Green Hill Boutique Hotel & Hostel

We stayed here two nights upon our arrival in Flores, before heading East. The hotel is located on the touristy side of the city, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, tourism agencies and even a massage parlour. The room was clean and generous but there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room and hot water seemed to be limited to about a shower, which was inconvenient especially to the second in line. The bed was very comfy and the ac was good and silent. We had a room on the left side of the stairs, which was way quieter than the rooms right up the stairs. The hotel has a terrace facing the sea which is very useful and pleasant for remote work or watching the sunset. One floor below is the restaurant. There were different choices for the included breakfast and it was quite ok.

Great location, in the centre of town with lots of cafes nearby and supermarkets close by. A good place to stay if you're hopping on or off the boats at the marina. I stayed in the dorms and they were very clean, I could see them doing renovations on the opposite dorm so it's nice to see they're still working on the facilities. I stayed at another hostel in Labuan Bajo before this and this one definitely stands out as the better experience. Very quiet hostel, there is a long table in the communal area but people don't seem to mingle. Great place if you want to chill There is a restaurant attached to the hostel and they offer a discount for any breakfast order. Cafe downstairs is also good Downside - they give you fleece blankets but it doesn't seem like they wash it after every stay, I saw the cleaning crew folding and putting them alongside the change of sheets as they were swapping out the sheets. The shower drains seem to be clogged so after people have showers the smell does become quite pungent, and waft into the communal area

I do not recommend this place. if you care for good service and for clean room, this is not the place for you. The woman at the front desk who appears to be the manager was rude and very unhelpful made us wait for a long time and then change the price constantly asking for more money than we agreed on. Eventually, we got to the room, which was nothing special little bit air conditioning not working well and 1 million stairs to have to walk up. This was not our first night in the city and we just wanted to change a hotel for a different experience. We ended up spending more money for less service. Don’t come here.

Lovely staff and fantastic location. Rooms were very clean with lovely views! They kindly supply earplugs for the karaoke next door but luckily it only happened one evening out of 5 and didn’t go on late. 🙌

The beds are amazing and well constructed. There's a little separate building that houses 2 small dorms, which is nice and clean. I didn't try the restaurant of the hotel/hostel, but it has a nice atmosphere. The coffee place at the entrance is great!

Great stay, would highly recommend. From the moment we checked in, until checking out to fly out of Labuan, all of the staff were exceptional and accomodating. One of the guys even let us use his motorcycle(we paid of course) as Benny across the road (absolute nightmare) sold us a faulty moto. The inclusive breakfast was also very tasty, as well as the local lunch menu choices. Even the coffee shop neighbouring the hotel was lovely. Would stay again, thanks Green Hill

We do fall in love with this hotel, we got a brand new renovation, its sparkling clean.. The breakfast is supperb.. Although its only 6 menus they have for breakfast, but its enough for us.. We stayed 3 days.. The services it supperb too.. From receptionist until the cleaners have polite manner and friendly to the guest.. The hotel location is supperb, just in the middle of the labuan bajo, near the harbour, closed to every where.. They have restaurant too.. Great one, with the view of harbour.. Great place to stay for our vacation

Located in the heart of "town"...walking distance to Harbour/restaurants etc. The downside is, the Mosque! The call to pray woke me at 330am this morning, and is repeated at the usual times throughout the day. Try not to get a room near the top of the hillside. My 66yr old legs did not appreciate the hundred or so steep steps. Other than that, rooms ,service, etc quite good.
