A rustic old-fashioned Swedish hotel that offers comfort, style, and extraordinary panoramic view! I stayed in room #39 with a bed fit for a king and a comfortable seating area. My window opened up to an outdoor seating area with an incredible view of Lake Siljan. Taking a stroll around the village gave you a nostalgic feeling of how life in the bygone era should be, except things are still done the way it has been. A sweet taste of life in Sweden.

We were like 20 people from my family that spent four days at the hotel and we were very happy with everything. The price when booking it in advance (February) was very good and the hotel was much better than we had expected. Food, service, view from the restaurant towards the lake Siljan and so on was amazing. I strongly recommend this hotel, and the rest of my family had the same impression!

A fantastic hotel with excellent facilities and breathtaking views across the lake below. The rooms are large and spacious, only disappointment was the double bed was two singles made up as singles and shoved together. Staff were really helpful and the food was very good. Magnus looked after us in the restaurant and was helpful and welcoming.

Wedding at The Green Hotel – June 2025 We had our wedding at The Green Hotel in Tällberg in June 2025, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. From our very first visit to the hotel through to the wedding day itself, the service was consistently exemplary. Sofia and Emilie were absolutely brilliant throughout the planning process—professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful in bringing everything together seamlessly. On the day, the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. A special thank you to Magnus, Agneta, and Bridgite, whose warmth and attention to detail made us and our guests feel so well cared for. The food was of outstanding quality, and the service was attentive without ever being intrusive. We were also very grateful for the hotel’s help in arranging guest transportation, which made logistics so much easier. The level of care, organization, and hospitality shown by the whole team made the day feel effortless. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting or a more professional team to help us celebrate. Highly recommended!

Amazing setting, brilliant food and service, would highly recommend a stay at the green hotel. Tallberg is a relaxing place with scenery that is breathtaking.

We really enjoyed and loved the Green Hotel. Especially recommend the 3-course dinner with delicious food and drinks.

The hotel is very traditional and the decor is very authentic wooden Swedish folk style - some might feel not modernised or in need of an upgrade.||||The setting of the hotel is beautifully positioned overlooking Lake Siljan.||||There are lots of different room types so you will need to be specific in what you need. We initially had an issue which was rectified.||||The dinner surpassed our expectations. The quality and presentation of the food was excellent every meal, every day.||||One of our children has allergies and the staff went out of their way to accommodate him. Special mentions to Sophia - the lovely restaurant manager, also to Daniel and Magnus who looked after us very well!||||I also wanted to thank Anna for being so helpful and accommodating- she really went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay. Ulrika was also excellent and we very much enjoyed making cinnamon buns with her, in the cottage on the hotel grounds which was an extra activity.||||We organised husky trailing (not enough snow for sledging!), hiking and ice fishing - amazing experiences for the family - all about 1 hour away but enjoyable journeys and rest time! Husky experience must-do. Anna and Per were lovely, and fantastic dogs!||||Recommend this trip for an adventure
