesy warning to guests that the UV on Phu Quoc is no joke. - Whilst the afternoon tea is a masterpiece, I’d suggest the hotel make clear it is a lunch sized offering to spare guests ordering similar / smaller lunches at cost minutes before it’s served! These suggestions were not enough to deter a 5* review. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay.

😊: This place is perfect. Staff are exceptional, patient and friendly. There are several restaurants on site, I only ate in the central restaurant which was really tasty, breakfast comes with many many options. And room service is quick. I stayed in the Hill Side Pool Villa and wow, it did not disappoint. The room was incredible. Would have easily spent a few more days here. Grounds are very well maintained. The beach is in walking distance and sea warm. I would come back. I definitely recommend this location for some downtime. Very tranquil..

One of a kind, very authentic, very connected to the nature, I dont think I could find any better villa, the private pool is soooo nice very clean the water is worm and the design of the villa and the pools are amazing. |I will list the things that were definitely spacial :They give you free massage, free afternoon tea, free small gifts and chocolate to your room and even free laundry!!! |They also have whatsapp service, they respond very fast and nicely. |The resort is under construction and will be perfect in 3 months from now, any way it was worth the money time and effort.
