Green Grass Hotel & Restaurant

I visited Green Grass Hotel in Jaffna while I was there for work, and I had a good experience staying here. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a nice place to relax after a busy day. The food was also very good, with tasty options to enjoy during the stay. The service was friendly and helpful, and the staff made sure everything was comfortable for the guests. Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you are visiting Jaffna. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel with good food and service. ⭐

We stay two nights at there for dfb, Rooms are very clean and spacious, A/C and hot water working properly, Walking distance to the jaffna railway station, They offer breakfast buffet from Valampuri Restuarent, there are plenty of indian food. Staff is very Friendly Ample parking space

Stayed 2 nights with 11 members in my family . We took the bread and breakfast option. Rooms were specious , clean and A/C , hot water was working perfectly . Breakfast was buffet type and there were plenty of authentic tamil food. Also, food was delicious . Located near to the station which is very convenient when traveling around city. Good value for money.

Looks like Hotel management is on the opinion that the reasonable pricing means offering badly maintained accommodation to customers. During our visit from 19th to 20th we occupied 03 double rooms and all of them had various issues. With tourism industry predicted to be very active in the Northern part of the country hope that the hotel management would look in to upgrading basic facilities. Suggest that one of their senior managers make a visit to each room to experience the issues 1st hand. Excellent food. Front office staff seems that they are not sure of what they are doing and rude.

The hotel was not clean and not worth the money. The room was very dirty, and basic facilities were missing. Even towels were not provided. For a lower price, other places offer much cleaner rooms with better facilities. Very disappointing experience.

This is the hotel I stayed at last night and the hotels here in Sri Lanka have been pretty mid unfortunately. The beds were dirty, there was no hot water, and the furniture out and about in the hotel were dirty too. We were extremely tired after a safari and then several hours of driving to Jaffna from Wilpattu National Park, so we crashed right away, regardless of the experience - but I wouldn't recommend it.

I had a very bad experience I booked 3 triple rooms, they promised for Room with all services, after confirmation I made the booking. On arrival to the location they informed TV is not working and technician will come to fix same night, no one came to fix, next day also same. So we stayed without TV, without hot water. Next day night they changed the rooms. I booked separate Room for driver, it has no AC. Next day they changed the Room Rooms are very old without any maintenance, old bed sheets. Don't trust their word. Breakfast was excellent.
