Green ijen homestay & tour

Johan is a great host and his nephew is very nice and they are happy to help with whatever. We also did the ijen tour and had a great time.

A room with very basic conditions: you get what you payed for. Mould, no sink, no hot water, no sheets, instant noodles for breakfast. Mouedzin from 3.30 am for 1.5 hours. It’s not worth trusting the owner to provide additional services, as the entire approach seems geared towards misleading tourists and extracting as much money as possible. Quality and the conditions in which guests are placed appear to be of little concern.

Johan is very nice host. We had a great weekend here in Banyuwangi.

Johan is a really great host who takes really great care of his guests. He is a really open and friendly guy who loves to share his interesting stories and make people laugh. He makes everything possible, no matter what, he even showed us a video of how he carried a man in a wheelchair up Ijen! He has lots of great tours aside from Ijen, such as waterfalls, beaches with turtles and national parks, so you should really consider to stay a bit longer than just for Ijen. The rooms are simple but totally fine! He has a nice common area with a kitchen to have breakfast and chat. Breakfast is typically Indonesien plus fruit and it was really good. Also the WiFi was really good too. The location is also nice, not too far from the city center. We walked there and to a Chinese temple and a nice black beach. On the way, there were a lots of fruit stands and supermarkets. All in all, it is a great budget option with an incredible host, I would totally recommend!

Clean rooms, fair price, breakfast included, and a very helpful and friendly host Johan who can arrange trips to Ijen.

Good and best guiede and place

Le meilleur endroit avec le meilleur accueil de Banyuwangi. Johan nous a fait découvrir Banyuwangi et ses alentours, dont le parc de Betiri pour assister à la ponte des tortues, le mont Ijen et j'en passe, tout ça avec tout le temps le sourire, la joie de vivre, de l'humour et de la gentillesse ! Son neveu Angky, toujours présent, aux petits soins pour que nous soyons au mieux tout au long de notre séjour. Terima kasih Banyak pour tout ce que nous avons vécu et découvert là bas. Allez-y, vous découvrirez et vivrez ce qu'ils appellent la "Wonderfull Indonesia" 😁👍

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Johan, tant par la propreté de son homestay, le rapport qualité-prix, le petit déjeuner et évidemment sa gentillesse et sa bonne humeur ! Plein de conseils pour se restaurer et aussi pour la suite de notre voyage! Nous avons fait Sukamade Beach pour observer les tortues pondre et libérer les bébés le matin, c'était magique 😍 Merci Johan nous reviendrons peut être faire le mont Ijen un jour 🤗
