3-Day Family Camp at Green Camp, Bali Our family recently attended the 3-day family camp at Green Camp, Bali, part of the Green School family, and it was an unforgettable experience. I attended with my two boys, aged 8 and 12, and it proved to be a fantastic opportunity for them to get a taste of the Green School ethos, learn about sustainability, and immerse themselves in Indonesian culture. The course director, Kiky, and facilitators Gede, Dina, and Sky were truly exceptional. Their enthusiasm and passion for the camp and its mission were evident in every activity and interaction. They created a warm, engaging environment that brought the experience to life for both children and adults. Kiky’s leadership and personal touch made everything run seamlessly, while Gede, Dina, and Sky brought energy and depth to every session, sharing their knowledge with genuine joy and care. The camp offered a perfect balance of hands-on activities, nature immersion, and teamwork. My boys loved learning practical skills, such as building and crafting with natural materials, and exploring the connection between sustainability and our daily choices. It was also a wonderful chance for them to experience the value of working with others and the impact it can have. As a family, we cherished the chance to reconnect with nature, unplug from the busyness of life, and spend quality time together. Meeting families from across the globe added another enriching layer, making the camp a cultural exchange as well as a bonding experience. I wholeheartedly recommend the Green Camp to families looking for a meaningful, educational, and fun retreat. It’s a rare chance to not only learn but also grow together while experiencing the incredible environment of Bali. Thank you, Green Camp team, for a truly magical experience!

Excellent experience. In the first day we were too quick to judge and thought the whole camp was all fluff. But if you keep an open mind, it can truly be a lovely experience for your children and you. Be prepared to be pushed out of your comfort zone- there will be mosquitos, insects, etc. oh yes, and no flush toilet so you will be doing your business in compost bins. This was the only low light for me.

Very cool place... an educational place that can provide inspiration for anyone. Unique bamboo building, super inspiring toilet. Everything returns to nature. Schools, offices and anyone need to study here to be applied in the place where they live

Nothing good here for learning in this new world except insect bites and sleepless nights. You could get them for free. Lousy old bus that they claimed envoronm friendly what a tourist trap. Cellphone not allowed (maybe 10-15min a day) worse than prison. I dont understand why did the school send them here. Most parents were uninformed. And they made it mandatory for their academic grades. The children were motivated to be excited for this trip by their marketing pictures. I hope this review helps. And most parents could save money in these tough times. Bbs parent

Green Camp is really cool and connects you to nature.. The food there are great and the facilities are also nice. Though you would need insect repellent, sunscreen and rain coat. But you can learn a lot of things, especially about nature and organic farming.
